Chapter 691: Chapter 689: ZOOM CLUB 8

Everyone at the scene snorted as they looked at her familiar antics. Even Luke, the brother, was truly embarrassed by her actions. He couldn’t help but give her a threatening glare and the little girl shuddered and tucked her tail between her legs.

Seeing her behaving with one glare, they looked at Luke and applauded him for being the scariest one among them once again. They didn’t know what kind of discipline Luke gave his sister, but it should work.

Luke looked apologetically at Sean, feeling embarrassed about Sophia’s shameless antics. As a brother, he knew his sister’s feelings very well, but Sophia was something else.

So, he could only apologize.

As friends, they didn’t keep holding grudges for something like that, so the atmosphere became better once they laughed it off.

At that moment, the two cars were at the starting line, and the colors were quite striking.

Diamond’s Aclerean was purple and Wyatt DX’s car was red.

Vroom. Vroom.

The cars were revving as the traffic lights were blinking red and Waylon’s focus was on the purple car. As for Sophia, who knew no bounds, he decided to ignore her for now and focus on what he came here for.

Meanwhile, Mercy maintained a smile on her face as she glimpsed at Waylon secretly while looking at the screen, cussing at Diamond she had never seen very close and her whole generation.

Watching Waylon’s concentrated gaze on the screen was Maya, whose fists were clenched and teeth gritted as she felt so much hate and anguish coursing through her.

It was simply unbearable. Unfortunately, the people she felt these strong emotions for didn’t even know she had them.

"Go! Go! Go!"

However, her hatred was suddenly drowned as the spectators started cheering. It was at this moment that she realized that the race had started. Looking at the tracks, the two cars were speeding with the red car in front and the purple car following closely.

’This doesn’t look good!’ she started panicking as she watched how Diamond didn’t seem to lose out to Wyatt at all.

Could it be that she was good at racing?

She didn’t believe it.

Meanwhile, watching on the stands while standing up was Razor whose eyes were narrowed as a foreboding feeling washed over him.

He couldn’t believe that he was seeing correctly.

It’s been two rounds already and the way Diamond’s car was tailing Wyatt’s didn’t seem like something that an amateur would do.

In his eyes, it seems like she was toying with Wyatt and he didn’t like that at all. Moreover, if Diamond’s skills were as good as he was guessing, would he be able to win over her later?

Worry suddenly crushed him, and the feeling wasn’t good at all.

He didn’t like losing and to a woman on top of that.

So, he could only pray that Wyatt was being lenient to her and not that he was being overwhelmed.

Unbeknownst to Razor, Wyatt wasn’t having a good time, despite leading the race.

He didn’t think that Diamond was such a beast to the extent of pressuring him to that extent.

He felt as if she was toying with him, testing her limits and his at the same time. No matter how fast he drove, she was always behind him. He was sweating buckets, wondering to himself where she learnt like that.

Was that what she meant by never raced before? Why did he feel like he had been fooled?

Unfortunately, while he was lamenting about that, Diamond was having a lot of fun in the car.

{Mother, know your limits. Don’t overdo it!} Andrea was on the verge of bursting as he anxiously kept Diamond in check.

If he had known that she would drive crazy like that, he would have taken the steering wheel from her. However, seeing her laughing happily like that, like a kid, he could only constantly remind her to be careful.

"Don’t worry, son. I know my limits. I will not do anything that puts me in danger," she promised her over-worried son.

She understood what he was worried about. If she was racing with Razor, the other might even hit her or cause a nuisance on the track, which might lead to an accident. Such kinds of accidents do happen on the track.

The track was messy and never fair, so one needed to be careful all the time.

For now, she just wanted to test herself and see how far she could go.

{You better keep that in mind!}

"I will. Besides, have you forgotten our plans already?" she asked teasingly, a mischievous smile on her face.

{Oh! There is that. Then have fun!}

"Hehe," Diamond chuckled heartily when she heard that, and couldn’t help but feel eager to see Andrea’s face as he dully responded that way.

He sounded very cute, and she liked it.

The race was very fascinating and kept everyone on their toes. Others were cheering for Diamond, and others for Wyatt.

Others were complaining and speaking ill of others. But others were anxious as they watched nervously the race.

Thankfully, it didn’t take long before the race finished and Wyatt won the race with a small margin. It made those watching exclaim.

The racecourse was filled with cheers and chants. It was quite loud, but those who understood a bit of what happened in the tracks were too excited. Their hearts were pounding like crazy. They couldn’t stand still.

After the race, both Wyatt and Diamond drove out of the track and drove to the parking lot.

When they got there, Diamond alighted from the car with a smile on her face.

It was the craziest thing she had done in her life and the feeling was magical.

She loved the thrill of the speed, and the dangers associated with that. Maybe it was because in her life, she had never done something like that, but she absolutely loved it, and she looked forward to doing it again.
