Chapter 427 - 425: A WASTE OF TRUTH SERUM!

Chapter 427: Chapter 425: A WASTE OF TRUTH SERUM!

Wasting two more drops on them would be a loss. Besides, with the two she used on the twins; she was left with seven drops. She needed to conserve them and leave them for the time she desperately needed them.

Wasting the truth serum on the twins would send her to the hospital with fury. The thought of it made her even more eager to provoke the twins and get this whole fiasco done with.

Placing the wineglass on the table, Diamond looked at the twins with a smile on her face. Her visuals were very striking and made the twins’ hearts race.

Crossing one leg over the other, her dress exposing more skin and revealing a fraction of the daffodil tattoo, the twins’ eyes unconsciously found themselves glancing there once in a while.

And that was exactly the kind of distraction that Diamond wanted to see on them.

"It’s been a while since we met and the first time that all of us are meeting. How have you been guys?" Diamond asked casually, her eyes filled with curiosity and happiness of meeting.

Upon hearing that question, Kian was the first to answer her. "It’s a good thing that we are all together today. We have a lot to talk about!" his answer was a bit off track. It made Kian surprised by his response and Sullivan was even more startled.

’What the heck was he talking about?’

However, Diamond couldn’t help but sneer inwardly. With the influence of the truth serum, the affected would only utter their honest thoughts. No matter how much they try to stop themselves, it couldn’t be helped.

Diamond pretended as if Kian’s statement was just normal as she responded cheerfully to it. "Indeed. We can all discuss our future together. It’s not easy for us to meet, you know. There is so much we need to talk about. What do you think, Sulli?" she asked innocently as she threw the question to Sullivan.

When the twins were listening to Diamond’s response, for a brief moment they were scared that she might find Kian’s response suspicious.

Diamond wasn’t a pushover. They have both seen that.

However, taking advantage of the affection she has for the two of them, they wanted to believe so greatly that she wouldn’t act like that towards them.

So, when they heard her innocent reply, they heaved with relief inwardly, feeling saved by the bell. It won’t do them well if they get caught up before doing much.

Unfortunately, Kian got a question when he wasn’t expecting it. Thinking how stupid Diamond was to even think of a future between the three of them something very impossible. After all, he was a married man with a child. Why did he need to indulge a woman who lacks confidence to have taken such a path?

The question got directed at him, and as if a floodgate had opened in his mind, Sullivan found himself even acting worse than Kian.

"What do I think? You can’t be playing with me, are you?" Sullivan mockingly asked as he looked at Diamond with disdain, startling both Kian and Diamond. However, as if he were a puppet, Sullivan found himself continuing. "What kind of future can there be between us three?"

Kian, seeing that Sullivan’s mouth was getting out of hand, reached his hand to smack his thigh, trying to warn him to hold himself. However, Sullivan, as if on drugs, smacked Kian’s hand away as he glared at Diamond, who looked ashen with shock and continued with his daunting remarks.

"Diamond, seriously, you are one of the most troubled girls I have seen in this world. In a world, no, in a country like ours, do you think that your measly dream can be achieved?" he sneered at her, no longer holding himself back.

Although he sensed that something was wrong with how he was spitting his real thoughts out loud like that, since it had happened already, he might as well just let it all out.

He couldn’t stop himself, anyway.

"You ...." Diamond raised her hand, pointing at Sullivan, her lips open in shock as the flesh on her face shook with the unexpected attack on her.

Andrea: {Mother can really act!} Watching the drama as it unfolded through the cameras, he applauded his mother’s act.

Sullivan, seeing that, knew that Diamond wasn’t expecting such words from him and seeing her so vulnerable like that. Something that she had never shown all this time. He felt power.

"Just because you have some money. Dabbled in stocks, made a few millions and you are supposedly acquainted with an alchemist. Do you think that you are all that?

So, what if you have millions of followers on social media? Do you think that those people love you so much? Haha, the reality of celebrities is even harsh, Diamond. If you hadn’t paid them back then, do you think that you would be as famous as you see yourself right now?"

Feeling smug and loving the anguish and helplessness on Diamond’s face as she glared at him, tears threatening to fall at any moment, and yet unable to do anything, Sullivan felt his anger being vented out.

Kian, unable to tolerate his brother’s sudden outburst which obviously had disrupted their plans already, opened his mouth to retort Sullivan. "You, is that what you are supposed to say? Even if you were bottling such grievances, is this the right time to say it?" but then the words that came out of his mouth startled him.

Especially when he saw how dumbfounded and teary Diamond looked as she looked at him.

What did he just spew out right now?

Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to get that answer as Sullivan, as if fueled by Kian’s reproach, even went further.

"You are a fool. What makes you so special that you think that you can have several men to serve you? Are you a deity? Are you a princess? Even princesses aren’t as greedy as you!"

Diamond covered her face with her hands as her body shook. Those who saw her would think that she was crying and seeing her like that made Sullivan, who had been egged on for days, feel happier.

Since he was doomed by being harsh on her already, he might as well make her suffer more. Let her feel the pain that she made him feel in this period that he was with her.

"Diamond, do you feel wronged?" he asked sarcastically, a sneer on his face. "I feel wronged even more!"
