Chapter 674: Chapter 672: UNTITLED

When Keisha heard that, she frowned a bit. The price was already expensive and if it got increased, wouldn’t it be too much?

However, remembering how good the cream was, she could only bite her tongue and ask for the price. "How much is it?"

When Diamond heard that, she smiled inwardly, thinking to herself if the other party wouldn’t dare show up after hearing the price.

"He doubled the price!"

"What?" Keisha exclaimed as she looked at Diamond with shock in her eyes.

Diamond shrugged as she looked at Keisha and responded, "I am just a middleman. You can tell your friends about the price. If you still want it, then contact me. I will keep your order when the time comes," and after saying that, she increased her pace, leaving a furious Keisha.

Others might wonder why she increased the price of the cream. It was actually very simple.

She would be starting her own cosmetic company soon and the cream would be a bit lacking compared to the beauty cream provided by the system, but the effects were nearly the same. At the same time, the herbs needed to make this cream weren’t readily available, and some were expensive.

That meant that the cream would be pricey as well. With that in consideration, she felt that it would be better to increase the original price. That way when her own cream comes out, it would take that place.

She was simply paving the way for her own brand. Was there anything wrong with her doing so?

Unfortunately, not everyone thought so.

Keisha was fuming as she felt that Diamond was taking advantage of her. The previous price was A$5,000 and if it’s double then A$10,000. Did that even make sense?

Even the most expensive cream on the market was this expensive. Unfortunately, she was dealing with Diamond and seeing her attitude; it was either she bought it or she just forgot it.

It looked like Diamond didn’t even care if she remained a customer or not, and that pissed her off completely.

She hated the fact that she was the one who wanted to rely on Diamond and not the other way around. However, no matter how sour she was feeling right now, she still needed the cream. But before doing so, it seemed that she would need to have a chat with her friends and confirm with them.

Meanwhile, on the fans’ side, they were now busy talking about the price of the cream and starting to wonder how magical that cream was to be priced so exaggeratedly like that.

[If you ever get lucky and use it, I can assure you. Even for a 100k, you can buy it.]

[I was lucky and managed to get one bottle. I am still using it and I can assure you that my skin now looks so damn good. I have diluted my bottle and I can wonder how good other people’s skins are like for those who didn’t dilute?]

[I wonder as well.]

[Can someone tell me how much was the previous price?]

[Hehe, A$5,000.]

[Damn, you are telling me that people were spending that kind of money for a bottle of body cream?]

[Yep, and it’s worth it.]

[The thought of spending so much money just makes my heart ache.]

[If the seller was someone else, I would have thought that people were being scammed. But it’s Diamond we are talking about.]

Diamond’s true fans knew that she was rich, so stealing from people this small amount of money wouldn’t be true. Anyway, she was the middleman and her cut might be low. If they needed to blame someone, the person making this kind of cream was to blame.

Diamond finished her jogging and threw aside Keisha and her thoughts. Knowing how good her cream was, Keisha would be begging her soon.

The broadcast ended without Diamond saying a single word to the fans, and Andrea started editing the videos without delay.

Diamond washed up, changed into something comfy and went downstairs to meet her parents, who had just entered the dining room.

Garnet was also there, so the four of them sat together and enjoyed a hearty breakfast.

After breakfast, her parents and Garnet left the house, leaving Diamond, who planned to leave a bit later.

It was the 30th and the first day of the race. From what Wyatt told her, everyone would start gathering at the racecourse around 3 pm, so she still had a lot of time to spare.

Besides, most races were done at night, so there was no need for her to make herself suffer by going there early.

She didn’t feel like going to work, so she decided to lounge at home, or rather read a few books in the study while she waited for Wyatt to give her a call.

So, when everyone left, and Auntie Janet was busy cleaning the dishes, she went to the study, where she picked a Business Management book from the shelf and started reading steadily, absorbing as much as she could in the process.

What she didn’t understand, she searched for the meaning on the internet instead of asking Andrea since she wanted to feel a sense of doing something. If she asked Andrea, she was afraid that he would give her all the answers she needed and make her lazy to continue.

Two hours later, Diamond’s self-study was cut short when she received a call.

"Who is calling?" she asked lazily as she stretched her arms while yawning a bit.

{It’s Gael, mother!} Andrea responded.

When she heard that, a smile involuntarily blossomed on her face, thinking about this young man who was still dedicated and doing his best.

"Connect his call," she instructed Andrea as she closed the book.

Seconds later, the call was connected, and a familiar male voice sounded in her ear.

[Good morning, Diamond.]

"Hey, Gael. How are you?"

[I am faring well and yourself?]

"I can’t complain."

[That’s great. Felt like checking on you and seeing if you are well.]

Diamond’s eyes squinted as she lay on her belly on the couch, her lips curled upwards upon hearing the concern of the other party.

"Thank you for that. It brings me joy."

[Phew~ that’s good. Anyway, I don’t have much time to chat. Work is calling me!]

Diamond pouted when she heard that. They hadn’t even chatted for five minutes and he was going already?

What a loss!
