Chapter 468: Chapter 466: MEETING FANS

The girl beamed excitedly at her, her eyes squinting as she turned her head around, an action that puzzled Diamond.

Wasn’t she going to sit down? She wondered, and just as she was doing so, the answer shortly arrived.

Following the girl’s line of sight, Diamond found three more girls looking her way with the same gaze as the girl, and she knew that the four of them were together.

Did this girl come first to test the waters for everyone?

As she wondered that, the girl shifted her attention back to her before asking shyly, "This .... Do you mind if my friends sit together with us as well?" her big eyes blinking cutely, making it impossible for Diamond to say no.

In the end, Diamond’s table became a table of five in a matter of moments, and the food at the table happened to be the same as well.

Apparently, these four ordered the same food as her, rendering her speechless with the way they were acting.

Was this how people chase stars?

As she looked at how shy and excited the four were as she continued to eat, Diamond answered herself once more.

It was probably the way that they do chase stars.

Since it was like that, why not provide some fan service while they wait to board?

"Girls, what are your names?" Diamond asked as she looked at the girls. Since they were going to be stuck together for a while, they might as well share some names.

They probably know hers, so why not know theirs?

The girls flushed when she asked that question but couldn’t help themselves as they started introducing themselves, the demeanor of being rich girls completely vanishing.

They were in the VIP lounge, where usually those who love spending could only enter. The first class and business class tickets were simply so pricey that at times taking the economy class would save a lot of money.

But for the sake of convenience and luxury, those who could afford tend to take first class and business class when flying.

Ever since she got the money, Diamond wanted the best out of everything. Pretending to be poor when she was rich, she didn’t want to be that kind of protagonist. It simply makes one temple ache, especially if you happen to come across people like Portia, who loves stomping on the weak to upgrade themselves.

Face slapping was a waste of time for someone with many things to do. Why get into trouble when you can avoid it?

She just didn’t understand some people at all.

"I am Amelia, twenty-two years and live in Strawford City."

"I am Clara, twenty-one years and live here in Dielas."

"You can call me Diane. I am from Srad and twenty-two years of age."

"Loveness, that’s my name and I am from Frin. I am turning twenty-three in two days!"

The girls introduced themselves, looking so excited that Diamond didn’t know what to say or where to look.

Just hearing the details in their introductions, the girls were very determined to share as much as they could with her.

But wait a minute, these girls were all from different cities. Just how did they meet? She couldn’t help but look at them puzzlingly.

"I guess you already know who I am, but I will still say it. Diamond Perry is the name. Live in Frin and turning twenty-six years old next month. It’s a pleasure to meet you guys!" she introduced herself earnestly as she looked at the girls, feeling warm inside for the fact that they were all seated there right now.

"Ah~~~" the girls squealed excitedly as soon as the introduction was done, making Diamond to smile shyly.

This was the first time that she was sitting so close to fans who acted the way they were doing. Even when she met those fans a few days ago, they weren’t like this at all.

She couldn’t help but feel shy.

"Diamond, this ..... do you mind if we take a selfie?"

"And an autograph as well!"

"We are your fans. Been following you from the beginning!"

"Pretty please!"

Facing such cuteness and pleading, Diamond’s soft heart couldn’t take it. And since she couldn’t, she found herself holding a mini-fan meeting with the girls.

They were chatting happily, taking photos as well as giving the girls some autographs.

"How did you girls meet?" when all was done, Diamond’s curiosity, which had been piqued earlier, wanted to be satisfied, so she asked.

"Hehe, we all go to Dielas University. We met in our first year. Same dorm and same course," one of them responded.

Diamond exclaimed in understanding when she heard that. If they were roommates and schooling in the same place, then it would make sense for four cities or four people from different cities to be this close.

"Okay. That makes sense. You have been friends for a very long time, then?"

"Yes, we clicked from day one and until now, we are as strong as ever!"

Diamond couldn’t help but feel envious as she listened to that.

To her, who lost all her friends, and got betrayed by her roommates and so-called friends, her circle of friends was now very small.

Even the friends that she made were all busy and they barely met. Even chatting now was becoming a problem. They just didn’t have that time at all.

When she looks at it for real, she can pitifully say that she didn’t have anyone so close to her the way she was close to her family.

Maybe she should start putting more emphasis on spending time with friends. She can’t always be a loner. It gets suffocating at times.

"I wish your friendship to last long and for you to stay strong no matter what obstacles you face in the future!" Diamond earnestly said this to the girls, hoping for the best.

Betrayals tend to be done by those who are closest and not even far away. She didn’t want such a friendship to be broken.

The girls grinned at her and promised to work it out if they ever faced any issue.

Recalling that one of them was having a birthday in two days, Diamond fumbled in her large handbag and took out something.

"I didn’t know that we were going to meet. If I knew, I would have prepared something grander. But still, this can be done. I hope that you will like it. Happy birthday in advance!" Diamond smilingly said to Loveness, who was about to turn twenty-three.

Birthdays should be celebrated. It didn’t matter whether they were celebrated in a big manner or a small manner.

As long as the celebrations get done, then the day will be meaningful.

It took so much effort for the parents to conceive and bring the children into the world.

So, if people can’t even celebrate such a day, then what use are they?
