She was probably the first person who dared change the terms and conditions of the contract like that while still not changing the remuneration that she would be given.

Tiana would be lying if she refused the fact that when she opted for three years and added that condition of monopolizing her in the sportswear department, she had her selfish reasons.

She had seen the report on how the Hope Lounge Café did in the period that Diamond was spotted there.

Her secretary even showed her the ridiculous queue in that specific café, and that showed how much traffic Diamond could bring to a brand or business without her doing anything.

Once the amendment was done, Diamond looked through the contract briefly and Andrea reported truthfully that the contract was now fine.

Since everything was fine, it meant that was remained was to sign, and that was something that Kiara was supposed to be present for. She wasn’t dealing with her company but an outsider, so having a professional lawyer witness the whole thing was a must.

Luckily, Tiana wasn’t planning on signing the contract on this day. She hoped to hold a press conference when Diamond was free. They would finish the other procedures then.

Diamond didn’t make a fuss when she heard this. She really loved the attention and the many cameras, so attending another press conference was not such a big deal.

The two became closer the more they talked and before they knew it, they exchanged their private numbers with each other. That way, they could talk more when they have time.

Diamond was a fast eater, so it wasn’t long before all the plates were wiped clean.

She felt satisfied with the food. It was very delicious and worth its price. When she thought of her own restaurant in the future, hehe, it was going to be legendary. She could foresee it already.

After the important talk was done, the two left the private room and Tiana paid for the meal.

"Fine, I will let them accompany me from now on. Contact Admire and tell him to get the team ready. Tomorrow, I shall be going for a marathon. Let’s start there!" she instructed Andrea.

Andrea happily obliged and disappeared to send the message.

Garnet was a super bodyguard, which made her perfect for the protection job. However, when she thought about how Garnet loved working at the cafes, or rather leading and being in business, her heart ached at the thought of bringing her to her side.

She didn’t want to let her wilt by her side for the sake of protecting her. Besides, with how tricky the ingredients of the teas were, she couldn’t bring Garnet back at all.

It was better to let Admire and others take care of her. She would make them strong, that way they wouldn’t suffer if they ever met someone stronger than them.

With such a thought in mind, she put her car in gear and drove off.
