Chapter 677: Chapter 675: WYATT, THE BUSINESSMAN
When Diamond arrived, she was amazed as she looked at the peaceful café. If she hadn’t seen it with her eyes, she wouldn’t even have known that such a café existed.
All her cafes were in places that were easily accessible and could be seen at a glance. And yet, this café, as if the owner wanted to hide it from society, was a bit difficult to see at a glance.
However, from a distance, she liked it so much. She couldn’t help but have a new idea of a café. It wouldn’t hurt to make something like this and give the customers some peace. It would be perfect for peace-loving people as well as introverts who don’t like noisy places.
Diamond walked towards the café with a smile on her face, admiring the café.
She didn’t bother to ask Andrea, there who owned the café. After all, if she was curious about every single establishment that she saw, wouldn’t she overexert Andrea by doing so?
Besides, why should she know everything?
She made her way to the café, admiring the garden that made her want to put more focus on one.
Honesty, the matter of gardens was something that always comes and goes out of her mind all the time.
Because of the garden, she bought the villa in Garden View but shortly forgot about it. Anyway, she was now certain that she wouldn’t be living there full-time. So, whether the gardens are made the way she wanted or not wouldn’t matter.
Her villa in Cherry Court would be a loss if she messed with the garden there. A lot of effort had already been put into the gardens. Besides, even if she thinks of changing anything, she wouldn’t have time to pay attention to it. So, she might as well not do anything.
However, it was pleasant and pleasurable to be able to see something comforting and wonderful like this.
After passing through the beautifully decorated garden, she reached the café’s door, pushed it open, and walked inside.
When she walked in, her smile broadened as she spotted Wyatt, who was sitting in a corner reading a magazine seriously. He looked quite manly; she wanted him more.
Moving her gaze away from him, there were three other people enjoying their peaceful moments inside the café. The staff were busy with their chores.
’It seems that if I want something, I should go to the front to have it!’ she summarized upon observing a bit.
Nonetheless, she didn’t bother to go to the counter but made her way to the corner where Wyatt was.
As she walked towards him, and as if sensing her, he raised his head and the two locked gazes.
Upon seeing her, Wyatt’s lips curled upwards and Diamond felt happy upon seeing that.
Wyatt rose from the chair and opened his arms as he corked his head to the side.
Without any words exchanged, Diamond smilingly skipped as she approached him and before she knew it, she was embraced in a very warm hug. She was greedy for more.
The other customers couldn’t be bothered with that public display, but the staff’s eyes were nearly bulging with shock.
All of them had one question swirling in their minds: ’Just who was she?’
And that question was answered moments later after the two separated.
Diamond removed the mask covering her face as she sat down, shocking the staff, who recognized her.
Diamond sat across from Wyatt and looked at the man she hadn’t seen in days with a smile on her face.
"How have you been?" she asked concernedly, wondering what he had been up to.
Wyatt shrugged as he lazily leaned on the chair and responded with a shallow smile on his face.
"I have been busy dealing with some business matters. You know it’s not easy to make money!" he said with a sigh as he looked at her helplessly.
Diamond upon hearing that chuckled faintly as a wry smile appeared on her face. Before responding to him, she raised her hands and started massaging her temples, her actions making Wyatt, who didn’t need to be told what she was thinking, laugh.
"It’s tough, isn’t it?" he couldn’t help but playfully ask, fully aware of how it wasn’t easy for her.
He was her friend, but before that, he was a fan. As a huge fan who followed Diamond in the beginning because she was pretty, outspoken and rich to the extent of dealing with the money in whatever way she wanted. He knew her schedule. At least according to what he sees online, as well as what she shares as a friend.
Diamond, unaware of what Wyatt was thinking, sighed dejectedly as her hands were placed on the table where she started drumming the table with them.
"I haven’t had any time to rest ever since I returned from Gesalsi. These two days, I hope that I can rest. It will be hectic in April again."
At the thought of that hectic timetable, she found herself having a headache.
Wyatt chuckled at seeing how dejected and helpless she seemed. However, he felt happy for her.
Others might not see it, but Diamond wasn’t a beautiful vase. She was very hardworking and was always involved in every project and did it seriously.
That was another reason why he liked her and didn’t mind befriending her. And also, why he didn’t mind bringing her here so that she would see the other side of him that other people didn’t know.
"You will have a good time to rest in the future. Besides, isn’t it interesting and satisfying to be able to participate in your business ventures? You get to see them in the infant stage until they mature!"
Diamond nodded as soon as she heard that and echoed, "I love it, to be honest. That’s why I still keep myself busy despite the pressure."
Wyatt agreed with her as well.
"So, why are we meeting here? This place looks dope, by the way. Does it belong to a family or a friend?" Diamond couldn’t help but ask Wyatt, no longer interested in talking about business, which was making her hurt the more she talked about it.
Wyatt smiled knowingly when he heard her changing the topic swiftly and when he thought about how he would be bringing her back into the topic, his smile widened.
Diamond, unaware of what Wyatt was thinking, looked forward to the answer. However, when the answer was given, her eyes nearly popped out and her mouth was wide open.
She was truly in shock.
"This place is mine. What do you think?"
What does she think? Was he serious?
She freaking loved the place.
How come she didn’t know that Wyatt had such a side before?
Wait, a minute! Didn’t he mention before that he dabbles in investments before?
Was this what he was talking about back then?
She couldn’t help but look at him with awe after the shock dissipated.
