SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 480 - 478: HOPE LOUNGE CAFÉ
Chapter 480: Chapter 478: HOPE LOUNGE CAFÉ
Athary, Frin City
Ruby smiled as she spotted the beautifully decorated café just around the corner of the street.
Across the café, there was a similarly decorated café and the two of them both had a similar plaque hanging; HOPE LOUNGE CAFÉ.
These two cafes were the cafes which belonged to Diamond, her wonderful sister, who, despite being seen as being too lazy, was busy making things happen behind the scenes.
The cafes were a project that Diamond and Garnet had been working on for months and finally; the day had arrived for them to be opened.
It was a pity that Diamond wasn’t here to promote the cafes, but as the younger sister who happened to fall in love with the milk tea and snacks Garnet gave her to taste yesterday; she decided to take on the job of promoting.
She didn’t know or understand why Garnet didn’t heavily promote the cafes, but since she did it like that, then there was a reason why it was like that.
But she wasn’t Garnet, and she wanted to let her followers and fellow students know that there was something nice that they were missing out on.
Of course, she didn’t plan on letting everyone know that the cafes belonged to her sister. Her sister loved being low-key when it came to her businesses. Even now, there were still many more that she didn’t know.
Ruby parked her Cagda in the parking lot before alighting from the car with her phone and selfie stick.
As an uprising influencer with hundreds of followers, all thanks to Diamond who promoted her in the beginning, she needed to provide her fans and followers with some content.
And promoting her sister along the way was like hitting two birds with one stone.
She had talked about that with Garnet, so she had a green light to do what she wanted.
Ruby locked the car and took a look at the bodyguards, who were faithfully shadowing her and smiled relievedly.
It wasn’t easy being Diamond’s sister, but she loved it. Her life was much better compared to before. Who cares about being stalked?
Ruby set up the phone and once that was done, she logged into her Ioniq account. Unlike her beautiful sister with so many systems in hand to help her connect to many platforms, Andrea to help with other matters and can provide real-time subtitles. She wasn’t like that.
She only knew two languages, her native language and her universal language.
Talking about languages, she was surprised to know that her sister knows the Gesalsi language. When did she even learn it?
It was simply too baffling.
Anyway, with her account logged in, she typed a nice title for the broadcast before starting the broadcast.
Once it was on, viewers started to trickle in and among the viewers, a big V entered the room, making her smile widen at seeing that.
"Hello everyone. I hope that you are well!" she started by greeting the viewers and they greeted her back with the same enthusiasm.
[What are we doing today?]
[Aren’t you supposed to be at school?]
[You look beautiful!]
[I just saw your sister earlier. She is supporting you. How sweet!]
Seeing the comments, Ruby’s lips twitched as she wondered how straightforward everyone was.
"Hehe, it is indeed a school day. I took a leave, so I can skip classes today!" she responded to the viewers as she walked toward the first café.
To promote her sister’s café, Ruby asked for a leave yesterday and she was granted one.
Maybe it was because Diamond was her sister and, thanks to her, the university became a bit too popular. Or it was because she was a good student and was always in the top three that they agreed.
Anyway, what mattered was that she didn’t skip class, so her being here wasn’t a bad thing.
[DIAMOND (V): Hehe, it’s good that you didn’t skip. This sister will surely sack your bum if you play with your studies!]
That message flashed on her screen as soon as she finished explaining, and her lips twitched further, completely taken aback by her sister’s suppression and shamelessness.
"Sis, is that something that you can say on such a platform?"
[DIAMOND (V): What’s wrong with saying that? Kids should understand that skipping classes is not allowed. Parents are working tirelessly to support them. How dare they fool around?]
And Ruby, seeing that comment, knew that she had just triggered the alter ego of her sister. The councilor had just been summoned.
Surely before she could even respond, the fans became very enthusiastic and started sharing their views as well.
Ruby came to a halt and let this commotion come to an end. Her sister could be seen battling with the viewers with words, and it was simply hilarious.
However, she didn’t stop it as she saw her viewer count breaking one million. That was the first time such a thing happened. So why should she shut her sister up?
’It seems that she is here to support me!’ she couldn’t help but smile sincerely, thinking like that.
[DIAMOND (V): Let’s continue the battle another day. I want to know why my sister still skipped classes. It should be something interesting, right?]
And that was Ruby’s cue to go into details of what was happening.
When that comment was posted, the viewers finally remembered that there was a purpose for every broadcast, so they started clamoring Ruby with questions.
Ruby, seeing all the attention back to her, chuckled lightly as she responded, "So, today, I am here to support a friend’s business. She had just opened two cafés, across from each other," she said as she turned the cameras to take a glimpse at the two grand cafes visible from a distance. "Today, I will be checking the cafes and showing you what they offer. I hope that in the future, you can support my friend’s business. Trust me, their products are pretty good!"
[Oh! We have got an endorsement already?]
[For you, even if it’s not nice. I will support you!]
[Where are you?]
[Why aren’t they doing a promotion? They look so damn nice!]
Ruby smiled, reading the comments as she walked to the first café.
"You won’t be disappointed, don’t worry!" she might not believe in other people, but her sister was different.
Ruby had so much trust in her.
If she wasn’t certain about something, she wouldn’t do it and share it with others.
Seeing it open meant that everything had been dealt with, and now it was time to show this to the world.
Looking at the screens as she reached the door of the café, she asked, "Shall we check it out?" a playful smile tugging on her lips.
