Chapter 740: Chapter 738: RADIANCE MANOR 8

After the handshake ceremony, they parted hands and Diamond said to Essy, "I hope that you don’t mind but I am in the middle of broadcasting LIVE right now," not wanting to hide that matter from Essy lest she had complaints.

When Essy heard that, honestly, she was shocked at first before calming down as a wave of excitement washed over her.

As a JEWEL, she knew about Diamond’s antics. When she is broadcasting, those who didn’t know her, wouldn’t even know. Her drones were top-notch, and knew how to be invisible. She didn’t think that the other would be broadcasting, but even if that was the case, she was still happy.

Not only did she meet with her idol, but she also managed to gain popularity. The fans liked things. Whatever Diamond liked, they tend to go and take a look. She had an inkling that her followers by the end of the day would see a sharp increase. And surely, she was right.

At that moment, the fans were busy asking about Essy’s identity and those who knew her had shared her information already. Essy’s social media accounts were already getting some attention.

"I don’t mind. Besides, I am also in this kind of industry," Essy happily shared about her like of work and Diamond was relieved seeing Essy being so forthright, which made it easy for her to engage in conversations.

With the two being in familiar lines of work, they began to chat merrily, wowing the viewers who had never seen Diamond chatting that much before. The stars in her eyes made the fans feel at ease.

With how rich Diamond was, the fans were afraid of her leaving the industry and never showing up again. However, seeing that sparkle in her eyes, they were finally at ease.

The two chatted merrily as they returned to the front and when they got there, several guests had already shown up. And amongst them was P, whom Diamond wished to be gone but considering the fact that she was invited already. Diamond couldn’t chase the other party away lest she return the favor.

While Diamond thought like that, P wasn’t at all easy upon seeing Diamond at the event she got painstakingly. It wasn’t easy for her to snatch that resource at all. To think that she would be facing with Diamond she noticed the other day in the mall, P, regretted it but since she was already here, what more could she do?

Why did these people invite someone from Frin City when there were so many people from the capital city?

Unfortunately, asking that would only offend the superiors. And who knows if Diamond was broadcasting right now? What if she exposed herself, attracted hate from the black fans and suffered badly in the end?

Thinking like that, she couldn’t help but shudder and warned herself to not provoke Diamond lest she was really broadcasting. She couldn’t afford the consequences. She wasn’t like Diamond, who didn’t rely on these fans for a living.

When Diamond saw the changes on P’s face, she scoffed inwardly but didn’t outrightly show it. Although she didn’t like P right now, she didn’t suffer any grievances yet. Besides, she overpriced Kisha previously and her heart was soothed.

As long as P doesn’t provoke her, Diamond wouldn’t make a move. With that in mind, she continued to chat with Essy as they both made their way to where the remaining invited guests were gathered.

When they got there, Hilary became the bridge who introduced everyone to each other.

Diamond was truly eye-catching, be it the clothes, jewelry or her visuals. She wasn’t the kind of person that could be ignored.

Besides attending such an event, even those who didn’t like Diamond for different reasons could only smile generously. Never hit a smiling person, they said.

After all the introductions were done, the opening ceremony started.

The ceremony wasn’t that extravagant, to be honest, but those who should be there attended.

"Thank you for coming and attending the opening ceremony of Radiance Manor ....." Hilary was very articulate when it came to speaking and he addressed everyone smoothly. Even Diamond was satisfied with how smooth he was.

That was a gift that Diamond lacked. She was hot-tempered and at times found herself exploding if people asked the wrong questions.

There were several reporters who were happy to capture the moment and to cut the ribbon, everyone participated, marking the official opening of the manor.

Once that was done, they started receiving the tour of the manor. Diamond put a lot of effort rather, Andrea did, though it was her money that was used back then.

The villas were extraordinary and full of luxury. Everyone was satisfied, and pictures were taken. However, when it came to the middle villa, which happened to belong to Diamond, the guests were indignant upon learning that they couldn’t view it.

But Hilary kept his stance as he politely informed the guests as well as the reporters who came to the opening ceremony.

"I am very sorry, but it’s not for viewing. That belongs exclusively to the manor’s owner. Consider it as a private home. So, we can’t really show you!"

When the guests heard that, they wore understanding expressions on their faces, though they were quite unwilling.

Essy couldn’t help but pull Diamond’s elbow while whispering, "Aren’t you curious about who the owner is?" curiosity tinged in her tone.

Diamond chuckled faintly upon hearing that and looked at Essy with doting before answering, "Does it really matter who the owner is?"

Essy pursed her lips when she heard that and turned to look at Diamond sulkily before answering, "I am just curious who is so rich to afford to make such a place!"

"Haha, whoever that person is, did a good job! Although there are few villas, it’s a place where one can live peacefully without worries!" Diamond responded, brushing the topic away.

Essy nodded when she heard that and echoed Diamond’s words.

Meanwhile, others were also curious about the owner. The reporters who came asked directly, "Can you shed some light on your boss and the owner of the manor?"

Hilary’s gaze lingered for a bit on Diamond who was in the middle of chatting with Essy before answering, "The owner is someone who prioritizes privacy over everything. She doesn’t want to be in the spotlight so I won’t share much about her," and didn’t share anything about the owner.

If Diamond wanted to be known, she would have exposed herself, but look at her right now.

So how could he dare shed any light on the owner?

When the reporters heard that, they knew that they couldn’t ask anything more about the matter. They would have to investigate the matter on their own.

However, they dared to interview the guests. After all, everyone invited was popular in their own way.
