Professor Shen examined it carefully, "Why is this Corpse Worm black?" He remembered the Corpse Worms from before were brown.

"It has mutated, and a bite from one of these mutated Corpse Worms results in death," Luo Shu explained.

Hearing this, Professor Shen’s face underwent a drastic change, "What should we do? Throw it away quickly! Don’t get bitten by it."

Luo Shu smiled and took out a small glass bottle to contain the Corpse Worm, "It’s perfect for research."

Professor Shen saw that Luo Shu was not bitten by the Corpse Worm, and he finally breathed a sigh of relief, "You’re too bold, girl." If it were any other girl, she wouldn’t just catch one, she wouldn’t even dare to look at it without screaming.

Luo Shu smiled and did not speak. Once everyone had chosen their beds, she walked over to the remaining one and placed her luggage down. Compared to the others’ numerous bags and packages, her luggage was much simpler, consisting of only a military-green backpack.

Luo Shu looked towards where Lu Hanmo was sitting, gave him a light smile, said a quick word to the people beside her, and walked over to him.

"Let’s go outside to eat," Lu Hanmo said to Luo Shu as he walked outside after seeing her approach.

With a light smile, Luo Shu followed Lu Hanmo’s steps. With so many people around, they naturally had to keep a low profile.

The two found a deserted corner, stepped into a space, and had their meal by the Spiritual Spring Pool. After eating, they leaned on each other and started to chat.

"Let’s go explore tonight," Luo Shu suggested. Being with him, she suddenly became interested in the events of this trip. Whether the Corpse Worms were cultivated by a True Cultivation Sect or for some other reason, they decided to investigate their source first.
