After stuffing herself with so much food, she was feeling a bit bloated. As she had not eaten properly back at home, she needed to replenish her energy.

So, what if the food was more for appearance’s sake?

Since Queen was paying, she decided to eat to her heart’s content and make the other go green with anger.

It’s been a while since they started eating while others spoke in groups. Just because it was a reunion, didn’t mean that they all knew each other very well. They were all divided.

Feeling uncomfortable with her bloated stomach. Diamond tapped Kian’s thigh, the man who had been shielding her without a word from the second that they entered the room.

He was even kind to add food to her plate, which made her heart flutter. However, as much as she would love to flirt with Kian, she needed to visit the restroom first and solve some urgent issues before doing that.

"Umm, what is it?" he asked in a low voice that only she could hear.

And with the way he was leaning towards her. The two seemed very close and more intimate than good friends.

And a few ladies present who had fallen for Kian’s looks hated Diamond even more upon witnessing that.

"I will be back in a jiffy. I want to go to the restroom!" she informed him.

Kian smiled knowingly as he gazed at that tummy that wasn’t bulging yet. However, as someone who had seen her before all that, he could tell with a glance that she was indeed bloated.

"Do you want me to go with you?" he asked teasingly.

Diamond pinched Kian’s thigh, which was pointless as it was all muscle, and hatefully asked upon being inflicted with pain instead of the opposite, "Who wants to go with you?"

Kian chuckled heartily at seeing her like that. So, under everyone’s gaze, they watched as Diamond stood up, making them see for the second time just how magnificent that gown was.

And when comparing that gown to what they were wearing, shame overwhelmed them.

"Where are you going to?" Theresa asked sarcastically upon seeing Diamond leaving without saying anything.

Diamond turned her head to look at Theresa and winked at her, before saying, "to the restroom. Do you want to join?" provoking the other as she left.

Seeing that Diamond was toying with her, Theresa was so angry that she retorted, "Who wants to go with you?" without budging on her seat.

Although she was infuriated by Diamond and hated her so much. She wasn’t a fool to go with the other to the restroom. Problems always get solved there and if she went there, then wouldn’t she be the one suffering, judging by how Diamond had been acting?

When her cousin told her about Diamond, she didn’t believe it at first. But now it seemed that there was more to the other that they all weren’t aware of.

From the second Diamond arrived Theresa had been playing a losing game. And if she were to lose another round, she wouldn’t be able to lift her head.

Besides, many people so far had used her without any benefits, and she wasn’t willing to continue anymore. The damage she had taken had already taken a toll on her.

If there was anyone that wanted to deal with Diamond, then they better do it alone and not include her in it.

Seeing that Theresa wasn’t going, Kian was relieved and resumed sipping his wine without saying anything.

"So, umm, we haven’t gotten your name. What should we call you?" Queen, being an attention seeker and also forgetting that she had bullied Diamond from the second they arrived, asked Kian coyly.

Kian turned his head to look at the shameless woman, who didn’t even feel embarrassed for acting in such a manner and doing so in front of her male acquaintance, with disgust in his eyes.

"You don’t deserve to know my name!"

’Savage!’ another person thought as he looked amusedly at the two people involved.

"Don’t be cocky. She is just curious. After all, you came with Diamond."

"Heh!" Kian scoffed without saying anything and resumed drinking as he waited patiently for Diamond to return.

On the other side, Diamond managed to find the restrooms and thankfully, the place wasn’t full.

So, she easily relieved herself and started feeling much better. She even gulped down a sobering drink she took from her storage ring, dispelling away the effect of alcohol on her.

Getting too drunk was always an issue, especially for a girl child. A lot of nasty things could happen in the process, and she didn’t want to be a victim of something that could have been avoided in the first place.

After coming out of the cubicle, Diamond soaped her hands and began to wash her hands meticulously.

As she was doing that, minding her own business and thinking of how to leave with Kian, it was no longer interesting to remain at the resort anymore. The door to the toilet suddenly opened, which was a normal occurrence for it was a public place.

The row of mirrors made it easy for her, as she didn’t need to look at the door to see who had entered, but just checked through the mirror.

And when she saw the woman who just walked in, she looked down and continued to wash her hands.

"Diamond, are you ignoring me?" a shrewish voice suddenly asked angrily.

Diamond, confused by what was happening, raised her head and looked at the woman from the mirror, confusion in her eyes.

"Who are you?" Diamond couldn’t help but ask the other. Who seemed to know her when she wasn’t even sure who the other was?

The face was familiar, as she had seen her in the room where she had just left. But as for who the other was, Diamond was completely blank.

"You ..... haven’t you grown pompous?" the other angrily asked as she pointed her finger at her.

Seeing the other so angry like that. Diamond knew that there was more to the story than what she didn’t know, obviously.

So, without rushing, she took some serviettes and wiped her hands meticulously.

And the other seeing Diamond acting like that, was so angry that all she could think of was teaching the other a lesson.

And without much thought, the other rushed towards Diamond. Her goal was very obvious and determined.

If there was one thing that Diamond was good at, ever since she started exercising after getting a new life, it was her good senses.

Why would she allow a lunatic to beat her for no reason? Even if she was in the wrong, she wouldn’t allow anyone to beat her, either. She wasn’t a pushover.
