Chapter 426 - 424: CHEERS TO US!
Chapter 426: Chapter 424: CHEERS TO US!
As soon as they entered the cabin, the twins couldn’t help but inwardly applaud Diamond for doing such great work.
The cabin was decorated beautifully and everything about it screamed that it was indeed a day to celebrate love.
The roses were in every corner, and the wonderful scent of fresh flowers filled the whole place.
Hanging on the walls were beautiful portraits of the couples. Since they were never in one frame, the photos were mainly with either Kian and Diamond or Sullivan and Diamond.
There weren’t a lot of portraits however, in those that were there, the twins could tell that a lot of attention and detail had been put into them.
It was simply so touching; it made them feel a bit guilty. After all, their reason for coming to this date wasn’t to celebrate romance and be lovey-dovey, but for their own selfish reasons.
Diamond smirked as she led the guys, wondering who would be having the last laugh when all this was done.
"You sit over there! I will come back pretty quick!" Diamond cheerfully said as she looked at the twins after entering the living room.
When the twins heard that, nodded their heads and let her do what she wanted. Diamond was the host, so they were leaving everything to her.
With her gone, the two of them found their seats and began looking around.
"It’s pretty here!" Kian couldn’t help but sincerely praise.
Sullivan nodded his head as he looked at the picture of Kian and Diamond laughing affectionately as they walked in the grassland.
It was a picture taken of the two during the Iwarim broadcast, where Diamond went haywire on the trolls.
He still recalled how envious he was when he saw how great she was having when she was with Kian.
He didn’t think that Diamond was ever this free whenever she was with him. It was as if, from the start to the end; he was a substitute for Kian. Honestly, that thought, no matter how absurd he found it, he couldn’t help but believe it.
Izzy had been getting into his head. He was having a hard time believing anything of Diamond at the moment.
Regardless of his thoughts, he didn’t share them with his brother. He wasn’t a fool to utter something like that. They might be cooperating right now, but who knows what might happen later?
After a while, Diamond returned holding a tray, and the room was filled with a delicious aroma.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Sullivan found himself asking teasingly as he stood on his feet to help Diamond.
Diamond flashed a smile at him before throwing a wink as she neared responding, "Just some appetizers. Freshly baked cookies, and fruit wine!"
Sullivan looked at the items on the tray and nodded as he took the tray from her.
"Um. I am already salivating!" he earnestly said, as he looked at the cookies.
He might have an agenda, but that doesn’t mean that he would not appreciate good food or the hard work which Diamond had put in for this day.
A lot of men out there were the ones preparing for this day. And yet the two of them were on the receiving end. As human beings, they should learn to be grateful.
Diamond grinned upon hearing that and answered, "It’s good that you are salivating. By the time we are done with the course, you will be too full to even think about eating!" her tone was very playful and her meaning vexing.
Unaware of what Diamond was insinuating, the twins burst into cheerful laughter, finding her words very correct.
When it comes to food, Diamond always makes sure that people eat to their fill. So, they didn’t second guess her at all when she said that.
Diamond grinned at the twins as she sat down across from them. The tray of snacks was placed in front of them and Sullivan poured the fruit wine in the glasses before sharing them.
Diamond thanked Sullivan as she accepted her glass and waited for the twins to have theirs before proposing a toast.
All of them were on their feet, the glasses clinked, and Diamond cheerfully said, "Cheers to us! Let this day be a day we will never forget!" her brows rose playfully like a mischievous kitten wanting to cause some trouble.
The twins briefly looked at each other and inwardly nodded that it was a day that wouldn’t be forgotten easily before cheering as well.
"To us!"
"To us!"
With the toasting and crocodile smiling happening in the room, the three lovers sat back in their seats.
Diamond licked her lips as she reached out for the cookies. Since she didn’t cook it, she was curious about its taste. The aroma was simply heavenly. It made her want to bring back the baker and ask him or her how these cookies were done.
With an aroma like that, just thinking of making them at her cafes, won’t she get popular?
Diamond picked a cookie and brought it to her lips.
With a single bite, Diamond closed her eyes as she felt it melting in her mouth. It was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.
She could hear fireworks, and it made her just want to eat and not even start the argument.
At the thought of this, if the argument breaks out before the cookies are done when she leaves, she is going to pack them all. She paid for them, after all. What’s wrong with getting her things?
The twins watched dumbfoundedly at Diamond as she ate the cookies.
Was she feeling a bit too shameless again?
Why act like that when she was the one who cooked?
To check how delicious the cookies were, the twins picked one each and when they took a bite; they understood why she was acting like that.
’She is truly a MasterChef!’ they couldn’t help but praise her once again.
After finishing a cookie, Diamond felt that it was time to cause some trouble. There was no way she was going to let these bastards enjoy the cookies she paid for when they were planning her downfall that easily.
Besides, the truth serum worked for an hour and so far, ten minutes had already passed. If she delayed, who knows if she would get what she wanted quickly?
