"I am pretty nervous!" a young girl wearing a red t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans nervously spoke as she looked in the direction where a lot of people were coming from.

Next to her were several girls and boys holding banners and wearing the same red t-shirt as hers.

"Be at ease. Why are you nervous?"

"How can she be not nervous? I am also nervous!"

"I still can’t believe that in a few moments, we will be seeing her!"

"It’s a dream come true!"

This group was busy excitedly chatting with each other, happiness and nervousness filling them.

They were the fans who came to pick Diamond and the others up at the airport in Country Y.

The group didn’t wait for a very long time, as they spotted the group of bodyguards who came with them walking towards the terminal. Upon seeing that, they quickly spotted the person that they were anxiously waiting for and they were all filled with excitement.

Coming towards them was Diamond, who was dressed casually, wearing a pair of black jeans and a blue JEWEL t-shirt. Following her were six other girls wearing a variety of JEWEL t-shirts and with a glance, the group of fans knew instantly that Diamond didn’t come alone.

On the other hand, Diamond was very excited to see the group of fans she would be spending a few days with while in Country Y.

It felt awesome being able to meet people who loved her and being able to do something for them, even though she was representing millions of people by doing so.

In order to live freely in Country Y, Diamond used her polyglot language skills and acquired her second language out of ten. She was fluent in the country’s Y language and didn’t need an interpreter.

"Welcome to Country Y, Ms. Diamond. I am Hamidi, your Chief Bodyguard, while you are here in the country," a very masculine man with a scar on his right face humbly said in the native language as he welcomed Diamond.

However, hearing Hamidi speaking in his vernacular, the six superfans who followed Diamond and the ten other fans who were waiting for her couldn’t help but sweat coldly, wondering what that man was doing.

After all, Diamond wouldn’t possibly understand the language, right?

However, Diamond proved that she had a talent for surprising people at unexpected times.

Diamond looked at the man she had interacted with briefly online and nodded her head, responding in the same language, "The pleasure is mine. Please take care of us during this period. As long as I am satisfied, you will not be forgotten!"

Hamidi beamed when he heard that and readily promised not to let Diamond and the team down.

After meeting with the security team, Diamond finally met the group of fans who worked tirelessly for this chance affectionately.

They introduced themselves one by one and the person who still caught her eye was fan number 0085 on the GEM app. The one who touched everyone’s hearts by the posts she sent during the voting period.

Her name was Makena, meaning happy one, and she came with her two best friends named Bisa and Zuri. There were also seven other fans and amongst the ten, there were only three males.

After getting to know everyone, the whole group made its way out of the airport, attracting a lot of attention along the way.

Diamond even spotted a few people holding those professional cameras and couldn’t help but wonder who were they recording.

Anyway, after leaving the airport, there were two minibuses and four SUVs for the bodyguards.

The group of ten took the minibus that they came with and Diamond’s group took the other one.

The entourage left the airport in such an extravagant manner and took three hours on the road before reaching the hotel where they would be staying.

When they got there, Diamond was taken to the room that she had booked. With the number being sixteen fans, she booked seven rooms for them. With each room having two people and two other rooms having three people.

As for herself, she had a room to herself and didn’t need to share.

They arrived in Country Y in the afternoon and reached the hotel in the evening. Everyone was tired and to adjust to jet lag, Diamond didn’t have any plans with the fans that night. Everyone had to take a rest, but before doing so, they all gathered in the restaurant after an hour of arrival and ate dinner.

After dinner, Diamond gathered the other ten fans and gave them the gifts that she had brought for them. Since it was a fan event, Diamond brought everyone two t-shirts, a diary, and a pen with the JEWEL brand. They would be wearing the t-shirts during their activities.

Once that was done, Diamond left the group to rest.

With Diamond gone, the sixteen fans didn’t feel like resting but decided to take that chance to know each other and so forth.

Despite the language barrier, the sixteen of them got along pretty well. Took a lot of pictures, posted them and even tagged each other. They made those who couldn’t witness all that in person to be envious. Fortunately, there would be a broadcast the following day.

The night passed quickly, and a new day arrived.

Diamond woke up early, wore her sportswear, turned on one drone and went for a morning jog while broadcasting.

The fans who hadn’t heard much from Diamond were very ecstatic, seeing that she was doing well and during that morning broadcast, Diamond took that chance to share the itinerary of the day.

"Today, after breakfast, we shall be going to the largest wholesale distributor where we shall be buying food, general items, blankets and the like.

Although we can’t help with the medicine and anything healthcare-related, what we can do is provide them with food to pad their bellies.

While we are at it, let me share the total funds raised by all the fans who participated in the GEM app related to this project. The JEWELS managed to raise a total of A$258,890 and if we convert it to the country Y’s currency, we have a total of Y$906,115. We have nearly a million and it can do a lot.

So, join us later and let’s all see what it’s like spending so much money in a day!" she teasingly said as she continued to jog.

The inflation rate quite surprised her and what the exchange rate between the two countries was like. She just hoped, though, that the money would be enough to buy everything that was needed.

She had taken a look at the information on the places that they were going to donate. She even has the complete number of families who survived. The number of males and females. So, she knew exactly what she needed.

It was just a matter of whether the money would be enough or not enough.

The good thing about everything was that she had Andrea communicate with the mayor and the government officials in charge of that place. This whole project was more official and knowing how much those people love fame, they would be appearing on the news one way or the other.

After the morning jog, she returned to the hotel room where she cleaned up and changed into a golden t-shirt and paired it with a pair of white shorts which reached above her knees.

She put on Pace sneakers and took out a tote bag in which she put some toiletries and other things that she might need during the day.

Once she was done, she activated both drones and started the broadcast once again.

This time, the fans were more prepared and hurriedly rushed to see what was going on.

Diamond left her room and met up with the other fans. They all had breakfast together and after that, they left on a coach bus instead of the minibuses which they used yesterday.

On their way to the wholesale distributor, Diamond chatted with the online audience to keep them entertained. At the same time, she also talked about the results of the poll votes regarding the splitting of platforms and the results were to split.

"Since we will be splitting, I will share my two cents with you. Previously, I mentioned that this public project would benefit Frin City first since I live there and I am still on it.

However, instead of focusing on Frin alone, I also think that we should pick several other cities despite the countries to make it fair.

Once all the cities are picked, we will then do another vote and see which city gets which funds from where."

The fans didn’t complain much about that. After all, doing that was fair, and they were going in blind. It would be quite interesting as well.
