Chapter 394: Three hundred ninety-three, go home
Luo Shu put away the communication talisman and made two copies of Luo Qianyu’s message, giving one each to Xiao Yao and Yun Han, asking them to take care of Luo Qianyu for him. "Brother Xiao Yao! Yun Han! I entrust my father to your care."
"No problem!" Xiao Yao answered with a smile.
"Don’t worry!" Yun Han said with a smile and a nod. He would naturally take good care of her family member.
Luo Qianyu put away the communication talisman, his face full of smiles. Now he could finally cultivate with peace of mind.
"Qianyu, the Boundless Sea is just ahead," said a Late Golden Core Cultivator next to Luo Qianyu.
Luo Qianyu looked up and saw an endless sea ahead, with azure waters and surging waves, majestic and powerful. It was not much different from the seas he had seen before.
"In half a month, the sea beast tide in the Boundless Sea will occur, and then we’ll have to kill even more sea beasts," another Golden Core Cultivator Mid Stage said with some excitement.
Every three years, a large-scale sea beast tide erupts here, and many cultivators would specifically come to train and then exchange the beast cores and skins of the sea beasts they killed for spirit stones or the True Cultivation Resources they needed.
"Sure!" Luo Qianyu nodded with high fighting spirit, looking forward to the Boundless Sea in front of him. This was his first time experiencing true cultivation in the True Cultivation World, and he was really looking forward to it!
As soon as Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo left the True Cultivation World, they headed straight for the Lu family. Having been away for so long, the Lu family must have been extremely worried.
Zhu Huizhen sat on the couch absent-mindedly, watching television. It had been more than five months since Hanmo took a long leave and went traveling with Luo Shu, and he hadn’t called home even once. Hanmo and Luo Shu were not such inconsiderate kids; she was really worried that something had happened to them abroad.
After a long sigh, Zhu Huizhen stood up and walked upstairs. All she hoped was for them to return safely.
"Young master! Miss Luo! You’re back!" At that moment, excited voices of the servants came from outside.
Zhu Huizhen paused her steps, listened carefully to confirm she hadn’t misheard, then turned and ran outside quickly. Hanmo and Luo Shu were back, which was great! They were safe.
Seeing Zhu Huizhen running out in a hurry, losing a slipper without even having had time to put it on, Lu Hanmo and Luo Shu quickened their steps to meet her, "Mom! (Auntie!) We’re back."
"It’s good that you’re back! Where have you been all these five months? I was so worried!" Zhu Huizhen looked at Lu Hanmo and Luo Shu with an excited face. She feared she was dreaming right now.
Lu Hanmo glanced at Zhu Huizhen’s bare foot, his heart full of guilt, "Mom! Sorry! We made you worry!" She didn’t even have time to put on her shoes, which showed how glad she was that they were back.
Zhu Huizhen shook her head with a smile, "As long as you are back, that’s what matters. Let’s go inside and talk." She then turned to the servants and instructed, "Quickly go inform everyone that Hanmo and the others are back."
"Yes!" The servants hurried into the house to spread the good news.
It wasn’t long after Luo Shu and the others had taken a seat on the living room couch that they heard "thud, thud!" footsteps coming down the stairs.
Then they saw Ye Shanshan and others running down with vigorous steps.
"You’re really back!"
"I just heard you were back and thought I was dreaming. Where have you been all this time?"
"Not even a single phone call, it was so worrying!"
Everyone took a seat on the couch, all eyes fixed on Lu Hanmo and Luo Shu, inquiringly looking at them. They were not the type to be lacking in sense; if nothing had happened, they would definitely have called to check in.
Lu Hanmo looked apologetically at everyone, "I’m sorry for making everyone worry! I’ll explain everything once grandpa arrives."
"Sure!" Everyone nodded. Now that they were back, they weren’t in a rush.
Old Master Lu, dressed in a teal suit with black cloth shoes on his feet, came over looking vigorous. If one looked closely, they could see a hint of urgency and haste in his steps.
"Grandpa!" Lu Hanmo and Luo Shu stood up at the same time, respectfully greeting Old Master Lu.
Old Master Lu smiled and waved his hand, walking over and taking the main seat left open for him. He looked at Lu Hanmo and Luo Shu and said, "Tell us."
Lu Hanmo nodded, "Before I begin, let me ask everyone a question. Do you feel like there’s a flow of energy inside your body, feeling very energetic every day even without sleep, and like you have endless strength?"
"Indeed, that’s the case," everyone nodded. Their current state must be related to the Cultivation Secret Manual and elixirs that Luo Shu had provided them.
"That’s because you are no longer ordinary people but true cultivators," Lu Hanmo said.
"True cultivators? What are those?"
"Is it the same as Ancient Martial Artists?" Everyone looked curiously at Lu Hanmo, waiting for his answer. They were aware of Ancient Martial Artists, and becoming one was something they had always aspired to.
"True cultivators are different from Ancient Martial Artists. True cultivation, also known as cultivation of immortality, means with each advancement in cultivation, you’re one step closer to becoming an immortal," Luo Shu explained.
"What?!" Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.
"Shushu means that there’s a chance you could achieve immortality and become eternal one day," Lu Hanmo said. Such a thing was indeed hard for ordinary people to accept.
"Becoming an immortal? Eternal life?" Everyone felt as though they had been struck by lightning.
"Hanmo, are you joking with us?" Even Old Master Lu was unsettled. Immortals were creatures of legend; how could they possibly become one?
"Grandpa! I’m telling the truth, the place Shushu and I went to is the True Cultivation World," Lu Hanmo said with a smile.
"Do you have any proof?" It was not that they were unwilling to believe Hanmo, but it was just too unbelievable.
Lu Hanmo waved his hand, throwing out several Formation Flags to set up a Shielding Array, and with a flick of his finger, he produced a pale purple flame. This was his Life-bound Heart Flame, which would automatically appear in a cultivator once they reached Nascent Soul stage.
Everyone watched Lu Hanmo’s fire in disbelief, and it was a long time before they came back to their senses. At this point, they were mostly convinced in their hearts.
"Do you have any other proofs?" They wanted to see more to completely convince themselves that this was true.
Lu Hanmo conjured a Flying Sword, "This is a Flying Sword, stand on it, and you can fly through the sky."
