Chapter 653: Chapter 651: MARATHON 5

{Kian’s group is successfully finished. The last person was successfully dealt with. And Kian is lying low. He hasn’t left his house.}

When she heard that, a smug smile blossomed on her face. With him facing all such kinds of threatening circumstances, she didn’t think that he would have time to even dare recall any forgotten memories.

She didn’t need to worry about Kian at all.

For Sullivan, she felt disgusted when she heard how Sullivan had gone public and now his fans knew about his relationship with Izzy. Listening to the tale, that shameless couple spun. She felt even more disgusted. It was a good thing she cut herself with this person. And when she thought of the day Sullivan would learn the truth about Izzy, all the disgust vanished.

That day would be a good one. This dish was going to be served cold at another time, but not now.

All the enemies she made while associated with the twins could no longer be called as such since the space fairy kindly erased their memories of her. So, dealing with them wouldn’t be interesting, though the twins wouldn’t be people she would forgive easily. Especially Sullivan, who dared treat her that way.

At least for Kian, she dealt with the threat and even released him from that unfair contract he was in. As for how he would live his life, she didn’t care. But that cheating couple, she was going to deal with them greatly. It was just a matter of time.

Andrea also shared with her about the matter of that disgusting producer and how that secret organization was pushing the matter forward.

{Mother, this organization CIRCLE it’s a good one. Are you sure that you don’t want to join them?}

Diamond shook her head, her body having goosebumps all over. As much as she wanted to take revenge and bring justice, some of the actions done by CIRCLE weren’t to her liking.

Whoever founded this organization was perverse, and she didn’t want to be associated with that person at all. She would support them when she should but become part of them. She didn’t want to live with a belly full of vengeance. Dealing with the twins was already too much for her.

If she were to be bombarded with other issues, wouldn’t she forget the mission that had brought her this far?

Seeing his mother silent, Andrea already knew the answer and didn’t pursue the matter any longer.

Without her knowing, the finishing line was getting closer and the people in front of her were still doing their best and maybe afraid of being surpassed. They gritted their teeth and continued running.

Diamond didn’t want to surpass them, so she did her best to maintain her speed and remained as the eleventh runner.

Diamond smiled earnestly as she watched the runner in the front crossing the line around 02:15. That was around the time Wyatt completed training.

Talking about Wyatt, it was unfortunate that he and his friends didn’t manage to join her. Wyatt called her last night to inform her about not participating. Something came up on their side, which was understandable.

By the time Diamond crossed the line, it was around 02: 28 and those who were watching knew that she had tried her best to have those ten compete and remain in the top ten.

Having a person able to manage that, the people from the national sports committee couldn’t help but feel complicated.

However, despite all those emotions, they were determined to have a chat with her.

When the fans saw Diamond passing the finishing line, they all cheered happily, and she even smiled brightly at them.

Although she didn’t manage to become first, the fact that she still ended as number eleven was quite a huge feat. As for what other people would say, she didn’t care.

She didn’t owe anyone.

"Congratulations and thank you for participating," a middle-aged woman wearing the Frin Charity Organization t-shirt softly said with a smile on her face as she put the medal on her.

Diamond beamed at the older lady and thanked her politely as well before slipping away energetically.

She waved at the fans who were gathered, cheering her name and made hand hearts and all sorts of cute actions, making others speechless. However, to her, as long as the people who were meant to see were happy, who cared about others?

With her medal in hand, Diamond walked back to the stall where she found a group of people surrounding the place. When she saw that, a smile formed on her lips.

Thankfully, the bodyguard team was shielding her already, so despite seeing the group of people, she didn’t panic.

"Diamond!"

"You did it!"

"Congratulations!"

Most of the people surrounding the stall knew her, so they greeted her and congratulated her on succeeding and finishing the marathon.

Diamond beamed broadly and responded to them merrily, making those who had come to support to feel great.

Diamond interacted with these people for a while and even played a few games, which made the stall very popular. It was quite fun.

Once all the fun was done, Diamond slipped away, holding gifts from the fans. Someone wanted to see her, and it seemed that they wouldn’t go before seeing her.

Understanding the seriousness of the matter, Diamond could only disappoint the fans. She would find a day to compensate them. Making the elders wait wasn’t something that she was taught, though it mainly depended on her mood.

The group of people who wanted to see her were in the tent belonging to the organizers. So, she went over there, wondering who wanted to see her.

Thankfully, Andrea came to her rescue and informed her of the guests.

When she heard of who they were, her brows furrowed briefly before a sly smile appeared on her face.

’Things are about to get interesting!’ she thought to herself as she felt more energetic to see the people who traveled far to see her.

It would be rude of her if she disappointed them.
