"Of course!" The boss sized up Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo, walked to one side, and began selecting clothes for them.

After strolling around the street, Lu Hanmo took Luo Shu to a rice noodle shop. Since it was past the regular mealtime, the shop wasn’t very crowded.

Lu Hanmo was quite familiar with Li City; he had been here on several missions before. His dialect was so good that no one could tell he was from out of town.

"Shushu, take a look at which type of rice noodle you’d like to try?" Lu Hanmo passed the menu to Luo Shu.

Luo Shu glanced at it, "Let’s have the Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles." Although she had not been to Li City in her previous life, she was not unfamiliar with Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles.

Shortly after, the Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles that Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo had ordered were served. A large bowl of broth steamed without visible steam. Small dishes of raw lean pork slices, pea shoots, chives, and blanched tofu skin were arranged next to the broth and rice noodles on a tray.

Luo Shu’s lips lifted sweetly as she pushed her bowl in front of Lu Hanmo and swapped it with his bowl filled with veggies, "I still prefer vegetables." She knew, test or no test, that Hanmo’s love for her was real.

"You’re so naughty," Lu Hanmo said with an affectionate smile as he watched Luo Shu, his eyes filled with indulgence.

Having finished their meal, the couple walked around the streets some more and bought some local specialties. Although tourism was not as prevalent as it would be in future times, some travelers were still present.

As it was nearing dusk, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo arrived at the square at the village entrance, now crowded with many people.

Lu Hanmo pulled Luo Shu to a slightly emptier spot and stood firm like an impenetrable wall, fiercely protecting her within his embrace, preventing anyone nearby from touching her.

At that moment, in the center of the square, a group of young and beautiful girls were dancing.

The dance, full of ethnic characteristics, delighted the eyes!
