Chapter 147: I want to participate in mission 146.

"When are you going there?" Lu Hanmo asked. She had told him that she had already agreed to go to the Divine Doctor Family with Luo Qianyu.

"It should be in the next few days. Your mission should have come through, right?" Luo Shu looked toward Lu Hanmo. In his previous life, it was around this time that he went to MD Country.

"Yes!" Lu Hanmo nodded. Although Shushu was the person he loved, the mission was still classified, and he couldn’t say much.

"I will hurry back and join you for the trip," Luo Shu said with a hint of determination in her gaze.

Lu Hanmo slightly curved his lips, with a mix of helplessness and indulgence as he caressed Luo Shu’s hair strands, "What am I going to do with you?" He understood her, knowing that it was hard to change her mind once she made a decision.

Luo Shu smiled and leaned her head on Lu Hanmo’s shoulder, "After we’ve finished talking about everything, I have something I want to give you." She didn’t want to talk much about the mission either, as she had already made her decision.

The car drove smoothly into the training camp. Liu Changhe, with several subordinates, was already waiting there. They took Luo Shu so seriously not just because of her recent contributions to Cloud City. Her Healing Medicine was what they valued most. Because the effects of that medicine were just too good!

With that medicine, their people would be able to cut down the casualty rate by half when they went on missions. Unless it was a lethal shot, generally, if someone with a serious injury applied Healing Medicine, the bleeding would stop immediately. In missions, most of the time, the casualties were actually due to excessive bleeding.

"Little Divine Doctor! Welcome to Drum Mountain Training Camp!" Upon seeing Luo Shu getting out of the car, Liu Changhe personally stepped forward with a smile to greet her. Luo Shu’s agreement to cooperate with them was no doubt a tremendous boon for the training camp.

"Commander Liu, you flatter me!" Luo Shu smiled and shook hands with Liu Changhe.

"It’s our honor to have the Little Divine Doctor here! Let’s go to the conference room to talk in detail. This way, please!" Liu Changhe smiled and gestured invitingly.

"Alright!" Luo Shu nodded with a smile and walked toward the conference room, surrounded by the group of people.

The conference room was very simple, with a long table and a few wooden chairs. Perhaps to welcome Luo Shu’s arrival, a vase with several branches of wintersweet flowers was placed in the center of the table.

The golden wintersweet blossoms had some fully unfurled, presenting their elegance and beauty, while others were still in bud, shy and captivating like a young girl in her flower season.

The wafts of floral fragrance filled the entire conference room, light and refined, intoxicating to those who smelled it.

"Little Divine Doctor, please take a seat here!" Liu Changhe invited Luo Shu to sit with a smile.

Luo Shu nodded with a smile and after making an inviting gesture toward Liu Changhe, she seated herself gracefully.

"Little Divine Doctor, take a look at this. This is the plan we’ve drafted. If there’s any issue, please bring it up," Liu Changhe said as he handed the already-prepared plan to Luo Shu.

Luo Shu received the plan and quickly glanced through it, "There’s no problem." The conditions and price they offered were indeed satisfying to her.

"For the ten thousand bottles of Healing Medicine proposed above, how long will you need to deliver?" Liu Changhe asked. The mission to MD was now imminent, and the trip to MD Country was fraught with danger. If his people could carry Healing Medicine with them on missions, it could offer them an extra chance to survive.

"It will be ready within three days. However, I have a request that I hope Commander Liu can fulfill," Luo Shu said, her slender fingers gently tapping on the tabletop, her gaze filled with a confident glow as she looked at Liu Changhe.

"Please speak!" Liu Changhe nodded, smiling broadly. He had no doubts about Luo Shu’s words. The last time Luo Shu and Luo Qianyu made the antidote, it had only taken a few days, and there were tens of thousands of citizens in Cloud City.

"I want to join Lu Hanmo in this mission," Luo Shu said, her gaze filled with seriousness and determination as she looked at Liu Changhe.

Liu Changhe turned his head to glance at Lu Hanmo, hesitating before he spoke, "Little Divine Doctor, this mission is too dangerous; it isn’t quite suitable for you to go along." He understood Lu Hanmo’s character, knowing he wouldn’t reveal the mission details for personal love interests.

"It’s precisely because it’s dangerous that I’ve decided to go, and my presence will definitely be beneficial for the mission. I can speak the language of MD Country, and I’m familiar with their customs and culture. If someone is injured, I can provide immediate treatment. And of course, most importantly, I can defend myself," Luo Shu confidently stated, listing out the advantages of her joining the mission.

This ..." Liu Changhe felt his heart swayed by what Luo Shu had said. If everything she stated was true, it would indeed be very helpful for the mission, but he had never witnessed Luo Shu’s fighting skills himself.

Seeming to perceive Liu Changhe’s thoughts, Luo Shu said, "Commander Liu, you can call a few of your subordinates to test their skills against mine. If I lose, then my request will be null and void."
