Chapter 681: Chapter 679: ZOOM CLUB 2

Wyatt, on the other end, looked dumbfoundedly at Diamond. What was she wearing?

If he wasn’t mistaken, when he met her, she wore something different from this and yet now she wore a leather skirt which exposed her thigh tattoo and a matching tank top.

She wore heels, though not very high, but her looks were phenomenal. He was worried at first that her dressing would make her feel out of place earlier but didn’t dare mention a word.

He didn’t want to question her choice of dressing. Thankfully, she pulled out a big one. And he liked it.

He wasn’t the only one liking Diamond’s outfit right now, as Raize, who wore a pair of leather pants and boots, was gliding in happiness seeing Diamond wearing leather like her.

It was at such events that they got to wear clothes like these. That was another reason why she loved joining these clubs. She wouldn’t be pressured to be prim and proper. Here, people dress to the nines, look sexy and yet manage to drive like crazy.

They knew how to have fun and all the stress would vanish.

After all, there was a saying which says, ’All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!’

Who wanted to be dull?

Diamond removed the mask upon seeing that it was Raize. As for the other people with her, she didn’t know. She would have to match the name with the face after hearing their names later.

"Raize!" she called out cheerfully to Raize, who was approaching, friendliness written all over her face.

Raize, seeing the other’s cheerfulness, heaved with relief and felt happy at the same time.

She and Diamond couldn’t be considered the best of friends. After all, her younger sister Selena was much closer to Diamond than she was. They have met a few times, but that didn’t make them close.

So, seeing her looking like that, she felt at ease. Losing a face on such an occasion wouldn’t be good for her. There was so much riding on this event, and she couldn’t afford to lose face at any cost.

Raize returned the cheerful greeting and once the two were closer to each other, they embraced in a hug.

After separating, Raize greeted Wyatt with a smile before introducing the people she brought to Diamond.

Raize came with three other people, two men and one woman.

Raize started with the woman and introduced, "Diamond, this is Maya, the club’s secretary and a good friend of mine."

Diamond smiled at Maya, who looked cute, but she didn’t dare underestimate anyone. Lolitas do end up as vicious killers at times.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, Maya," Diamond smilingly said as she stretched her hand towards the other.

Maya smiled back at her as she responded, "It’s my pleasure to meet you finally. We have been waiting eagerly for your visit!"

Diamond and Maya shook hands with smiles on their faces.

"I am glad that I am finally here!" Diamond squinted her eyes as she looked at the other.

’This place is quite interesting!’ she mused as she retracted her hand.

Raize continued with the introduction.

"This is Kevin, the club’s current president," Raize said as she pointed towards a handsome man who was dressed in all black, looking a bit mysterious.

Once she heard the name, it clicked in her, just like how it clicked when she heard Maya’s name.

As they exchanged pleasantries, a smile was on her face as she felt that coming tonight was the greatest decision, she had made this month. This place was full of people with stories. And she loved eating melons a lot. She was looking forward to any drama.

"Last but not least, this is Mike, our Vice President."

’More drama!’ Diamond exchanged more pleasantries with Mike before learning Raize’s position in the club.

To think that Raize was the treasure and the one who held the money. She looked at the other in a new light.

With all the greetings and introductions out of the way, she and Wyatt joined the four as they headed towards the offices.

The racecourse belonged to the club, apparently. The group of leaders she was with weren’t the first, they could be considered being the third generation.

The racecourse was built by the money earned through membership, sponsorships and so forth during the reign of the second-generation members who are now busy with other aspects of their lives.

There was a certain age when people started losing interest in dangerous things. Rather than focusing on that full-time, they take a hands-off approach. So, it can’t be said that they are no longer there, but just let the new generation take over.

On the way to the offices, Diamond listened to Raize, who was giving her a brief history of the club, which she hadn’t heard the other time they talked about this issue on the day she bought the Cagda.

As they headed there, the other members pointed and whispered, but she could hear what they were saying. A smile was on her face most of the time since the statements were pleasing to the ears. However, there were a few daring ones who didn’t know how to filter their words. They made her pissed off for a bit, though she didn’t show it.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t force everyone to love her. So, she could only swallow her grievances and tag with the leaders.

When she walked into the office, she looked admiringly all over. She could see that the current administration, they were still very serious about what they love.

Everything was well maintained, and she hoped that the members’ cars were also up to date. It would be unbearable if these people got into unfortunate incidents.

Anyway, after entering the office, these four leaders, whose only goal was to make Diamond join them officially, didn’t beat around the bush.

Once they were inside, Raize, who had done her best to appeal to Diamond, asked directly once they were seated.
