Chapter 206: Two hundred and five, plan

Upon seeing Luo Shu, Luo Erya was momentarily stunned; regaining her composure, she snorted coldly at Luo Shu, "It’s you!" The person she hated the most in her life was Luo Shu. If not for her, she and her mother wouldn’t have fallen to such a low state.

Her elder sister had married Second Fool, and every day she was either scolded or beaten. Since her mother divorced Luo Jiansen, she had become hysteric and mad. If she hadn’t sold her body in exchange for a job, she and her mother would now be living worse than beggars. All this was caused by Luo Shu. How could she not hate her?

"What a coincidence," Luo Shu said indifferently, her lips curving into a faint smile as she turned and walked towards the counter. She had no good feelings for Luo Erya.

"Luo Shu, you will get your retribution one day," Luo Erya said, her eyes dark and cold as she stared at Luo Shu’s retreating figure, wishing she could rush forward and bite a piece of flesh from Luo Shu. She would wait for that day to come!

Luo Shu curled her lips in a smile, not even interested in looking back at Luo Erya. Why would she bother with someone who didn’t even qualify to be her opponent?

Song Xiran got out of the car and glanced at Luo Shan and Luo Zheng still inside, a flicker of disgust flashing in his eyes. If it weren’t for wanting to use them to restrain Luo Shu, he wouldn’t have brought these two bumpkins back. People like them, not to mention becoming members of the Song Family, didn’t even qualify to be servants of the Song Family.

Luo Shan and Luo Zheng were shocked as they looked at the villa not far away—it was so beautiful, almost like a palace. Was this really their mother’s home?

"Young Master!" The butler approached and respectfully greeted Song Xiran.

"Uncle Fu, these two are the Young Master Cousin and Miss Cousin," Song Xiran indicated Luo Shan and Luo Zheng inside the car, "I’m going to see grandfather. Please arrange for them." He didn’t want to look at Luo Shan and the others for even a second longer; the smell coming from them during the ride had nearly fainted him. He really wondered, given that they were born from the same mother, how could they be so different from Luo Shu?

"Understood, Young Master!" Uncle Fu smiled and stepped forward, opening the back door of the car. "Young Master Cousin! Miss Cousin! Please get out of the car."

"Okay!" Luo Shan smiled timidly at Uncle Fu, looking constrained and unsure of what to do.

"Thank you!" Luo Zheng was also a bit constrained, but he was much better than Luo Shan. After all, he had been to school and had often met some important people when he lived with his elder sister.

"Don’t be polite! Please follow me," Uncle Fu said with a smile as he led them towards the villa.

Song Xiran arrived outside Old Master Song’s study and raised his hand to knock gently on the door.

"Come in!" A voice came from inside, old yet still authoritative.

Song Xiran pushed the door open and entered the study, seeing that in addition to his grandfather, his father and uncles were also present.

"Grandfather! Big uncle! Second uncle! Fourth uncle..." Song Xiran greeted everyone in turn.

Old Master Song nodded slightly, "Sit down." He had many grandsons, but the one he valued most was Xiran. Be it his intelligence or talent, he was the best among the younger generation.

"Have you brought the person back?" Old Master Song asked in a deep voice. Learning that the person who had solved the poisoning crisis in Cloud City and had created the Snow Skin Cream that made ladies of Jinchen’s high society go mad was actually the child of his abandoned daughter, he thought about bringing her back.

"She is unwilling to return," Song Xiran shook his head, speaking somewhat despondently.

"Why?" The people seated all frowned. They truly couldn’t understand why she would refuse. As long as she was willing to return, whether it was money, status, power, or anything else she desired, the family could satisfy her.

Song Xiran glanced at everyone, taking in their expressions, "She’s currently with Lu Hanmo, and she is also an Ancient Martial Artist." In fact, he somewhat suspected Luo Shu to be a True Cultivator. However, without confirmation, he preferred to remain silent about this.

"What?" The people couldn’t believe it. Luo Shu’s mother, wasn’t she sent to a remote little mountain village back then? How could Luo Shu possibly be an Ancient Martial Artist?

Old Master Song pondered for a moment, "Does she know about our relationship with the Lu family?"

"She does!" Song Xiran nodded, "She said she has nothing to do with the Song Family, not in the past, nor will she in the future."

"What does she think she is? Our Song Family doesn’t need her!"

"Exactly! We wouldn’t welcome her back even if she wanted to return! It would be best if she never came back!"

"What a joke!"

Old Master Song frowned and coughed softly, prompting everyone to promptly close their mouths.

Song Xiran looked at Old Master Song, "Grandfather, although I didn’t bring Luo Shu back this time, I did bring back her brother and sister."

"Do they also practice Ancient Martial Arts?" Old Master Song raised his eyebrows slightly. If they did, it would be worthwhile to keep them at the Song Family home.

"They are just ordinary people, but I brought them back because they are Luo Shu’s brother and sister. That Luo Shu is no simple person, and she also has a connection with the Divine Doctor Family. By keeping Luo Zheng and Luo Shan at the Song Family, perhaps one day, we can use them to threaten Luo Shu. After all, they are her blood relatives; she wouldn’t ignore them."

Old Master Song nodded in agreement, "Then let them stay." After all, the Song Family was large and prosperous; two more people would not make a difference.

"Alright, Grandfather!" Song Xiran nodded with a smile.

Early in the morning, Luo Shu arrived at Aunt Chen’s house, bearing gifts.

She knocked on the door, and Wang Zhen, Aunt Chen’s daughter-in-law, came to open it.

"Who are you looking for?" Wang Zhen had not seen Luo Shu before and didn’t recognize her.

"I’m here to see Uncle Chen and Aunt Chen," Luo Shu replied with a smile.

"Then come in!" Wang Zhen stepped aside, making way for Luo Shu to enter.

Uncle Chen was basking in the sun in the yard. After several days of rain, the sun had been shining brightly for the past two days, warming them pleasantly.

"Luo Shu, what brings you here?" Seeing Luo Shu come in, Uncle Chen quickly stood up with a hearty smile.

"I came to see how you both were doing," Luo Shu said, smiling as she approached and placed the gifts on the table.

"It’s good enough that you came to visit; why bring anything? Child, you’re making us feel like outsiders," Uncle Chen said, glancing at the gifts on the table and speaking reproachfully. If it hadn’t been for Luo Shu, he and his wife would have long been gone from this world. They were genuinely grateful to her and truly regarded her as their own kin.

"Well, the New Year is almost here!" Luo Shu explained with a laugh.

"So you’re Luo Shu! I’ve heard about you," Wang Zhen said, looking at Luo Shu. When the virus was spreading, she had been confined for postpartum care and hadn’t seen the news or read the newspapers about Luo Shu. But she was familiar with the name; not only did her in-laws mention it, but her husband also often spoke of Luo Shu.
