Chapter 446: Chapter 444: HOT SEARCH

[Frin Daily: our very own socialite, Diamond Perry, once again set the internet on fire when she gave away A$2 million in an event to her fans.]

[Economic Daily: Diamond Perry had shocked the world after casually giving out rewards worth A$2 million. What could the possible source of income be? Could something be happening behind the scenes?]

[Dimond Perry’s net worth revealed.]

[Who is Diamond?]

These are the headlines that welcomed Diamond the moment she opened her eyes the next day.

"Seriously, don’t they have anything to talk about?" as she climbed out of bed, she grumbled, feeling that these news outlets didn’t have much to do.

{Mother, I told you that we should remove the searches yesterday!} Feeling annoyed by the whole thing, Andrea complained.

"Hehe, son. This is not a bad thing, you know. I have remained too low key and people are curious about sources of income, which is normal."

{But, if they started poking their noses, aren’t you afraid that they might find more than what you are letting on?}

"Huh, I have nothing to fear. Besides, don’t I have that trading company? Nowadays, who doesn’t earn millions when trading? And it’s not like I never mentioned to everyone that I am earning through trading!" Diamond calmly responded as she washed her face.

Andrea, hearing that, recalled that she once told her fans about this matter before. His mother wasn’t the only person earning a living through trading. So, this might not be a bad idea.

Besides, trading stocks was always a private thing, and a person wasn’t required to reveal much to the authorities. And his mother paid all taxes, at least for the money that entered the known bank accounts.

As for that other account, why pay taxes?

{Should I help the curious cats by revealing some information?}

"No, don’t. let them scour for what I have released before."

{I guess, for now, we just monitor where the winds will take the matter.}

"Um, we will do so."

After discussing this matter, Diamond continued with her morning routine and after breakfast, she was ready to leave.

On the sixteenth, Diamond planned to visit the foundation and hold a meeting in the morning and then visit the passport offices to collect her passport and then her visa.

As for getting worried about these people and their curiosity about her money, there was so much to give them if things got iffy.

She was a farm owner, and the business was selling well. She was a landlord and earned rent monthly. On top of that, she owned shares in several companies and dividends kept on pouring into her bank account monthly, so what did she have to fear?

As for the money earned through excess trading, it was in a bank account that only a few knew that the bank even existed in the first place. Her money was well protected, so she didn’t have much to worry about.

She would just feed them constantly and reveal her net worth as time went on, but for now, she was going to let them guess until they got tired.

With such a mindset, Diamond threw the issue of the host searches out of her mind, but her family members were quite worried about that.

However, she assured them that everything was fine as they headed for the foundation later that morning.

Diamond wanted to show her parents the foundation since they had never been there before. She wanted them to see the place where all of this started, and let them know that although she spends money a bit too much on herself, she was still doing some good out there.

And when her parents saw the skyscraper building, they couldn’t help but look at their daughter with a complicated gaze.

Just how much was their daughter hiding from them?

And when they stepped into the building, they couldn’t help but feel proud.

"Hello, Ms. Perry!"

"Good morning!"

"It’s good to see you again!"

"You rock, you know that!"

The employees were all smiles, and their attitudes towards Diamond showed how much they liked her. It wasn’t something forced, but something deeply ingrained in their bones.

Their daughter treated her staff well, and they treated her greatly in return. How could they not feel proud?

Diamond grinned happily at the staff, and on the way, she introduced her parents. "These are my parents. Memorize their faces, just in case they come back here again!"

"Don’t worry, boss. We will remember them."

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Perry!"

"It’s nice to meet you, sir and ma’am."

And the feeling of being recognized was simply too addictive for the old couple as well.

Diamond brought her parents to the foundation, not only to let them see what she had been doing for over a year but also to tempt them to stay in Frin in the future.

She no longer trusted Taco Town at all. The villa she bought for her parents was considered one of the best in that small town, and if she were to change house, she would have to find something that she didn’t like.

On top of that, Kian knew her parents’ business addresses, and that made it tricky. She didn’t want to send her parents back to Taco at all. So, letting them fall in love with something in Frin might quickly help them erase their affection for the town they spent most time in.

As long as they take the bait, she would be able to win. And what better bait to use than this?

Who didn’t like doing good deeds?

And the couple seeing such a grand place their daughter set to help others, couldn’t help but feel that they had raised a good child.

By the time Diamond reached the top floor, every single employee knew that their boss had brought her parents to the foundation.

And with the meeting being held in a while, they all couldn’t wait to meet the parents of the person who had done so much for the community and barely showed off about it.

The greatest reason why everyone in the foundation respected Diamond.

She was an internet celebrity and yet never once did she expose herself, her charitable deeds and many more things she did for the community at all.

Instead, she kept her cool and always kept a low profile. If she had exposed that, who knows how much fame she might have right now? But she didn’t do it.

For such a boss, like her, how can they not like her?

And knowing that the parents were in the building, everyone was in a hurry to go and check them out.

It was a moment not to be missed.
