Chapter 292: Two hundred ninety-one, who am I?

After the hired part-time worker had helped Yun Han bathe, Su Jinyue paid them, and once they had left, she sat opposite Yun Han and looked at him, "What on earth happened to you?" Although she had fed him Spiritual Spring water and Nine-Leaf Lotus Seeds, the vitality within him was still continually slipping away.

Yun Han’s eyes turned toward her, staring blankly, "Who am I..."

Luo Shu was slightly taken aback, then looked at Yun Han with some surprise, "You’re Yun Han." She didn’t know whether the Spiritual Spring had mended his senses, but his current state was much better than before.

"Yun Han... Yun Han..." Yun Han kept murmuring his own name, with a hint of deep thought in his eyes.

Seeing Yun Han’s improved state, Luo Shu was happy for him. All she could do for now was to feed him some Spiritual Spring water; the rest was up to him.

After sending Yun Han to the guest room to rest, Luo Shu returned to her own room.

Entering her space, Luo Shu immediately sat in the center of the Spiritual Spring to cultivate. She did not know what had befallen Yun Han, but she was certain that he had encountered a formidable enemy, otherwise, with his strength, he would not have been injured like this.

Thinking of her own strength, which was far inferior to Yun Han’s, Luo Shu felt even more urgency to elevate her own capabilities. If only she had some Medium Grade Spirit Stones to assist in her cultivation.

A night passed by in an instant.

Luo Shu prepared breakfast, walked to Yun Han’s room door, and softly knocked. Hearing no response from inside, she pushed the door open herself.

Pushing the door open, she saw Yun Han sitting in front of the window, frowning in thought.

Luo Shu didn’t approach to disturb him; she sat down to the side, waiting for him to return to reality from his thoughts. His mental state was clearly much better than the day before.

Yun Han frowned in deep thought for a long time, but his mind was still blank. The only thing he knew now was his own name.

Turning to look at Luo Shu sitting beside him, "Can you tell me about it?" he asked urgently, really wanting to know about himself.

Luo Shu looked at Yun Han, and after thinking, she spoke, "I only know that your name is Yun Han and that you studied at Yun University, nothing else." During their time together, she had been mostly unconscious. Plus, she didn’t like to pry into other people’s affairs.

Yun Han nodded with some disappointment, then turned his gaze back to the window. He could feel his life slowly slipping away and didn’t know what had caused it, but he knew he had to remember quickly, or he feared he wouldn’t have enough time.

"Let’s go eat breakfast," Luo Shu stood up and said to Yun Han. She could see his urgency, but some things couldn’t be resolved hastily. She didn’t know what had led him to forget the past, but even if he were to recover his memories, it would still take time. Perhaps when he was feeling better, he would suddenly remember.

Yun Han nodded, stood up, and followed Luo Shu.

Once Yun Han was seated, Luo Shu handed him a small cup of Spiritual Spring water. All she could hope for now was that it would be of some help to him.

"Thank you!" Yun Han took the Spiritual Spring and drank it down. He recognized this was something precious.

Luo Shu slightly smiled and pointed at the chopsticks in front of him, "Is that alright?"

"Yeah!" A smile formed on Yun Han’s lips. No matter who he was, as long as he lived, he was determined to find a way to repay Luo Shu.

Luo Shu took a sip of soy milk from the table, "If you’re up for it, you might want to take a walk nearby, it could help with your recovery." She had originally planned to move her luggage to school today, but with the current circumstances, that was naturally out of the question. Yun Han was her friend, and she couldn’t just abandon him.

"Sure!" Yun Han nodded with a smile, his mind feeling clearer now than before, though he still couldn’t remember his past.

Watching Yun Han leave, Luo Shu went back to her room and into her space. Besides cultivating, she had looked through some medical books yesterday but hadn’t found any diseases that matched Yun Han’s condition.

Walking into the palace, Luo Shu approached a bookshelf holding the Alchemy Secret Manual and began to search for it. Yun Han had saved her once, and she was determined to do her utmost to save him in return.

Yun Han wandered the streets, viewing the unfamiliar scene with no sense of recognition, so he simply found a spot to sit, watching the pedestrians come and go.

Luo Shu had searched all day without any leads, only to emerge from her space and discover that Yun Han hadn’t returned.

She promptly went out to look for Yun Han. It would be terrible if something were to happen to him. If only she hadn’t suggested he should go out.

After searching near the neighborhood and reaching the street, Luo Shu found Yun Han sitting absent-mindedly on the curb. Seeing that he was alright, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Upon seeing Luo Shu approach, Yun Han stood up and gave her an apologetic smile, "Sorry, I lost track of time." He had been trying hard all day to remember, his mind occasionally flashing with images, yet he still didn’t know how he had been injured.

Luo Shu smiled and shook her head, "Let’s go back." As long as he was unharmed, that was what mattered.

"Okay!" Yun Han nodded with a smile and followed Luo Shu towards the direction of the neighborhood.
