Preparing her gifts and about to visit the Lu family for the New Year, she heard Yang Mujing calling her, "Luo Shu!"

Following the voice, she saw Yang Mujing standing on his second-floor balcony, waving and smiling at her, "Happy New Year!"

"Yeah!" Luo Shu replied with a smile. Hanmo had told her the previous day that his mission was successfully completed. He would be back in Jinchen soon and would come to find her if he could get leave.

"Then you should go ahead. We’ll catch up when you’re back," Yang Mujing smiled and waved to Luo Shu, "See you later!"

"See you later!" Luo Shu smiled, nodded, and carried the things to her car. The area where she was living consisted of detached houses with large yard spaces, which made parking convenient.

Driving to the Lu family’s home, they had been eagerly awaiting her arrival. Seeing Luo Shu coming, everyone was very happy.

"Luo Shu, why did you bring so much again? You don’t need to be so formal; this is your own home," Zhu Huizhen reproached Luo Shu. She was extremely satisfied with Luo Shu as her future daughter-in-law.
