SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 723 - 721: UNTITLED
Chapter 723: Chapter 721: UNTITLED
Diamond spent quite some in the space concocting the pellets and this time, her rate of completion was higher.
With the pellets in hand, she took a well-needed bath before leaving the Golden Space with the pellets.
She didn’t have dinner yet, so once she was done concocting, she went downstairs and found Auntie Janet done with the cooking.
She and Garnet enjoyed dinner together.
After dinner, the two of them went to the study, where Diamond planned to give Garnet the pellets.
Inside the study, Garnet sat across from Diamond, looking very relaxed.
To think that she had been with Garnet for less than a year still felt surreal.
"Miss, I have been thinking about moving out. Is it possible?" Garnet, from nowhere, asked, looking a bit nervous, in contrast to how she looked a while ago.
"What?" Diamond was caught by surprise by that question.
Did she do something wrong?
There was room at the villa, so why did Garnet want to move?
Garnet saw the shock on Diamond’s face and found her cute. She was touched actually seeing that reaction. At least she could tell that Diamond didn’t seem willing to see her go, but she didn’t have a choice.
"There is really no issue with me staying here. But I wanted to live somewhere closer. You know that I have been busy with the cafes and soon, I will be doing the other project. I might be coming home late and all that. I don’t want to disturb much ....."
Garnet’s excuses didn’t exactly make sense, but it got Diamond thinking. She tapped the desk, lost in thought, as she wondered what to do next.
After a while, she looked at Garnet and answered, "Fine. you can live outside if that’s what you want. You have your freedom and I don’t have much that I need you for at the moment. If there is something, then I will call for you," agreeing to what she wanted before adding, "where do you want to live? The villa or the apartment blocks?"
She didn’t plan to let Garnet go out there and pay rent when she had a lot of houses at hand. The villa in the Garden View villa complex only had Dahlia. It would be nice if the two of them lived there and kept each other company.
Garnet had thought that far, so once that question was asked, she didn’t hesitate but responded, "I will stay at the villa. Since you don’t plan to rent it out, it will be great if someone stays in it," and explained her decision.
Diamond nodded when she heard that and didn’t seem opposed to it. Garnet’s reasoning was the reason why she put Dahlia in that villa in the first place. Houses were meant to be lived in and if there were people who could live in them, then put them there.
"Okay, if that’s where you want to live, then go ahead and live there," Diamond agreed to her decision and Garnet’s face beamed, relieved to hear that answer.
"However, you have a housemate. I shall give you her contact details. You get acquainted with each other." Diamond clasped her hands as she shared that information with Garnet.
Garnet’s eyes widened when she heard that.
"This .... Who is living there?" she asked, curious about the matter.
Diamond’s eyes crinkled as she spread her hands on the desk and answered, "She is a super butler. Anyway, she will share with you about what’s going on when you see her. I hope that the two of you get along with each other."
A super butler ..... super butler ..... those words continued to ring in Garnet’s mind even after she left the study.
She was a super bodyguard, though her current passion didn’t have anything to do with security. Anything with the label super in her mind automatically meant people like her.
If Diamond had a super butler, it also means that the butler must be from the same world where she came from. If that was the case, then didn’t that mean that she .... She wouldn’t need to be alone anymore.
Garnet’s eyes sparkled as she thought of meeting another being similar to her.
She hurriedly took out her phone, opened the chat with Andrea and typed, [Andy, do you know who the super butler is?]
{Um. Her name is Dahlia.}
Garnet’s eyes lit up when she heard that. The name sounds like something that Diamond would pick indeed, but why flowers this time? She just didn’t understand it.
[Is she like me?]
{Yep. I will connect you to her. You can chat and get to know each other.}
[Thanks.]
{No problem. Need to go. I have an errand to finish.}
Garnet chuckled lightly upon seeing that and helplessly typed back, [Sure. All the best.]
{Same to you!}
After that, Garnet received a link to the chat group that Andrea was talking about and she joined the group.
When she clicked into the group, there were only three members; herself, Andrea and Dahlia.
[G: Hello @Dahlia. Welcome to the Blue Planet!] Garnet typed nervously and sent the message.
There was no response, and she didn’t hurry it. Those who worked for Diamond were forever busy and, as a butler, she should be very busy right now.
With that thought in mind, Garnet decided to be patient and do her other chores. She would be seeing Dahlia pretty soon, anyway. She planned to move out during the weekend.
Meanwhile, the person in question was currently busy, sitting in the study with several documents in front of her.
She had never thought that she would be so busy just after coming to this new world. The project handed to her was one of the craziest and largest she had ever taken, but seeing it, it was as if she was injected with chicken blood.
She wanted to do a good job and make the dream of her mistress come true.
That would be the home where all of them would be living next year. She wasn’t allowed to play around.
With that dedication coursing through her, Dahlia continued reviewing everything earnestly and, in the process, missed the message from Garnet.
