When Wutian Xinye heard that his son had brought Luo Shu back, he was slightly surprised.

After gesturing for his subordinates to leave, he closed the document he was holding, stood up, and opened the safe embedded in the wall behind him. He placed the documents inside and locked it securely. These were the materials for the new weapons, as well as the data for the newly developed Poison No. 2.

Wutian Tengyi had Luo Shu taken to the guest room, and also arranged for two subordinates to secretly monitor her. Just after Wutian Tengyi had changed into his home clothes, a subordinate hurried over to knock on the door, informing him that his father wanted to see him.

Arriving at the tea room, he saw Wutian Xinye sitting on the tatami mat drinking tea, "Father!"

Wutian Xinye nodded slightly, then gestured to the seat opposite him.

Wutian Tengyi walked forward and sat down opposite Wutian Xinye.

"I heard you brought that woman back?" Wutian Xinye asked, sipping his tea.

Not to mention, for her to live with Lu Hanmo.

Wutian Tengyi frowned slightly, "You mean, all of her behavior today was a disguise?" But no matter how well someone disguises themselves, can they really imitate to such an extent? Plus, he had examined Luo Shu’s eyes carefully; the weakness that originated deep within the bones could not be faked.

Yet, his father’s words also made sense. He had clashed with Lu Hanmo a few times, and that man’s coldness seemed to be innate. With Luo Shu’s personality, how could she possibly approach him?

"Sometimes, what the eyes see isn’t necessarily the truth," Wutian Xinye said with an inscrutable smile, playing with the teacup in his hand. Maybe he should meet this woman himself.

"I understand!" Wutian Tengyi stood up and bowed deeply to Wutian Xinye.

Wutian Xinye smiled and nodded, waving his hand at Wutian Tengyi. Young people still needed to be tempered.

Luo Shu propped her head with her hands, blinking her large eyes as she stared at the ceiling, "I wonder if Hanmo has arrived? He must be worried not seeing me."

Hearing the sound of a car starting up outside, Luo Shu quickly stood up and approached the window to look down.

Luo Shu strode past everyone and headed towards the main building. If there was any information about the secret base here, it would likely be kept in the study or the bedroom.

Entering the main building, Luo Shu first took a tour on the ground floor and found that there were no bedrooms or studies.

On the second floor, she listened carefully and heard someone in only the third room; the other rooms were empty.

Reaching the first room, Luo Shu quickly and quietly slid the door open and slipped inside. The doors were all made of wood and slid to open, with no locks in place.

She gently closed the door and affixed a Talisman to it. Luo Shu scrutinized the room. It was obviously a bedroom, with simple furnishings. Apart from a row of wardrobes, there was only a tatami mat on the floor.
