Looking at the pile of clothes that Diamond had taken, Eliza scoffed mockingly as she thought of how she would be humiliating her just a moment after she won.

Although she was going to be spending a lot of her allowance in a shop that didn’t deserve it. To maintain her reputation and face, she was willing to empty her coffers.

She had never been the kind that got humiliated or lost, but the one that always won. So, she was absolutely confident that she was going to win again this time, and she couldn’t wait.

However, what she didn’t anticipate was how low-key the person she was dealing with was.

Diamond owned several assets worth millions of dollars while excluding the secret account, with hundreds of millions waiting to be used and now having shares in a multinational company worth billions of dollars. Diamond was untouchable.

Unfortunately, Eliza didn’t know of that. Since she couldn’t recognize Vertah’s clothes with a glance, how could she even guess that?

Diamond finished picking the clothes that she wanted, which she kept high-end and expensive.

To beat Eliza and humiliate her in front of the crowd, Diamond was willing to spend money. The feeling of shopping was a great one, and what would be wrong with spending her money again?

"I want to pay!" Diamond informed the lady at the till, seeing that there was nothing anymore that she wanted in the shop.

Upon hearing that, Eliza, who was contemplating a certain expensive dress that would lower her balance even further, instantly picked it up.

Since she wanted to win, she decided to go all out.

Swaying her body towards the counter, Eliza, who was so egoistic as to not see how much everyone didn’t like her, began to mock Diamond, whose clothes were being counted.

"It would be embarrassing if you failed to pay that money! Maybe you should have brought your sugar daddies along to help you!"

Diamond didn’t respond to Eliza but kept looking at the ever-increasing bill on the screen with a smile on her face.

"You should just accept your loss at this stage. The clothes I have taken out are worth nearly one hundred thousand dollars. Are you sure that you can beat that?" Eliza, being herself, asked smugly as she spread her feathers like a peacock, seeking attention.

Upon hearing that figure, Diamond, who had not paid for the most expensive clothes she had taken with her, suddenly raised her hand to stop the lady at the counter. Her actions greatly shocked the onlookers.

"What’s wrong girl? Scared already!" Eliza jeered upon seeing Diamond stopping the lady from doing her job.

However, Diamond had another cruel twist for her. "I am not afraid of you, but I just thought of something. Since we are having a competition now, why don’t we do this at the same time? Won’t it be interesting that way?" as she suggested.

Eliza, upon hearing that, didn’t think far as what a normal and clever person would do. As her mind was only filled with beating the pompous woman who wanted to make her lose face, she automatically agreed, causing the sales agents to stifle their laughter. For they were looking forward to seeing Eliza suffering a loss and getting humiliated.

"Sure, let’s do it that way!" Eliza agreed for it didn’t seem wrong but very good.

Only when competing at the same time can it be comparable.

And since the two parties had agreed to compete, the other female agent began to serve Eliza at the same time as Diamond as well.

Everyone watched as small mountains started forming and the bills increased greatly.

With a few pieces of clothing remaining, Eliza was sweating. Her bill had already surpassed the expected figure, she thought, and that would mean that she would be broke for the entire month.

As she had purchased what she wanted earlier, she had used a lot of money and that had reduced her wallet greatly.

Looking at the several clothes that belonged to her competitor and seeing how their bills were neck to neck, she started having foreboding feelings.

And just as she was thinking of what to do, someone in the crowd suddenly asked, "Hey, since it’s a competition to buy clothes in that particular shop. How about we add the clothes that the lady in orange already bought before? If the other lady can beat her, then we can decide the winner. What do you think?"

"Aren’t you being a bit shameless about suggesting something like that?"

"What shamelessness? I just think that it’s not fair. After all, the other had already made a previous purchase."

Upon hearing that, a flash of inspiration hit her. Eliza looked at Diamond and shamelessly said, "The two bills will be counted as one. After all, I have bought everything in one shop!"

How could Diamond not understand Eliza’s way of thinking? However, when she thought of the huge face slap, she would give Eliza the new receipt added to the current one. She felt that doing what Eliza wanted was good. After all, no matter what scheme Eliza comes up with, she will emerge as the winner.

"I am fine with that. I just hope that you won’t regret it!" Diamond smirked at Eliza before encouraging the sales agent to move faster.

Eliza smugly looked at Diamond as if she had already won, and harrumphed before looking at her own bill, heartache eating her slowly and secretly inside.

The lady serving Eliza finally finished counting everything, and with a smile on her face, she politely told Eliza the bill, "Your total bill is A$111,450 and after a discount of 3%, you need to pay A$108,106."

When Eliza received the bill, she heaved a sigh of relief. She had somehow managed to save some money, which would push her for a while until she got her allowance.

Eliza turned to look at Diamond provocatively as she passed her bank card over. The same that had turned her into the state that she was currently in, in the first place, over to the cashier.

Diamond smiled back at Eliza, making Eliza so furious that she turned over to the cashier to let off some steam.

"Use this card and you better not play me as you did earlier. You can’t afford to piss me off!" she threatened as she glared at the woman.

The cashier simply took the card respectfully before completing the payment procedure.

Seeing that the bill had been paid in full with a single swipe, the spectators began to chat amongst themselves once more.

"Who do you think is going to win!?"

"If the pretty lady has the cash, then she will win with a landslide. That figure there has already surpassed the other by a huge margin!"

Eliza, done with her payment, was feeling so smug that she began to walk towards Diamond to personally witness with her eyes what was going to happen.

"Are you ready to become a loser?" Diamond asked dauntingly the second that Eliza arrived.
