Diamond’s heart couldn’t help but excitedly race when she saw the envelope. Envelopes do tend to carry something meaningful. She was excited to see what it was.

Regina didn’t keep Diamond guessing for a long time as she pushed the envelope towards Diamond, saying, "I have been given this chance to pass this envelope to you. It’s from the club." And dint share much after that.

Diamond accepted the envelope and pursed her lips when she saw the logo on the envelope. It looked pretty with all the waves and the sun which was about to set. It made her feel as if she was seeing the ocean.

"It’s not a problem. Just doing my duty."

"Do you know what might be inside?"

"Since you haven’t participated in the initiation ceremony yet. I think that it has all the information that you need to know, as well as the temporary membership card you can use before you receive a formal one," Regina generously shared.

"Okay. That makes sense. I guess I will see what’s really in there later. Do you know where we are meeting this year?" Diamond asked curiously.

"The places always differ. I guess we should be receiving the location around July somewhere there to give us time to prepare for the travels," Regina doubtfully responded. After all, the location wasn’t known until the other half of the year.

Diamond accepted that reason and chatted with Regina for a bit more.

The two exchanged business cards and promised to work with each other in the future. Once the talks were done, Regina respectfully sent off Diamond and left her in the safe hands of her security team.

Regina watched smilingly as Diamond left the floor before she entered the office with Gio tailing her.

"How did it go?"

"Better than I expected. It’s not that scary talking to her. Such a lovely young girl!" Regina couldn’t help but praise Diamond.frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

Gio wasn’t expecting that. He looked astonished at Regina briefly before calming himself down.

"Then that’s good."

"Um. Withdraw the men. If she finds out, I am afraid that I might lose more than I can manage," Regina instructed Gio, recalling the spies she had placed around Diamond.

"I will do so, and Agatha?" Gio asked.

Regina tapped the desk rhythmically as she thought about the young girl, who was very good and a good seedling.

"Just let nature take its course. Let her choose what she wants. Also, send her an incentive. She had worked hard," Regina responded seriously.

"I will have that arranged."

Regina nodded as she looked at Gio and said, ’Also, check the auction item list and make sure that everything is perfect. We can’t afford any mistakes."

"That will be taken care of as well."

She was very glad to hear that and couldn’t help but think about Diamond’s a capable assistant. Who was that person?

That suddenly became a mystery that Regina would spend years trying to figure out, but to no avail.

Meanwhile, Diamond, after parting with Regina, returned to her suite filled with excitement at what she was about to see.

When she got to her room, she locked it and skipped to the bedroom, where she kicked off her heels and jumped on the bed without removing the expensive gown that left a lot of people in awe.

"Let’s see what we have here!" she mused as she tore off the envelope and revealed what was inside.

There was a small book, a well-crafted and designed card, which she believed was the temporary card and an invitation card.

She started with the invitation card.

After reading the invitation card, her eyes lit up as she found the country mentioned very familiar. That was the country where Gael was currently living and working at the moment.

By November, Gael wouldn’t have moved completely to Athary. So, there were chances that she might meet him there as well.

She was excited at the thought of visiting another country and continent. Traveling more was truly a blessing.

After checking the invitation card, she went to check the temporary card but when she looked at it, a frown appeared on her face.

’Are all temporary cards this good?’ she couldn’t help but doubt as she looked at the card, which seemed as if diamonds and crystals had been added to it.

It was all black, but the shininess of the gems adorning the card made her wonder. On the card, there was the club’s logo as well as a string of numbers _ 0025 _ which made her wonder what that number actually meant.

Since she couldn’t figure it out, she decided to look at the small book, which was an information journal on the club. Everything that she needs to know, she would learn it there in advance.

Curious about what she might find, she started reading. Thankfully, the book was written in the universal language, making it easy for everyone to read and understand it.

The information basically introduced the history of the club and she was surprised when she saw that the club had been in existence since 1930. This year it will be the club’s 149th anniversary. An unknown person found the club. The information about that was blank. However, the club remained as strong as ever.

There were administrators who acted like managers. These people were in charge of managing the club and overseeing its operations.

It also revealed the information that Andrea told her about charity and the like. Oasis Club was an extension of family and, as a family, they all stand for each other and help each other in times of need.

Every single member was encouraged to form a club of her own. As for what purpose, that would be left to the member. That was done to gather loyal people who would serve the members. It was more like gathering soldiers for oneself. So, the members needed to be careful when selecting people who could join the club.

She was more interested in that part. She had always been thinking about starting a club. Just that she was so busy. Moreover, she still doesn’t have a single clue about what kind of club she wants to open. She will continue to take her time.

There was no pressure on the timeline of doing so, which worked well for Diamond.

As for the card she received, that was the genuine card and the shiny things were indeed crushed diamonds. The number on the card was her identity number. She was the twenty-fifth diamond member since the foundation of the Oasis Club, which was truly an honor.

The card could be used at any club’s establishments which the author didn’t mind sharing generously with her.

The club itself owned hotels, resorts, banks, casinos and the like. All that membership money paid to the club was invested in these establishments. When these establishments earn money in the future, the dividends will then be shared amongst the members and that was done every year during the galas.

As members, when visiting these establishments except for the casinos and banks, the members could stay there for free for at most five days. That privilege only goes to the members and no other people.

The member just needs to flash the card at the reception and someone will help her generously.

The other things weren’t written but what she should know was well written there, which saved her a lot of energy when it came to curiosity.

After reading the book, she stashed it in the storage ring and climbed down from the bed to put her club card in her card holder. She couldn’t let the card be hidden. It was too pretty to be hidden.

Once she was done, she started cleaning up. Took off the gown and put it in its bag. It would need some washing later.

After getting rid of the jewelry and storing them perfectly, she took a well-needed bath and felt refreshed.

She changed into a cool nightwear before getting on the bed with her tablet to check on the results of the ongoing event.

When she checked what was happening, a smile blossomed on her face, finding everyone’s enthusiasm very encouraging.

The battle was still on for the five countries which were very scattered on five continents. She felt sorry for the other continent which wasn’t chosen, but that was life.

Life was never fair to begin with.
