Chapter 424: Chapter 422: I AM WORRIED

Meanwhile, at Sullivan’s villa, the twins were getting ready for their first date with Diamond together.

To get where Diamond planned to meet with them, it was going to take at least three hours from the villa, so they needed to leave early to make it in time.

Kian sat on the couch as he watched Sullivan comb his hair and couldn’t help but marvel at how this person was like his reflection,

They were both identical; in appearance, skin tone, and height. If it wasn’t for their different persona, they would be mistaken for the same person.

That’s how much they resembled each other.

"Brother, did you fall for me again?" Sullivan asked teasingly as he winked at Kian.

Kian scoffed at Sullivan’s shamelessness as he looked away.

"There is nothing to love about you!"

"Hehe, aren’t you saying that about yourself?"

"Whatever!" Kian didn’t want to entertain this narcissistic person anymore.

Seeing his brother raising the white flag that fast, Sullivan burst into laughter, finding Kian more reserved than before.

"Brother, seriously, you ....."

"Stop with your antics. Anyway, on a serious note!" Kian cut Sullivan as he said, "Are you really certain that your method will work?" his tone filled with a hint of worry and uncertainty as he thought of what the other had suggested a while ago.

Upon hearing that, Sullivan’s eyes squinted as a glint of certainty and pride flashed in his eyes.

"Brother, you have to trust me. This will definitely work. I am certain!"

However, Kian still felt worried, he couldn’t help but ask, "What if things go haywire?"

"Haha, haywire? That’s impossible! Brother, didn’t you watch her last broadcast?" Sullivan laughed heartily as he turned to face Kian, whose face was scrunched up with worry, finding him a bit too less confident about his charm. "Brother, she won’t dare think otherwise!"

"But .... I have this bad feeling that something might happen!"

"It won’t happen. If there was anything like that, wouldn’t we know by now? Besides, she didn’t even suspect Izzy that night. So how can you worry?" Sullivan retorted as he gave Kian a reassuring gaze.

Hearing that name, Izzy Kian glared at Sullivan, fury rising in him. "Are you really going to be with that ... Izzy?" he asked with gritted teeth, not liking it a bit that Sullivan would hang out with the girl he kicked out over a decade ago, only for her to return with a gift.

Upon hearing that, Sullivan suddenly turned cold as he looked at Kian.

The fact that back then he suffered so much heartbreak, hating Izzy for packing and leaving him without a word. After suffering many years, thinking about her, thinking about where she was and how she was faring, only to find out that it was Kian who forced her out of the relationship. He felt fury.

He hadn’t even forgiven Kian for that move, and yet he dared to bring it up again. How could he remain so ruthless like that?

"Kian ... you .... Let us not fight. Today we both have a common goal and it is to get Diamond to accede and tell us what we need. Don’t dare bring Izzy into this!"

However, Kian didn’t fear his brother at all as he responded, "Have you ever wondered if she is wrong? What if we do this, test her and then we offend her? Do you think that there will be a way back?"

"Haha, I told you that there isn’t. The second that she gave us those things, it meant that she no longer planned to go back. Just chill if you are scared. I will deal with this myself! Besides, since when did you start fearing a woman?"

"Sulli, you_"

"Brother, Izzy was indeed right. We have become soft persimmon because of Diamond. Otherwise, why do we need to worry so much when all we need are answers? We just need to make her know her place!" Sullivan didn’t give Kian a moment to finish before saying this.

Kian could only sigh, feeling a headache coming. He didn’t know how the night was going to end. And he just hoped that he would get both of the worlds.

Besides, with Sullivan at the forefront, even if it gets bad, this time he would just push all the blame to him. He was the one who voiced out that suggestion in the end.

Although his plans were the same as Sullivan’s for a while now, he never exposed them. But Sullivan was different. He was going to take all the blame and make sure that he remained in her good books.

He was the first who knew her, fell for her first and wanted her to himself. And yet Sullivan salivated for what was his. Seduced his woman and even got her first. How could he forget this grievance?

From the beginning, his image in Diamond’s mind was always good. Except for being busy most of the time, he didn’t do anything that would make her hate him that much.

He was confident. Even if things go haywire tonight, only Sullivan would suffer.

With that thought in mind, Kian finally calmed down. He just needed to watch the drama a sit unfolds and yield a bountiful harvest.

Sullivan, unaware that his twin brother was scheming against him, soon finished styling himself and it was time for them to leave.

When all preparations were done, the twin brothers both sent a message in the group message, informing Diamon that they were on their way.

[Sure. I will be waiting for you. Drive safely. Xoxo.]

And like always, her message was full of sweetness, making Kian especially feel bad for everything that they were doing to her.

’She will be able to forgive them, right? No, him, right?’ he couldn’t help but inwardly ask himself.

She has always been understanding from day one. There was no way that she wouldn’t be magnanimous, right?

Unfortunately, he wasn’t aware that all his secrets, the ones he didn’t want her to know at all, were all known to her.

And what awaited them was a moment that they would never forget.

Ever!
