Chapter 764: Chapter 762: LEAVING FOR AMBER CITY

A day before departing for Amber City, Diamond was so busy that she didn’t have time to look at any of her business emails that day.

Since she hadn’t prepared for the trip because of forgetting, she had to make plans the day before and luckily, she had Andrea to assist her.

Diamond booked a suite at the Crescent Hotel where the dinner would be held and didn’t forget to book rooms for her security detail.

She also communicated with Admire, who informed her about the pill intake. After she told him about the trip, Admire suggested for part of the security detail to go to Amber City first and prepare for her arrival.

Diamond didn’t object to that and sent the necessary funds for them to leave.

After dealing with that, she started looking into the host, Regina Williams. When she received the invitation from the system some time ago, she had Andrea look into her, but then she got so busy, she ended up forgetting about the matter completely. So now, she had to see what the other party was all about.

When she received the invitation, she wasn’t that too popular. There should be a reason why she was invited, right?

"Andy, give me all the information on Regina Williams!"

{Sure, right away!} Andrea readily agreed, which meant that he already had the information stored somewhere in his database.

Moments later, Diamond received a file which she excitedly opened, filled with anticipation of the secrets it holds.

"Oh~ what is this?" after reading Regina’s profile, Diamond exclaimed surprisingly, her brows rising and eyes widened.

{Hehe, it seems that you will be sisters!} Andrea chuckled teasingly, making Diamond chuckle as well as she read the information.

Regina was an acquaintance that she hadn’t met yet, but the other party seemed to know her. Why, one might ask? And the answer was in plain sight _ Oasis Club.

A very long time ago, Diamond received a diamond membership from this all-female club. It is a global secret club which considers the members’ net assets worth first before anything else.

To be qualified to join this club, one would need to have one billion worth of assets in the country of residence. So, by becoming a billionaire, whether secretly or publicly, you find yourself on the club’s radar.

It was not a club for the ordinary people.

The entry requirements were pretty harsh, and a member needed to have at least net assets worth one billion of the country that she was living in to be eligible to be part of the club.

This is the criteria for the silver members and they had to contribute at least ten million to the cause of the club.

Gold members had to surpass that one billion and have over ten billion worth of assets and contributions would be doubled and so forth.

Lastly, the diamond members, it was over one hundred billion and if looking at the universal dollar; the members needed to be billionaires in that aspect.

Those without money wouldn’t even know about this club. Even those with money, a lot of connections, recommendations and luck would be required to be part of the club.

When it comes to being rich, not that she was bragging, but Diamond was very rich. Apart from the billions she has in her companies and bank accounts in Atharian dollars. There was still the billion she hadn’t touched in her GENESIS bank account, where she recently took out a billion to construct her dream ancestral house.

If she were to convert that billion into her country’s currency, then she would be worth much more.

Returning to Regina Williams, she recently joined the club just last year and since it’s a secret club, no one knows about it.

One of the perquisites of being part of this club was the charitable mind, though she wasn’t sure if they were doing that for the goodness of mankind or to create a good image for the public. But either way, as long as the money and aid help the targets, then Diamond didn’t care much.

Since they both belonged to the same club, Diamond no longer needed to worry about Regina anymore. However, her interest in the club she nearly forgot about was piqued. So, she had Andrea look into them.

{Mother, from what I have found about the club, they meet once annually and during that meeting, all new members will be welcomed into the family. The members will share tasks and share whatever progress or setbacks they have faced during that particular year.

I can’t seem to find the information on who started the club, but it’s been there for ages. However, as long as I keep on spying on the surrounding people who have been part of the club for a long time, I will definitely find something.}

"Hehe, don’t bother to do so. Since the club managed to maintain its secrecy for a long time, it means whoever created it is not to be trifled with. Let us not risk getting found out, okay?" Diamond softly advised Andrea against it.

Ever since she received the system, she had a feeling that this world wasn’t as simple as it was. There were a lot of crouching tigers and hidden dragons everywhere. Perhaps there were people like her, favored and blessed by the deities. She didn’t want to poke a hornet’s nest.

She wasn’t that strong yet.

{Okay, I won’t continue to do so but mother, do you still remember talking about forming your own club before?} Suddenly, Andrea reminded her of that matter.

Diamond scratched her head sheepishly as that certain memory flooded her mind.

"Let’s talk about it another time. Right now, I have so much to do. I can’t afford to think of doing anything new!" she outrightly rejected though.

That energy! She didn’t have. She might as well focus on the current schedules that haven’t been done yet.

After checking that, she started preparing for the clothes for the trip. She planned to stay in Amber City for a few days before returning. There were still plenty of things that she needed to do in Frin City.

Before resting for the day that night, Diamond sent Garnet a message, remembering another chore she had almost forgotten again.

The next day, she woke up pretty much early, wore her sportswear, started a broadcast and took a morning jog. It’s been a day or so since she interacted with the fans, but a very long time since she promoted the brand she was endorsing.

After the morning jog, she took a shower, put on a robe and went downstairs, where she enjoyed a hearty breakfast of millet porridge with fresh milk.

After breakfast, she returned to her bedroom, where she changed into a summer dress, a pair of sandals and glasses.

She picked a large brim hat from the closet to wear later and added a few more things before she was done.

When she went downstairs, it was already around 8 am and Admire was already waiting for her.

"Good morning, boss!" he greeted her respectfully, with a glint of worship in her eyes which made her think about the body-strengthening pills she gave him previously.

"Good morning, Admire. I hope that everything is well and ready!"

"Yes. Everything is in order!"

"That’s good!" she relievedly said as she passed the suitcase over to him.

With only a small handbag and a small briefcase with the drone in, Diamond walked towards the SUV and the driver opened the door for her. She got into the car and moments later, Admire joined in as well.

When everyone was on board, the car glided away from the compound, driving towards the airport she had just left a few days ago.

On the way, Diamond wasn’t all quiet but busy getting a report from Admire.

"Everyone has settled down in Amber City and I have a list of people that you might be interested in who are already staying at the hotel so far."

When she heard that, her interest was piqued, she had Admire pass her the tablet to have a look.

When she saw the list, her brows rose as she wondered what kind of dinner event was going to this time.

"I also heard that there will be a charity auction on the 23rd. It seems that some of these guests are there for the auction."

After she heard about the auction, Diamond nodded, thinking to herself that it made sense more.

After all, some of these big names she was seeing wouldn’t just happen to be starving to travel such distances to have a meal.
