SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 694 - 692: RACE
Chapter 694: Chapter 692: RACE
Time passed peacefully and Diamond being in a good mood, everyone was happy.
Although her moods were unreadable with her being happy one second and upset the next, the fact that she was smiling now was enough to bring harmony to the group.
At some point, the group ended up leaving their spot to sit elsewhere. Wyatt was going to race first, so they wanted to cheer for him, as well as let Diamond prepare for her race.
It was unfortunate for her to leave before she could hear him speak more. Fortunately, she managed to learn his name; Waylon and it rang nicely in her ears.
She would look into him later now that she knew that Mercy wasn’t his girlfriend.
Once she was on her feet, her focus shifted to Wyatt, as his race mattered more than anything else. And with all the anxiety of watching some dangerous races on the track, Waylon was shortly forgotten.
When Wyatt drove his car into the tracks, she stood there nervously with her hands clasped together.
Mike stood next to her and patted her shoulder seeing how nervous she was and said comfortingly, "he is good at this. He will be fine!" reassuring Diamond.
Diamond nodded at his words, but that didn’t stop her from being nervous.
He won’t be racing with her, but with someone else. To win, people could do anything. What if the other driver hits Wyatt and causes an accident? What would she do?
She didn’t want him to be in danger, but could only watch.
Red ... Amber ... Green.
The traffic lights went green, and the cars flew from the starting point, signifying the beginning of the race.
It was now past five and her race would be in an hour or so. It wasn’t dark yet, thankfully, and that meant that she could be at ease slightly, though she was nervous throughout.
Each race consisted of six consecutive rounds, so there was quite a lot for the spectators to see.
Diamond cheered for Wyatt to ease the anxiety and soon she found herself no longer nervous as Wyatt increased the gap between the competitors. With him winning, she was happier. Her cheers were very loud, making Mike and the others smile relievedly at seeing that.
Wyatt had got this win in his bag, and all she needed to do was welcome him with open arms. That’s exactly what she did moments later when the horn blew and the red car passed the finishing line while the other car was still very far.
"Yeah!" they were cheering all over, celebrating another win for the ZOOM club.
Once again, they managed to win over the Srad club and they were quite happy.
Tonight’s races weren’t about whether you liked that person or not, but whether you supported your city or another. It was as simple as that.
Instead of waiting for Wyatt there, they all rushed to where he was and congratulated them wholeheartedly.
They didn’t return to the stands to watch more races as Diamond planned to get ready for her own race.
After waiting for forty minutes or so, she heard her name being called and knew that it was the moment she had been waiting for.
She wasn’t the only one waiting for that moment as everyone had been eagerly waiting to see this race.

Razor stretched his muscles as he stood next to his modified car, his gaze locked at the screen which was split in half showing the race which was about to end and Diamond who was preparing as well. His eyes narrowed.
He remembered clearly the instructions of that person, and his expression darkened. He didn’t think that he would be forced to use those moves just to deal with one woman. But for this money, he had no choice but to go all the way.
The two of them entered their respective cars and at that moment, the race ended and a winner was declared.
The Srad side had won the race and the ZOOM club wasn’t feeling well at that moment. They placed their hopes on Diamond at that moment.

Diamond bade farewell to her friends and called out, "I will be back in a jiffy!" before driving away.
Watching her leaving, the five guys were filled with worry.
"Do you think that she will be fine?"
"I trust her, but Razor, I don’t. What if he plays dirty?"
"Let’s go and watch closely, in case anything happens!"

Diamond drove to the track in a light mood as she chatted with Andrea. "Dear, remember what we planned!"
{Don’t worry, mother. It will go smoothly this time!}
A grin plastered on her face once she heard that response.
Diamond looked at the crowd cheering her name and Razor’s.
She couldn’t help but snort as she looked at Razor’s car. To think that this bastard wanted to deal with her, she felt that he was a joke. However, she couldn’t blame him. After all, he was following someone else’s orders.
When she thought of the culprit behind this whole conspiracy, a murderous glint flickered in her eyes.
"Andy, don’t forget to look into what I told you. Once the race is over, remember to send the gift over. I can’t be the only one getting frustrated!" she instructed sinisterly, a sly smile on her face as she tapped the steering wheel dramatically.
{I have everything sorted already. I just need to send it when it’s time!}
"That’s good!" she relievedly responded, her eyes looking forward as the traffic lights were red.
In the track, there were no words said. All drivers attention was either on the competitor’s car or the lights to see whether they would be driving or not.
Diamond didn’t want to concern herself with Razor, so once she was done with Andrea, she focused seriously on the lights.
She watched excitedly at the lights. These lights determine what would happen later on the track, though she already knew the outcome.
However, watching as they changed from red, amber and then green, she pressed the clutch all the way as she sped off from the starting line.
As for consequences, who cares when she has such a filial son to help her?
