Chapter 69: Chapter 67

She didn’t know how it happened or where it went wrong. But the very next second, she was sitting on the floor, with her butt aching like crazy.

’How did that happen?’ fear suddenly crept into her upon thinking about that.

Diamond sneered as she looked at the woman, whose identity she still wasn’t aware of, stuck to the floor after she had pushed her away. After all, she wouldn’t allow anyone to harass her, even for a genuine reason.

Looking down at her, Diamond wiped her hands with another serviette and asked, "Are you going to tell me who you are, again? I am quite curious about how I offended you that you would shamelessly try to find trouble with me when I am already in a bad mood."

The woman on the floor, filled with fear for what had magically happened in just a matter of seconds. Looked regretfully at Diamond, feeling like a fool for her actions.

"You .... Don’t think that you can scare me! I will report you for assault!" she nervously threatened.

Upon hearing that, Diamond sneered more, as she crouched on the floor so that she was at the same height as the woman on the floor and said, "I think I have warned you before. Try to mess up with me and I will make you suffer the consequences. Since you can’t listen, then you are next!" in a chill manner that sent shivers down the other’s spine.

The woman on the floor trembled with fear.

However, she still didn’t want to believe that Diamond was capable of doing anything to her. They had, after all, shared the same dorm for four years and she knew her better.

"Diamond, I was your dorm mate. How can you not remember me?" the other yelled angrily at Diamond.

Hearing about that, Diamond, without standing up despite wearing high-heeled shoes, began to seriously scrutinize the other just to be sure.

Although there were four in the dorm, she barely was friends with all of them. They were too different, and she didn’t have time to entertain others. Besides, she used to have a friend back then, so the others didn’t matter.

So how could she remember someone whom she wasn’t even interested in when she was a nobody?

"Even if you were once my dorm mate. What gives you the right to assault me? I never stole from any of you. I walked on my crooked path and never bothered you with yours. So why the hate?" Diamond asked as she was truly curious about that the most.

She felt very hurt when she heard Diamond’s response.

How could she not hate Diamond, when the other had always been like that, even when others were looking down on her?

It was as if all of them didn’t matter, and she was special. How could she not even pay attention to the people living with her as if they were just ants and didn’t matter?

As if that wasn’t hurtful enough; Diamond had the guts to go around seducing others even when that second rich-generation boy was swallowing her whole.

And Diamond wasn’t even remorseful about it. And now she was pretending to not know her on top of it. How dare she treat her like that?

"Diamond. You are hateful! After everything you did to us, you can’t even remember me?"

"And who might you be, again?" in a sarcastic tone, trying to anger the other seriously, Diamond attacked once more.

"It’s me, Lisa. Have you forgotten about me already?" Lisa angrily revealed her name with teary eyes.

Upon hearing the name, something inside Diamond’s head seemed to click.

"Ohh, it’s you! You have changed greatly. How was I supposed to remember you when you look completely different from the person I used to know?" Diamond shrugged her shoulders as she stood up.

"You!" pointing angrily at Diamond, who still wore a detached expression as if she didn’t matter, Lisa yelled.

Diamond patted her gown and ran her fingers through her hair as she looked at Lisa on the ground.

’She used to be shorter and chubbier. Her face wasn’t like that at all before. How can a person change so much?’

Diamond still couldn’t do the math to find out what really happened to Lisa for her to change like that.

’Did she do cosmetic surgery? But that’s expensive. Where would she get such money?’

Even when her skin was bad, she couldn’t even afford a single round of surgery. So, how could Lisa, who was at the same level as her, even manage that?

It seemed that people were walking on the crooked path in hiding while pointing fingers at others for having done the same.

"I don’t care about what happened between us, for it doesn’t really matter. I forgot about it and I am not interested in it too. However, I will warn you on the account that we used to be friends. Stay the hell away from me and stop getting used by others. You wouldn’t know how you died if you remained a fool like that!" Diamond shook her head pitifully as she walked away from Lisa without helping her up.

Lisa watched angrily as Diamond left the restroom without helping her or even showing concern for her.

Seeing her really leave and recalling what the other had said. Lisa struggled to rise from the floor so that she could follow the other and have round two.

But when she saw her appearance in the mirror, she broke down and started crying. Venting out all her frustrations in one go.

As for Diamond, she was still trying to recall what had happened between her and Lisa when Andrea appeared once more.

[My lady, I know the person who instigated Lisa.]

Hearing that, Diamond’s interest was piqued and she asked, "Who is it?"

[I will send you a phone recording. You can listen to it.]

"Sure," she agreed, for there was no need to refuse.

She was curious about who that person was, to try to provoke her in such a manner.

It didn’t take long before the recording was playing in her ear. Listening to it, she couldn’t help but smirk, viciousness spreading on her face.

’Heh, and here I was, wondering where she was. Heh, I guess this feud of ours will not stop until one of us is down!’

"Andrea, get me everything on that vixen. It seems that I really need to teach her a lesson when we get back."

[Already started, my lady.]

Diamond smiled victoriously upon hearing that, "That’s why I love you, A."

[I know, my lady. I know.]
