Chapter 392 - 391, Seven-Leaf Blood Lotus

Chapter 392: 391, Seven-Leaf Blood Lotus

Luo Shu and his three companions arrived at the location of the Seven-Leaf Blood Lotus, only to find the lakeside already surrounded by cultivators. Each one watched with covetous eyes, eyeing the Blood Lotus in the center of the pond. However, with so many powerful masters around, no one dared to make a move.

Luo Shu surveyed the cultivators surrounding them and looked toward the Blood Lotus in the middle of the pond, pondering how to make it his own.

Time ticked away by seconds and minutes; from dawn to dusk, no one dared to approach. However, several cultivators with formidable cultivation had started to grow restless. Their divine senses were continuously involved in a covert battle of wits.

Suddenly, the Blood Lotus in the center of the pond stirred. Everyone thought it was an illusion and were attempting to get a clearer look when the Blood Lotus suddenly vanished from sight.

"Who?! Who took the Seven-Leaf Blood Lotus? Bring it out!" A Great Mahayana Primary Stage cultivator scanned those present with a stern gaze, and his formidable aura simultaneously pressed down on everyone.

"If you don’t bring it out now, don’t blame me for showing no mercy!" threatened another cultivator at the initial Great Mahayana stage.

"If I find out who took it, I will have their head separated from their body!"

"Don’t think you can hide it forever. With one sweep of my divine sense, I will find out," said the Great Mahayana cultivators one after another. They hadn’t expected someone to outmaneuver them amidst their secret strife. It infuriated them!

As they spoke, their divine senses swept over each person present, but to their dismay, they did not detect the Blood Lotus.

Looking back to the center of the pond, many harbored a trace of doubt. They hadn’t noticed any fluctuation of spiritual power just now; could it be that the Blood Lotus disappeared on its own?

The crowd cast furtive glances at the Great Mahayana cultivators and, noticing their attention was elsewhere, quickly took their leave.

"You there, stop!" A flash of movement, and a Great Mahayana cultivator blocked Luo Shu and his group’s path.

"Senior!" Luo Shu and his companions bowed respectfully to the figure. Given their strength, they naturally stood no chance against a Great Mahayana cultivator.

"You carry the scent of the Seven-Colored Moon Orchid Fruit on your bodies. Have you consumed it?" the Great Mahayana cultivator asked.

"Indeed, we have consumed it," they could only respond honestly. Since the other party could sense it, there was no use in denying it.

"Do you still have any Seven-Colored Moon Orchid Fruits with you?" he inquired further. There were seven fruits in total, and there were only four of them, which should mean three were still unaccounted for.

"We did indeed have seven fruits originally, but upon picking them, we encountered several cultivators who robbed us of three, and they even destroyed the Seven-Colored Moon Orchid Tree. If senior does not believe us, you can check for yourself. It’s located 63 kilometers to the west," recounted Luo Shu with a respectful tone and an honest demeanor, showing no sign of deceit.

Lu Hanmo looked at Luo Shu with concern. He knew that now was certainly not the time for rash action.

The Great Mahayana cultivator scrutinized Luo Shu for a long time before turning his gaze to the others. Seeing that they all appeared as forthright gentlemen, he waved them off. He had already scanned the location of the Seven-Colored Moon Orchid Tree with his divine sense, and the situation was indeed as Luo Shu had described. He had hoped, in the absence of the Blood Lotus, to find some compensation in the Moon Orchid Fruits. Now, he could only seek other spiritual treasures.

The other Great Mahayana cultivators shared this thought. After confirming that Luo Shu was not lying, they left first.

"Thank you, senior!" After expressing their gratitude, Luo Shu and his group quickly walked away in the opposite direction from the Great Mahayana cultivators.

It wasn’t until they could no longer sense the divine sense of the great cultivators that they heaved a great sigh of relief.

"Shushu, you scared me to death just now," Lu Hanmo said, still shaken by the recent ordeal. He had been ready to fight, knowing full well he was no match, but willing to risk his life if the Great Mahayana cultivator had attacked Shushu. He would never part with her in this life; if she lived, he lived; if she died, he died!

"I also broke out in a cold sweat. You really took a huge risk, girl, but thankfully we made it through safely," Xiao Yao wiped his forehead, feigning to dry sweat that wasn’t there.

"Lu Hanmo, you’re in for some headaches in the future," Yun Han said with a laugh, glancing at Luo Shu with a hint of affection deep in his eyes. In that moment, he made a decision to live and die with her.

"That too, is a sweet burden," Lu Hanmo replied with a smile, nodding.

"Be careful, or your display of affection might be the death of you," Yun Han joked with a smile.

Looking at Yun Han, Luo Shu’s eyes reflected deep thought. Recalling past interactions with Yun Han, she felt it was very possible that he, like her, originated from the future.

Noticing Luo Shu’s contemplative stare, Yun Han arched an eyebrow and flashed her a smile.

"Let’s go! Let’s see if we can find any other spiritual treasures," Xiao Yao said, slapping Yun Han’s shoulder and speaking to Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo.

"Sure!" Lu Hanmo answered with a smile, taking Luo Shu’s hand.

Luo Qianyu stood at the entrance to the gorge that led to the True Cultivation World, taking in a deep breath before stepping forward. Since the day Shushu told him about her journey to the True Cultivation World, nearly five months had gone by without a word from her. He was incredibly anxious. After discussing with everyone, he decided to go to the True Cultivation World to look for Shushu.

With his strength now breaking through to the Golden Core stage, he believed he wouldn’t encounter any danger in the True Cultivation World.

After a moment of dizziness, Luo Qianyu landed in a forest, "I wonder if this is the same forest Shushu visited last time." Shushu had told him about some aspects of the True Cultivation World, and he only knew of the portal because she had shown it to him. She mentioned that once his strength reached the Golden Core stage, he could come to the True Cultivation World for some training, which would be beneficial for him.

Pulling out a communication talisman, Luo Qianyu activated it to contact Luo Shu, but after waiting for quite a while, there was no response from her end.

Trying several times yielded the same result.

"Where on earth could Shushu have gone?" Luo Qianyu worried. However, he was confident that nothing had happened to Shushu. He had always trusted his instincts.

Sweeping his divine sense through the surroundings, Luo Qianyu headed in one direction. He planned to look around the True Cultivation World for a couple of days before attempting to contact Shushu
