Chapter 245: Two hundred forty-four, relationship

Luo Shu took out two bottles of pills and handed them to Aunt Li and her husband, "Take these two bottles of pills, they’re good for your health, just one pill a day. Please don’t refuse, this is a token of our brother-sister sentiment." Since they were unwilling to return to Cloud City with them, she could only ask the Lu family for help in taking care of them.

"Alright, we won’t be polite with you then," Uncle Li said with a smile and a nod, reaching out to take the pills from Luo Shu’s hands.

Luo Shu smiled, "If anything comes up in the future, feel free to call me directly." She was filled with gratitude for the kind elderly couple.

"Sure!" Aunt Li and her husband smiled and nodded, walking outside together with Luo Shu.

As they got into the car, Luo Zheng looked out at Aunt Li and her husband reluctantly, "Auntie! Uncle! We’re leaving now, please take good care of yourselves!" If it weren’t for the Song Family being here, he would really like to stay and live with them.

"Okay, then drive slowly on your way back." Aunt Li and Uncle Li waved at Luo Shu and Luo Zheng with a smile, watching as their car slowly drove away.

Until the car disappeared into the distance, Aunt Li could no longer hold back her tears that she had been holding back for a long time, "I wonder when we will see them again."

"Come on! Don’t cry, Xiao Zheng and the others will come back to see us in the future," Uncle Li said gently, patting Aunt Li’s shoulder and taking her hand as they walked into the distance.

The car arrived at Jinchen’s private airport of the Divine Doctor Family.

The person in charge at Jinchen had been waiting there, and when he saw Luo Shu coming, he quickly stepped forward to help her open the car door, "Miss!"

Luo Shu smiled and nodded, stepping out of the car she asked, "Is the plane ready?"

"It’s all set!" the person in charge responded with a nod.

Luo Zheng was startled to hear that they were taking a plane. He had thought they would take a car or train back to Cloud City, but to his surprise, it was a plane. He came here by car with Song Xiran.

"Let’s go," said Luo Shu, looking at Luo Zheng in the car.

Luo Zheng, snapping back to reality, quickly got out of the car and followed Luo Shu. His heart was filled with excitement, as he’d never even taken a train before, let alone a plane. This plane must belong to Brother Lu’s family, he thought.

As the plane gradually left the ground and the landscape on the ground became smaller and smaller, Luo Zheng felt a mix of excitement, exhilaration, and a faint nervousness.

He turned his gaze away from the window, looking towards Luo Shu sitting in front of him, "Big Sister, this plane is Brother Lu’s, isn’t it?"

"Hmm!" Luo Shu nodded, offering no explanation. She did not want to tell Luo Zheng about her background.

Seeing that Luo Shu was unwilling to talk more with him, Luo Zheng’s mood instantly dropped, no longer feeling the excitement he had before.

An hour later, the plane landed at the Cloud City airport.

Luo Qianyu knew that Luo Shu was coming back today and was already waiting for them. Seeing Luo Shu coming down from the plane, he greeted her with a smile, "Shushu, you’re back!"

"Brother!" Seeing Luo Qianyu’s handsome smile, Luo Shu’s mood immediately lifted a bit.

Luo Qianyu smiled and ruffled Luo Shu’s hair, turning to look at Luo Zheng beside her, "It’s been tough this time, hasn’t it? Don’t just follow anyone carelessly again. You’re not a kid anymore; it’s time to be sensible." He didn’t particularly like Luo Zheng and Luo Shan, the siblings.

Luo Zheng was okay, but Luo Shan was simply a drag; he felt annoyed just looking at her. Thankfully, Luo Shu was completely different from those siblings, otherwise if he had a sister with the same temperament as Luo Shan, he would have a real headache.

"Big Brother Luo, I won’t do that again!" Luo Zheng said earnestly. The lessons learned this time were enough for him to remember for a lifetime.

"Let’s go," said Luo Qianyu with a smile, pulling Luo Shu’s hand toward his car.

Luo Zheng looked enviously at Luo Shu and Luo Qianyu walking ahead and sighed helplessly in his heart. If not for his own mistakes, his relationship with Big Sister wouldn’t be such that he was now less than an outsider.

Aunt Chen, her husband, and Qin Che and his son knew that Luo Zheng was coming back today and had arrived at Luo Shu’s home early in the morning to help wash vegetables and cook.

Seeing the three of them enter the yard, they all smiled and approached.

"Xiao Zheng, you’re finally back; are you feeling alright?"

"I heard you were injured, how are you feeling now? Is there any discomfort anywhere?"

Luo Zheng felt a lump in his throat and sniffed, "I’m fine now, thank you all." If he could go back to the beginning, he would never go back to the Song Family with Song Xiran, then his relationship with Big Sister wouldn’t have turned out like this.

"Good to hear. Come on in; we’ve already prepared the meal, I’m going to make a soup," Aunt Chen said cheerfully.

"I’ll go wash my face," Luo Zheng said, afraid he couldn’t hold back tears if he stayed any longer.

Aunt Chen nodded and looked at Luo Shu, "How come Luo Shan didn’t come back with you?" Luo Shan was also stubborn; Aunt Chen had advised her before to move back and live with Luo Shu, but she insisted on worrying about her good-for-nothing father.

That was bad enough, but at least Luo Shu had found her a good job, and her father, motivated by the money, probably wouldn’t treat her too badly. But she just couldn’t keep still and followed some cousin who came out of nowhere. That would be fine, but she had to involve Luo Zheng as well. Now that things had turned out this way, Aunt Chen really didn’t know what to say about Luo Shan.

"Auntie, let’s go inside; I’m a bit hungry," Luo Shu said, not wishing to dwell on Luo Shan. Making the decision to give up on Luo Shan was hard for her too, but what else could she do? She could help Luo Shan once, twice, but she couldn’t help her for a lifetime.

After the meal, everyone gathered in the living room to chat.

After hesitating for a moment, Luo Zheng went over and sat beside Luo Shu, "Big Sister, I want to live at school in the future." This was a decision made after much deliberation. Both he and Big Sister needed time to cool down; perhaps being apart for a while would help improve their relationship.

"Have you decided?" Luo Shu looked up at Luo Zheng.

"Yes!" Luo Zheng nodded. He also didn’t know how to face Big Sister now.

"Alright, then. I’ll make the arrangements for you," Luo Shu said calmly. She really wanted to treat Luo Zheng as she had in the past, but found that she couldn’t force herself. Perhaps being apart for a while was indeed the best choice.
