Chapter 1039: One Thousand and Thirty-Seven, Time Rules

Scanning the room, they saw that it wasn’t very large, consisting of just three rooms—precisely enough for them to stay in.

Noticing a pile of modules on the table, Lu Hanmo walked over and started examining them.

Seeing this, Luo Shu also approached, carefully studying the modules on the table. "These are Formation modules."

Lu Hanmo nodded. "These modules aren’t placed randomly. It looks like some sort of deductive formation, perhaps related to the exit." With his level of Formation expertise, he couldn’t discern the direction of this deductive formation, which spoke volumes about the arranger’s mastery.

Luo Shu meticulously examined it again and nodded in agreement. "That person just now said that the people staying here went out to search for the way. Perhaps they’ve already deduced the location of the exit." She believed that since they had managed to arrive here, there must certainly be a way out.

"I think if we can understand the rules in this place, we should be able to find the way out," Lu Hanmo said. From the moment they entered, he had felt the Daoist rhyme of Time Rules permeating the space.

"I think so too," Luo Shu agreed.

Yun Han and the other two walked over. Upon seeing the modules on the table, they were somewhat surprised. "What is this?"

"Why does it look a bit like building blocks?"

"These are Formation modules. We can use them to deduce the exit," Luo Shu explained.

"You mean we can still get out of here?" Ye Lifeng asked with some excitement. After seeing so many powerful beings trapped here, he had already given up hope of leaving.

"What, you plan to stay here forever?" Luo Shu smiled at Ye Lifeng. Originally, he could have stayed uninvolved, yet he had chosen to follow them here.

Ye Lifeng quickly shook his head. "Of course not! This place is so dull, staying here would drive me insane." If there truly were no way out, he’d have no choice, but he wasn’t keen on that idea at all.

"Actually, being able to come here is a rare opportunity. Before we find the exit, we can study the Time Rules contained in this space. If we can grasp them, they could greatly benefit us," Lu Hanmo said.

"Didn’t Senior Qingshan say the time here differs from that outside? Let’s take advantage of this and train hard. Maybe when we leave, we can also advance to Divine King level, like those seniors."

"Since we’re already here, let’s make the most of this opportunity." The group was composed of optimistic individuals. When they had entered, they were mentally prepared for death. Now that they didn’t need to make that sacrifice and could train instead, they felt they should be grateful.

After chatting for a bit, they each returned to their rooms. Since they couldn’t leave for now, they decided to focus on the present. With more time at their disposal here than in the outside world, this was an incredible opportunity for them.

Back in their room, after setting up a Formation, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo brought their two babies out of their spatial space. With them emerged the Dragon Queen, Xiao Qing, and Long Jing. The Time Rules here would benefit them as well.

"Daddy! Mommy! What is this place?" The little brother, after sensing the Immortal Spirit Energy in the space, asked. At nearly six years old, he and his little sister had recently broken through to Golden Immortal level after training in the Heavenly Water, formally becoming members of the Immortal Realm. Due to their innate spiritual bodies, even without passing through the Ascension Hall, no one would notice their ascension.

"This is the Time Country. Can you feel it? It seems like there are flows of Daoist rhyme relating to time."

The little brother and little sister immediately closed their eyes, carefully perceiving it.

After some time, the two opened their eyes in delight.

"I felt it! Those Daoist rhymes are like flying swords. Some can be caught, while others move so fast they’re impossible to even see clearly," the little brother described his sensation.

"I felt the same as my brother," the little sister nodded in agreement.

Luo Shu affectionately ruffled their hair, then turned to the Dragon Queen. "Dragon Queen, have you heard of this place before?"

The Dragon Queen nodded. "I’ve heard legends about the Heart of Time. It is said to be one of the Twelve Elemental Stones created at the dawn of existence. Each of the Twelve Elemental Stones is said to contain a Small World. However, no one has ever seen these stones, let alone obtained one."

"Are you saying the Elemental Stones can also be bonded with?" Luo Shu asked, surprised.

"That’s what the legends claim. But bonding with an Elemental Stone isn’t simple. It has to willingly submit to you," the Dragon Queen explained. Possessing an Elemental Stone was the ultimate dream of countless individuals, and the Four Great Families had never ceased their search for them.

Luo Shu nodded in understanding. She didn’t expect to be so lucky as to obtain an Elemental Stone. But with the opportunity presenting itself, of course, she’d make the effort. Even if she failed, at least she would have tried.

After a brief discussion, they all closed their eyes and began cultivating. The Time Rules differed from Immortal Spirit Energy; they could only be harnessed through comprehension. Whether in the spatial space or the Chaotic World, Time Rules did not exist. As a result, food placed within these spaces remained unchanged no matter how long they stayed there.

As Luo Shu entered her cultivation state, golden small flying swords began to surround her. Just as the little brother had described, some of these Time Flying Swords moved slowly enough to catch, while others, like lightning, vanished the moment they came into view.

Extending her hand, she caught one of the slower swords. Immediately, she sensed a faint flow of time—so clear that she focused intently on it. But before she could fully grasp it, the flow dissipated from her palm in an instant.

Reaching out again, she caught another sword. As soon as it touched her hand, it too vanished as quickly as the previous one.
