"Is that what the waitress told you?" Everyone’s gaze converged on Sister Li at once.

Sister Li nodded and repeated to everyone what Xiao Jin had just told her. She didn’t know what Xiao Jin had done, but she knew that Xiao Jin was in for trouble now.

"Why would that young girl do that? She made a mistake but pushed the blame on us," Aunt Chen said, somewhat angrily. Initially, given the girl’s young age, she didn’t want to fuss over it, but it was one thing for her not to admit her mistake, quite another to blame them for it all—that was really going too far.

"We must have an explanation for this matter," Zhao Aishu said, also somewhat angry.
