SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 79 - 77
Chapter 79: Chapter 77
In the onlookers’ eyes, what they all saw was Diamond, who was being kind enough to help Eliza from the floor while Eliza was just being prideful and looking hatefully at Diamond.
"She is indeed a bad egg."
"If I were her mother, I would have locked her up and taught her a lesson."
"Let this be a lesson."
"But guys, aren’t you curious about how she fell?"
"Even if we are. Who will answer us?"
Since Diamond was already on the floor and she had completely pissed Eliza off to the fullest, she would seem unruly if she didn’t help Eliza.
So, under everyone’s eyes, she struggled as she tried to overturn Eliza so that she was at least facing up.
Diamond cussed under her breath as she failed to do that. Eliza just felt so heavy that it was even scary for Diamond herself.
Seeing her struggling, several agents finally came to help her and with a few tries, Eliza finally successfully was off the ground.
However, she couldn’t talk as she continued to glare at Diamond without even showing her gratitude.
Seeing that Eliza was off the floor and had her back covered by a shawl since the dress had been torn when she fell.
Diamond looked politely at the ladies who had her shopping bags and said, "I think I am done here. May I please have my bags?"
Seeing such a rich and cool lady speaking very politely and respectfully to the staff, all kind eyes were on her while hateful ones were directed at Eliza.
Wanting to defend herself and also ask Dimond questions as to who she really was, she raised her hand and pointed her finger at Diamond, but the words couldn’t come out.
"Stop it! Aren’t you embarrassed enough?" a male gentle voice suddenly sounded in an outburst incurring Diamond’s curiosity as she turned to the door to check which newcomer the other was.
Eliza saw the person who was scolding her again and began to cry. Why was everyone bullying her when her opponent was busy switching between a white lotus and a green tea bitch.
’How could I let him see me like this?’ she lamented inwardly, as she felt like really disappearing this time.
Diamond’s brows cocked upon seeing Eliza’s weird reaction towards the newcomer, who happened to be a young man with a good face. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the visage that she liked, so he didn’t interfere with her that much.
Judging from the way Eliza was acting after seeing the man, Diamond could guess that Eliza had a secret crush on the other, but judging by the guy’s actions, it didn’t seem to be reciprocated in the least.
Curious about what the young man wanted to do to rescue the damsel in distress, Diamond remained standing as she waited patiently to see where all of that was going.
The young man took large strides towards Eliza, with whom he wiped her tears gently like an elder brother first before looking at her with an indifferent expression on his face, though Diamond could see the blazing fury hidden within his eyes.
"I am very sorry for my little sister’s misdeeds. This sister, please forgive her and let her off this once!" the young man apologetically said, as he looked solemnly at Diamond.
Diamond and everyone else could see that the young man wanted Diamond to drop the issue and offer each other a way out, and that was exactly what she wanted at that very moment.
Since she had passed the message she wanted to Eliza, she felt that there was no reason for her to stay long.
As for what Eliza would do next, that would depend on whether they would find her first. With Andrea there to shield her from any prying eyes, she wasn’t afraid of being mischievous at all.
Smiling kindly like a saint, making her radiant as if some halo was behind her, she smilingly said to the young man, "It’s okay. We all make mistakes in life, and I am glad that she has a caring brother like you," although it wasn’t clear to what she meant with what she had said.
Eliza glared at Diamond as she pulled the young man’s sleeve, but the other simply tapped her hand, making Eliza behave instantly.
"Thank you for understanding. And if you don’t mind, can I buy you a meal as an apology?" the young man asked politely.
How could Diamond be willing to send herself into an unknown tiger’s den like that?
"I am afraid that is not possible. I still have a few errands to run, but if we meet again in the future, I will remind you of that meal!"
Seeing that he wouldn’t be able to win the pretty woman that had caught his interest from the moment he saw her, he decided to not push too much. As he was afraid that he might be labeled as a bully.
Eliza had already embarrassed them enough and if he were to be pushy, he was afraid that the loss would be huge.
"That’s fine then, and sorry once again for everything," he said politely as he looked at Diamond and then the shop’s attendants before looking at Eliza, "let’s go home!" ordering her in a non-negotiable tone.
Diamond smiled faintly as she watched Eliza and the young man leave the shop with the several shopping bags that Eliza had acquired during her humiliating shopping spree.
"Finally, they are gone!"
"But who is that young man? He looks damn fine."
"I bet that those two aren’t siblings."
"We all know, but does it even matter?"
"I applaud him, though. He was so courageous to come out and save her from the embarrassing situation. If it was me, I would have pretended to not know her at all."
"That’s true, and it gets me curious about his identity."
With all the commotion that was happening, Diamond got her shopping bags and finally left the shop with a smile on her face as if she hadn’t spent more than an hour having a showdown with someone.
Seeing her passing, they all opened a passage for her.
Just because she was pretty didn’t mean that she was easy to bully. That’s what everyone learned, and they were afraid to provoke such a person.
As she left the mall, a lot of curious people glanced at her, but luckily, no one caused trouble for her.
And that was a huge relief, for she had enough drama for one day.
