Since Auntie Grace wasn’t at home, the duty to cook fell on Diamond, who was at home.

So, once she was done dealing with the space’s chores, she wore bum shorts and covered the shorts with a long and loose t-shirt. She wore slippers, took out a drone of the briefcase and let Andrea set it up.

She was going to cook and yet she felt lonely doing so by herself. She then thought of her fans and felt like doing a broadcast. That way, she could tease one or two people while she finishes her chores.

With the drone hovering above her in invisible mode, Diamond took the elevator downstairs, and at this moment, the broadcast notification reached all followers.

Seeing that those who were free clicked on the link and soon joined the broadcast.

And what welcomed them was a lazy Diamond who was dragging her feet walking towards the kitchen while she hummed one of the two songs the fans hadn’t heard yet.

It wasn’t Diamond’s plan to interact much with the fans, since she knew her weakness very well. If she started, it would be difficult to stop, so she decided to restrain herself.

However, once she was in the kitchen and the hologram screen appeared in front of her, she knew that it was going to be difficult.

"Hello, JEWELS! How have you been?" she greeted the fans as she moved around, preparing the ingredients for the meal.

Diamond was busy with the ingredients, so she wasn’t focusing much on the comments. However, she still didn’t forget to inform the fans of what she was doing.

The fans were happy to hear about the cooking broadcast.

"I will be preparing some Gesalsi food tonight, so keep an eye on it and see how I do it. I might cook it differently from the way some of you know, but what matters is the final dish. Anyway, for those JEWELS on GEM. I have been busy these days, but I didn’t forget about what I promised you. I will settle the debt as soon as possible."

She didn’t forget about the promise of sharing vlogs on how to prepare some of the Gesalsi snacks she was selling. She was too busy, but she would be free soon.

Diamond took a look at the comments and smiled, finding the fans very adorable before continuing.

"I shall be cooking kimchi fried rice, spicy tteokbokki, fried chicken and rolled omelette," she announced the dishes that she was making as she arranged the ingredients on the island.

She had brought with her kimchi, and a lot of it from Gesalsi as well as other main ingredients that couldn’t be found in Athary easily.

The fans saw her taking one thing after the other and started wondering if she was preparing a feast for many people.

Diamond thought of starting with the kimchi fried rice since it would take a long time in her mind.

Once she started cooking, she also explained what she was doing calmly and in a manner that would make the fans hear and understand.

For the kimchi fried rice, she started by cooking the rice in a rice cooker. Since there was something that could help in cooking rice, why bother doing it the old way?

With the rice cooking, Diamond began to prep the chicken for the fried chicken. She chose drumsticks and since there were four; she picked eight pieces and set them aside.

For the other ingredients, Diamond puts in a bowl minced garlic, sea salt, and ground black pepper.

These ingredients were all mixed and once that was done, she coated the drumsticks in corn starch. With the drumsticks evenly coated, she set them aside.

While the rice continued to cook and the chicken was set aside, Diamond took out a frier and added a generous amount of oil before leaving it to boil.

While the oil was in the process of doing so, Diamond started preparing the kimchi fried rice.

She took out the kimchi from the container and chopped it until she got a cup of it.

She also squeezed some juice from the kimchi and got a quarter cup of it.

With that done, she washed her hands as she returned to deal with the chicken.

Multitasking wasn’t that difficult as long as one was focused.

The oil had just started to boil, and it was freaking the viewers out. Others were lamenting how she was wasting oil and all that, but the majority were busy watching attentively so that they might try the recipe as well.

Diamond started adding the battered drumsticks carefully in the frier since the oil was boiling hot and any mistake would result in burning oneself. Even though she wouldn’t be that stupid to burn herself, those watching might act recklessly. And that wouldn’t be good.

So, she did every step carefully, and it earned her brownie points from professional chefs who followed her.

Diamond put the chicken in the fryer and let them fry for five minutes. While they cooked, she shifted her focus elsewhere again.

The rice cooker had just notified her that the rice was cooked. With it cooked, it meant that she could now cook the kimchi fried rice.

She opened the rice cooker and smiled upon seeing the well-cooked rice which was emitting a tempting fragrance, begging to be eaten.

Diamond scooped three cups of rice from the rice cooker, leaving a generous portion in the cooker. The three cups were put into a large bowl before being set aside.

With the rice cooling down on the other side, the chicken got cooked in the frier and she took the done chicken and placed them on the kitchen paper.

With all drumsticks out of the frier, she scooped any debris from the oil using a skimmer.

Once that was done, she let the oil to boil again. And while she waited, she focused on her rice once more.
