Chapter 409: Chapter 407: AGITATED 3

Diamond closed her eyes as she raised her head to the sky, taking a deep breath as memories surfaced of that night when she first learnt of this cruel truth.

It was that night when she sent Sullivan the photo which someone had sent her. Thinking that it was just a photo from his current project, she just warned him to look into it.

But then he called and accused her left and right, and said hurtful words, which made her wonder why he was like that suddenly.

Sensing that there was something fishy about the whole situation, she who had banned Andrea from looking into the twins, since she wanted to learn everything about them slowly like what real people do. She had them looked into and the results were heartbreaking.

To get rid of the pent-up frustration and blame, she worked herself tirelessly in the Golden Space until she felt that she wasn’t able to make it anymore.

In fact, thanks to that news, she managed to achieve a breakthrough. She became stronger, but what was the point of getting stronger when she barely got into fights with others?

Sullivan was married. He had been married for over a decade. Although he didn’t know about that issue, since Izzy, the wife. Yes, this Izzy in front of her was her lover’s spouse.

The one who appeared just a day after she was introduced to Sullivan’s friends.

To think that the girl she didn’t like upon meeting Linda was Izzy’s friend and the one who gave Izzy the news of her dating Sullivan. One day, she was going to deal with that person.

Linda in Dielas ganged up with that Anne person to attack her. If it wasn’t for Samantha who came to take her away, who knows what kind of battle that would have been fought?

When she was leaving, she still remembered what Linda said to her, "Be happy all you want. But pretty soon, hehe, we will see who will have the last laugh!" and at that time she simply thought that the other was delusional but who would have guessed, that she would prepare something so enormous for her like this?

Surely, Linda wasn’t joking when she said that.

Wasn’t it the others who were having the last laugh now?

With how she was principled, remaining with Sullivan no matter how much she liked him or liked him in the past, since the second she learnt of what those two were up to, she would never have anything to do with a married man or a man who hold another person in his heart.

She would never be a second choice, no matter how many men she wanted to be with.

In all relationships she would be in, she would always be the first and last one, and no questions about this.

Meeting with Izzy tonight was all for this. To hear from the horse’s mouth what she had already confirmed. And with how boastful Izzy was, and with the serum she kindly gave Izzy when they were hugging, she was going to get all the answers she needed today.

And when the fourteenth arrives, the shackles of love shall all be discarded. These great deities can’t be housed in her small temple. She couldn’t afford it.

Diamond snapped her eyes open as she looked at Izzy with a chilly gaze, scaring Izzy, who wasn’t expecting Diamond to suddenly change like that.

Since the other had shown her hand, Diamond didn’t feel like playing with Izzy much longer, so answers needed to be received quickly before the serum lost its effects as well.

The clock was ticking.

Tilting her head to the side as a sinister smile appeared on her face, Izzy’s heart was thumping loudly as she felt as if she had been duped.

This wasn’t what she saw a while ago. Why was it like this suddenly?

"You .... You played me?" coming to her senses, Izzy accused as she pointed furiously at Diamond, who was reaching out for the champagne.

"So, what if I did? What are you going to do?" Diamond retorted as she poured a glass for herself, a smirk on her face, looking at Izzy like a fool.

"You ... you know about it?" that was the only explanation to Diamond’s reactions right now.

Raising the glass to her lips, Diamond threw a question, "What do you think?" before drinking a few sips.

Izzy, seeing that, knew that she had been played, and that didn’t sit well with her at all.

"I don’t care if you know about this or not, but since I am back, you better stay away from my husband. Sullivan is the father of my child and I will not let any vixen take that away from me!"

"Haha, the father of your child? Are you not even embarrassed to lie with a straight face to me? When had that bastard of yours become his?" Diamond asked mockingly as she looked at Izzy with a disgusted expression.

What really infuriated her the most when it came to Sullivan and Izzy was how these two could be considered to be perfect for each other.

The fact that Izzy was once that one special girl that Sullivan loved so much and was willing to do anything for until Izzy one day packed and left. Her leaving left a huge dent in Sullivan’s life and it literally turned him into a player until he met her.

And then after more than a decade, the white moonlight returned and flashed a marriage certificate and a baby. How can he not falter?

To think that he ditched her at Samantha’s party for Izzy, who was abroad at that time and even lied to her about a project that didn’t even exist, Diamond felt disgust towards Sullivan.

Failing to reach him and feeling worried all the time for him, and yet he was busy rolling around the sheets with another woman. A woman who never bothered to come to him all these years, but only appeared when it was her turn.

How could he be an idiot?
