The car that had just charged toward them was now crashed against a large tree by the roadside.

"I’ve made plans to see him," Luo Shu said with a sweet smile at the thought of Lu Hanmo. It had been over a month since she had seen him, and she missed him terribly.

"Looking at you all lovesick, could it be that you’ve made plans with a man?" Meng Yujuan teased Luo Shu. Without the freckles, not only had she become much prettier, but she also seemed more outgoing and confident.

"Yes!" Luo Shu didn’t deny it and nodded with a smile.

Meng Yujuan’s eyes widened in surprise, and then she asked gossipy, "Who is he? What does he look like?"

"I’m not telling you!" Luo Shu chuckled and picked up her textbook from the table, walking toward the outside of the classroom.

Meng Yujuan hurried after her, "Come on, tell me. If you don’t, I won’t be able to eat or sleep. It’s unethical of you to keep me hanging like this, only telling me half the story."

"I still won’t tell you, just to make you suffer," Luo Shu said with a mischievous laugh as she ran ahead.

"You little devil, I’ll catch up to you eventually. Then I’ll interrogate you severely until you spill the beans," Meng Yujuan laughed as she chased after Luo Shu.

The two raced and played, laughing all the way back to the dormitory.

"What’s so funny?" Xiao Yan stopped packing her bags and looked at Luo Shu and Meng Yujuan who had rushed in. Her home wasn’t far from Jinchen, and she was planning to go back for the National Day holiday.

"Luo Shu has a date with a man over the holiday, and when I asked her about it, she wouldn’t tell me who it is," Meng Yujuan said with a laugh. After more than a month of living together, she had developed a very good relationship with Luo Shu and the others in the dormitory.

"Luo Shu, when did you start dating someone?" Xiao Yan said, looking at Luo Shu in surprise.

"What? Luo Shu has a boyfriend?" Zhang Qi, who had just come out of the bathroom, looked at Luo Shu curiously. How come she had never seen Luo Shu on the phone with her boyfriend?

"Me too. I read a novel yesterday that was super good, the male lead treated the female lead so well. If only there were men like that in real life," Xiao Yan said, her face full of longing.

"What novel? Let me see," Zhang Qi said with interest.

"I want to see it too."

Seeing that everyone had shifted their focus to the novel, Luo Shu smiled faintly and sat down by her bed. Youth was like this, carefree, filled with longing and dreams for the future.
