Spoiled By the Young Master After Reborn In the 80s
Chapter 1042 - 1040, Heart of Time

Chapter 1042: 1040, Heart of Time

Everyone looked at Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo in unison, hoping they would quickly give them an answer.

"The Formation at the bottom of the sea doesn’t need to be broken. It’s not the Array Core of the Time Formation, so unlocking it would be useless," Luo Shu said.

"Then can we still get out of here?" Originally, they had no hope and could only resign themselves to staying here. Now that they saw a glimmer of hope, they naturally wanted to leave. No one wanted to stay in a place where they could only cultivate but had no cultivation resources.

"We came here to deliver this news to you. We already know the location of the Array Core and are now preparing to break it," Lu Hanmo said.

"Then hurry up and go!"

"No delay, let’s move quickly!" After learning the news, no one wanted to wait another moment.

Everyone summoned their Flying Swords and followed Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo grandly, flying toward the edge of Time Country. While Time Country wasn’t exceedingly large, it wasn’t small either. After two full days of flying, they finally reached its edge.

A massive, gigantic rock appeared before everyone. One after another, they descended to the ground.

"Why is the Heart of Time here?"

"We’ve been in Time Country for so long and never discovered its presence."

"If we had known it was here earlier, we wouldn’t have had to wait this long."

"This is not the Heart of Time; it’s the Array Core of this Time Formation," Luo Shu said in response to their discussions.

"So this is where we’ll exit?" Senior Hei asked.

Luo Shu nodded. "In a moment, Hanmo and I will open an exit Formation on this Array Core Stone. With our current strength, it can only hold for the duration of an incense stick, so everyone must move quickly."

"Alright!" Everyone responded, their faces full of excitement, anticipation, and joy. Finally, they could leave this place.

Exchanging a glance, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo nodded to each other, then tacitly cast out Formation Flags.

As the Formation Flags continued to sprinkle onto the Array Core Stone, radiant light burst forth. Before long, a white light portal appeared in front of everyone.

"Everyone, get out quickly!" Lu Hanmo shouted loudly to the group.

The crowd came to their senses and immediately got in line, hurrying into the light portal. Although there were many people, their speeds were quick. By the time the incense stick was nearly burned out, everyone had already passed through the Array Core Stone.

Luo Shu released a drop of Essence Blood, pressing it onto the Array Core Stone, and stepped into the light portal with Lu Hanmo. She had comprehended the Time Rules of this world and gained its recognition. Once everyone left, she could collect the Heart of Time. Hanmo, too, could theoretically claim the Heart of Time, but as he already possessed the Chaotic World, he was no longer eligible.

Although she also had her own spatial magic tool, it couldn’t compare to a Small World. Most importantly, there was no conflict between a spatial magic tool and a Small World.

Seeing Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo emerge from the Heart of Time, the group hurried forward to express their gratitude.

"Luo Shu, Lu Hanmo, thank you! If you ever need our help in the future, please don’t hesitate to let us know—we’ll come as soon as we can," Elder Hei said. Back in Time Country, they had already exchanged communication imprints with each other.

"As long as you need us, you can reach out at any time. We’ll never decline." Without Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo breaking the Formation, they didn’t know how many more years they’d have been trapped in that world. Their hearts were filled with immense gratitude toward the two of them.

"We’ll take our leave first. If you need us, be sure to call on us." Now that they had been released from Heart of Time’s confines, they intended to roam freely and enjoy life to the fullest.

"There’s no need for such courtesy, seniors! Until we meet again!" Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo cupped their hands politely.

"Until we meet again!" The crowd also cupped their hands toward Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo before flying toward the horizon. With their current cultivation, the Formation Prohibition on the Time Prairie could no longer bind them. The Time Prairie and the Heart of Time were different—the Time Prairie’s Formation had been artificially laid, while the Formation of the Heart of Time was a Natural Formation created by the Heart of Time itself.

They had thought about claiming the Heart of Time for themselves, but the idea of possibly getting trapped within it again quickly extinguished such thoughts. Finally gaining their freedom, they weren’t about to return to a life of imprisonment.

"Shall we go too?" Luo Shu said with a smile to Yun Han and the others. Now that she had contracted the Heart of Time, she planned to put it away once they were some distance from it. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Yun Han and the others, but some things were better kept under wraps.

"Senior Hei mentioned that a year in Time Country equates to only a day outside. We’ve been inside for ten years—does that mean only ten days have passed in the outside world?" Ye Lifeng wondered aloud as he bent down to pick up a Time Stone from the ground, playing with it in his hand. When they first arrived, there had been no Time Stones here. But now, to their surprise, they had found two. Could the rumors be true—that Time Stones form from the lifespans of cultivators? If so, it seemed quite a few cultivators had ventured into the Domain of Time.

"We’ll know once we encounter someone and ask for the current time!" Xiao Yao said with a laugh. Having left the domain, he felt a great sense of comfort and relief.

The group chatted as they retraced their steps. Despite being trapped in the Heart of Time, the experience had yielded enormous gains, with their strength improving several-fold.

"You’re out?" A soft, feminine voice suddenly rang out.

The group followed the voice and saw the speaker was the female cultivator they had met when entering the domain. Seeing that, apart from her hair color, she hadn’t changed, they knew she must not have been caught in the Time Whirlpool.

"Why are you still here?" Ye Lifeng asked.

"I was waiting for you," Xuemo replied. If Luo Shu hadn’t told her about the rules of this place back then, she might have died already. She had stayed to thank Luo Shu in person.

Walking up to Luo Shu, Xuemo bowed and extended a Jade Box toward her. "Thank you for telling me about the rules here. My name is Xuemo, and I’m a disciple of the Magpie Mountain Sect. Inside this Jade Box are two Time Stones—I insist you accept them." The Time Stones were her most precious possessions, and she had only managed to find four this time.

"Alright!" Luo Shu didn’t stand on ceremony, accepting the Jade Box. Time Stones were of little use to her now; taking them was simply a way to avoid becoming entangled with a sect disciple. Now, they owed each other nothing.

Seeing Luo Shu accept it, Xuemo felt genuinely pleased. "Are you leaving now?"

Ye Lifeng nodded with a smile. "Senior Sister, when was the last time we saw one another?" He already had a sense of the answer, but he wanted confirmation. Perhaps one day, he could return here again with Brother Lu and the others.

Xuemo was slightly surprised but answered nonetheless, "It should’ve been about ten days ago."

Ye Lifeng clapped his hands in excitement, turning to Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo. "Brother Lu, Sister-in-Law, shall we return here together someday if given the chance?" Only after leaving did he truly realize his good fortune.

"We’ll see if there’s a chance," Luo Shu replied with a smile. Starting today, the Heart of Time would only exist in the annals of the Time Prairie’s history.
