Chapter 465: Chapter 463: GOODBYE

Two hours later

Honk. Honk. Honk.

Following the other cars on the road, the black SUV with the Perry family was nearing the airport.

This family had been on the road for a while and was finally approaching their destination. They were quite excited as that happened.

"Dear, you need to take care of yourself when you are there!" Her mother was busy, as always, nagging, but in a way, she couldn’t help but like it.

Having her parents by her side, being worried for her and showing concern, was a dream come true.

She spent too many years without them by her side, and she nearly went astray.

"Don’t worry, mom. I will definitely do so. Don’t worry much!"

"How can I not worry? You are going alone and no bodyguard is coming with you. What if something happens?" Belinda rolled her eyes at her daughter as she chided her.

With what was happening currently, with Kian’s issues, what if those people happened to bump into her daughter and act excessively?

What can be done when that happens?

Unfortunately, Diamond wasn’t aware of her mother’s thoughts. She simply thought that she was just caring and being concerned like a mother.

It reminded her of the first time she went on a school trip. It took a lot of convincing and persuasion for her parents to let her go. To see her go somewhere far where they weren’t. Her parents felt their hearts wrenching.

It was even the case when she started college. Her parents made sure to send her straight to the dorm, just to be certain that she had safely arrived there.

Now that she was leaving the country, which was a first for her. How can they not nag?

"I agree with your mother!" her father suddenly added, making Diamond look at him, who now looked younger and quite attractive. She just hoped that those young ladies wouldn’t clamor for him.

If they dared try to vex him and break her family, she would deal with those vixens, plus her father on top of it.

No one dares to cheat on her family members, including her mother as well.

"Be careful and don’t do much that will attract attention. You won’t know who is looking at you!"

With him saying all that, what else could she say except to agree?

"Don’t worry, dear parents. This girl knows bounds. I will not do anything that will put me in trouble!"

Of course, even if she attracts trouble, and can’t fight the people on her own, she still has the Golden Space. If that can’t be done, she would just summon the Ghost Merchants. They were assassins, after all.

The parents rolled their eyes at their daughter, knowing fully that their words weren’t taken seriously, but having her listen was already a feat worth celebrating.

It didn’t take long before they arrived at the airport.

When they reached there, Diamond was a bit worried that her parents would get photographed and end up on the trending searches.

She didn’t want her parents to be in the spotlight for whatever reason. She wanted them to enjoy their lives and not be embroiled in her scandals.

Even if people talk about them, let them do it without exposing their pictures to the public.

But who would have guessed that they were experienced from the last pickup as they brought their masks and hats to cover themselves?

In the end, the Perry family all headed for the airport with the bodyguards shadowing from behind.

Diamond and Ruby weren’t wearing any masks as they walked, shielding their parents in between talking and laughing.

The two girls’ appearance at the airport, despite being so early in the morning, attracted several people.

Although other people didn’t want to admit it, Diamond was a bit popular in Frin. When she appeared at the airport, several people automatically recognized her, and they started taking videos and photos.

As for the family, they didn’t bother with the spectators and simply waited for Diamond to check in her luggage before waiting for the takeoff.

When all was done, Diamond didn’t bother to go to the VIP lounge for a rest but decided to roam around while waiting for boarding time.

"Sister, you must bring me some good clothes over there. You aren’t allowed to forget!"

"Hehe, did you give me the money?" Diamond snorted at her shameless sister who loves taking advantage of her all the time, shocking the other with the response.

Ruby’s eyes widened as she looked at Diamond with surprise. "You ... why are you doing this to me?" she asked, her hand dramatically patting her chest as if she was about to suffocate.

The parents, seeing this small drama, pretended as if they didn’t know the two rascals.

Didn’t they see where they were?

Garnet, on the other hand, faithfully recorded this moment. Whenever the siblings were together; they always ended up providing funny content. The content was enough to make the fans laugh for many days to come.

Despite managing the cafes, she still remained Diamond’s manager. And one of her jobs was to manage her social media accounts.

Diamond tends to forget to post most of the time. Time to read comments and check what’s going on online. She can manage to find it. But time to really share her daily life, the other was simply unavailable.

Thankfully, there was Andrea, who helped a lot. So daily content was always available.

The two siblings playfully teased each other until the announcement reached their ears that those boarding the plane to Frin should start moving.

Since that was the case, Diamond could only look at her family, a bit sulky and emotional.

She was leaving today, on the 18th and according to her schedule, she should be back before her birthday, which was on the 15th of March. So roughly, she would spend over twenty days away.

"I am going to miss you guys!" she emotionally said as she hugged her family.

"We will miss you too!" Belinda and Ruby were teary as they hugged her back.

Diamond turned to look at her father and gave him a reassuring smile. "I will take care of myself always and not let any harm befall on me. You help me take care of the family in return. Will you, Dad?"

Richard, her father, nodded assuredly, his eyes red and feeling emotional.

"I will. So, take care of yourself. Okay?"

"Um. Don’t worry!"

When all farewells were done, Diamond reluctantly walked away. However, she didn’t look back.

She was afraid that if she did so, then she might end up not boarding that plane anymore.

’I will miss you but don’t worry, this girl will definitely make sure to enjoy myself and make this vacation one to never forget!’ that’s all she could promise.
