Chapter 748: Chapter 746: JUST ANOTHER ORDINARY DAY – NOT

MUSE VISTA GALLERY

At that particular gallery, there was an ongoing exhibit, and several ladies and gentlemen were in attendance. All of them looked elegant and carried some air that made them look too knowledgeable.

There were all sorts of paintings hung on the walls, with these people admiring and chatting amongst themselves.

"Lady Helena had done it again! Did you see her new paintings?"

"I just passed by there. Damn! I don’t even have words to describe how I felt when I saw them."

"I am curious about who will be able to buy them now that they are on display?"

"There will be plenty of people. Don’t worry!"

Amongst this group of people were familiar people of the entertainment industry and among them were two faces that Diamond would find very familiar if she came across them; P and Anne.

These two were quite close and currently admiring Lady Helena’s paintings.

"Anne, will your family be buying any paintings this time?" P’s voice sounded faltering as she asked Anne.

Anne scowled as she looked at the paintings and answered, "I am not sure. You know how eccentric she is when it comes to buyers. Perhaps they already have a buyer and are just here for display!"

"But .... I bet that they should be selling for millions again. Wouldn’t they?" P’s voice rang, her tone sounding tone.

Anne turned around to look at P and smiled mysteriously at her, answering, "Who knows but does it matter? She will be getting paid for her hard work anyway!" before looking away after seeing the sour expression on P’s face.

Tsk. If it wasn’t that P was useful and knew how to flatter her a lot, she wouldn’t bother with her. But who made her mouth so sweet? As for her sourness, tche, if she doesn’t work hard, how does she expect to earn money in this life?

Relying on flattering others and men wouldn’t make anyone rich. It was better to work in earnest or, in many cases, be born in a good family.

Anyway, Anne continued to look at the paintings and ignored P’s petty thoughts. However, as she was busy enjoying and admiring the paintings, something happened.

"How ... how could she be here?" P’s voice rang in Anne’s ears, sounding a bit shrill, which forced her to turn her head angrily. However, when she looked in the direction where P was looking, her eyes couldn’t help but narrow, as a murderous glint flashed through them.

’Hehe! She just sent herself to my door!’ she sinisterly thought as she looked at the young woman who was attracting a lot of attention and looking better than she was the last time she saw her.

Meanwhile, the person in question had her eyes sparkling as she looked at the beautiful paintings hung on the wall.

"Essy, you really know your things, don’t you?" Diamond asked in a teasing tone as she looked at Essy, who was wearing a proud expression on her face.

She looked like a peacock trying to show off. She looked pretty cute.

Essy patted her chest in boast and answered to Diamond, "Um. It is very hard to get tickets to these kinds of exhibits. Since I have two, I thought of bringing you. I am glad to see that you like it!"

How could she not like it?

If she wasn’t mistaken, the gallery belonged to Lady Helena and the last time she was in the capital city, and still in a relationship, she was invited to an event where she saw Lady Helena making a speech.

She recalled that lady the second she saw the gallery. Last time she didn’t manage to see any of her works but now, she got the chance. So how could she not be so curious and happy?

Just how good were her paintings to make her so great?

Although Diamond still didn’t know how to appreciate art in an artistic way, she still knew what she liked and what she didn’t.

With that in mind, she was looking forward to seeing what other goodies were waiting for her in the gallery.

However, she never expected that the moment she stepped into the gallery, her artistic aura would attract attention and she would be recognized.

Unfortunately for them. She was here to admire the paintings and not entertain anyone, so she pretended like she saw no one and continued to chat with Essy.

"It’s been a while since I got a new painting!" Diamond said as she looked at the paintings, thinking about how it’s been a while since she got one.

The first batch of paintings was found when she saw the secret passages at the manor. She looted quite a lot of paintings and they were all sorted safely in her storage ring.

The only painting she bought was the one she got in Gesalsi simply because it reminded her of the Golden Space. As for its real meaning, who truly cared?

Wasn’t the interpretation of art left for the eyes of the ones admiring?

"Then, perhaps you can leave here with one. What kind of paintings are you looking for?"

Diamond scratched her chin as she looked around, eyes squinting, trying to look for anything that might interest her, and answered, "It should catch my eye. I don’t really care much about the kind!"

Essy chuckled when she heard that and responded amusedly, "Hehe, you are just like me," feeling as if she had found a bosom friend.

The two of them were in sync and resonating with each other on the same wavelength, but just because they were like that didn’t mean that others were like them.

"Tche ... doesn’t your words mean that you are just dead brains who know nothing?" suddenly, from nowhere, a malicious voice sounded, forcing the two friends who were having fun to look towards that direction dumbfoundedly, both thinking to themselves, ’who did we offend?’

However, when Anne saw the person who just spoken, a glint of nervousness flicked in her eyes as she felt her lips quivering.

’How come this person is here? This is bad!’ she thought nervously, as she turned to look at Diamond. However, when she looked at Diamond, she froze for a moment before panic flooded her upon seeing the playful smile tugging on Diamond’s lips.

That wasn’t a good sign!

Diamond didn’t expect that of all places in the big city, she would end up coming across people she didn’t even want to see.

In just two days, she bumped into P twice. Were they that fated?

She wondered as she tilted her head, looking at Anne, who left a sour taste in her mouth the last time she saw the other.

They didn’t even know each other and yet in order to have an upper hand on whatever she thought about, Anne and her friends dared to mock her, thinking that she was a pushover.

She was with Vivian back then and they were so bold to look down on Vivian as well. What kind of people were these?

Fortunately, she wasn’t one to fear anyone who didn’t bring food to her table.

The last time they met, she won over Anne with a landslide. She couldn’t help but wonder how the other would embarrass herself on this day, considering that she had already opened her mouth.

Diamond followed a simple principle when it came to manners; not seeking trouble as much as necessary. It didn’t mean that she would let other people bully her.

She would fight with everything that she had until she wins. Whether righteously or maliciously. What mattered was winning.

"Tche .... Your mouth is still uncouth like before. I thought that you changed!" Diamond clicked her tongue disappointedly as she looked at Anne, without putting P in her eyes at all.

When Essy heard that, her eyes nearly popped out as her palms felt sweaty with all the nervousness. What was Diamond doing?

P, on the other hand, was very shocked. She didn’t think that these two knew each other at all. Listening to the tones of the two, she could tell that these two weren’t friendly at all. But when did they become enemies?

Anyway, it didn’t matter when that happened. What mattered to her was bringing Diamond on her pedestal. She needed a bit of beating to cool down.

"You_" Anne’s body shook with anger as she pointed at Diamond, her eyes red and steam coming out of her ears. "How dare you?" she asked angrily, wishing that she could deal with the other party cruelly.

Diamond’s lips rose into a sneer as she folded her arms while looking at Anne with a mocking expression and said, "Who do you think you are? Does this place belong to you or your family? Just because other people lick your ass doesn’t mean that everyone else will. Don’t just try to bully others, just because you assume they are weaker than you!" putting Anne in her place and wasn’t taking her seriously at all.

Who made Anne look like a fool?
