Diamond didn’t forget to check the room as she sat down closer to Izzy. Unlike the room she got in Frin, this one was a bit on the lower side.

With a glance, she could tell that Izzy wasn’t as rich as she made herself to be. If she knew that she was a VIP member, Diamond couldn’t help but feel curious. How would she react?

It would definitely be a wonderful scene.

"Thank you for coming!" Izzy toasted to her a while later, after handing Diamond a glass of champagne.

Diamond lifted her glass as she toasted back to Izzy with a mild smile on her face. "I wouldn’t miss this for the world. It’s very rare for me to make friends!" winking at Izzy playfully.

Izzy’s eyes squinted as she looked at the glass of champagne for a brief second and responded cheerfully, "We are fated!"

Diamond chuckled as she brought the glass to her lips, her gaze on Izzy, who could barely hide her joy. "Indeed, we are fated!" Diamond echoed as her hand froze for a bit, making Izzy panic for a second before she took a sip.

Izzy, seeing Diamond drinking the champagne, sighed relievedly and cheered up.

Feeling more relaxed now that Diamond had drank the champagne, Izzy started throwing questions at her as if she truly wanted to make friends.

"So, Diamond, I checked on your profile yesterday and I couldn’t believe what I saw. How did you do it?" Izzy asked curiously, very eager to know, at least, about this question.

She had investigated what she wanted to know about Diamond and failed to come up with anything substantial. It was as if some intelligence department of the nation redacted all the important information on Diamond’s life, and that didn’t sit well with her.

Since the other didn’t suspect her, she might as well ask and learn more. After all, only when you know your enemy well can you fight a great battle.

Diamond’s brows rose playfully upon getting such a question. However, since the other person was treating her well, how could she not serve well?

Besides, that thing should be in effect now. How interesting this wonderful date was going to end?

She was looking forward to it.

Twirling the glass in her hand, Diamond lazily responded, her expression very calm, as if she was sitting with a bosom friend she had known for ages.

"For things like this .... Don’t say that I am bragging but I am being honest," dragging her words here and there, Diamond said this in the opening puzzling Izzy who was confused with the words before continuing, "A person needs to be so damn beautiful and attractive. All beautiful people in this world automatically gain people’s love!" flipping her hair with the other hand boastfully.

"Pft~~~" Izzy choked as the unexpected attack came suddenly without warning, "How can you be so shameless with your words?" she found herself blurting these words consciously, and her eyes widened in horror as she covered her mouth in panic.

However, Diamond pretended as if she didn’t hear that as she beamed with a smile saying, "Don’t be too shocked. Even I was truly shocked when I saw how popular I became without doing anything."

Diamond still recalled how this socialite thing started back then. After attending the birthday party in Frin, her photos spread a bit, but not that much. However, that changed when she attended that event with Kisha.

It was around that time that people kept on talking and with how they were so enthusiastic; the twins suggested that it would be a good thing if she just started sharing her photos and other things.

After all, a lot of youngsters were earning a living by being internet celebrities. And Diamond found that fascinating.

For someone who used to lack attention from other people, she desperately wanted some attention and with that thought in mind, she joined the industry.

However, to be famous in a short time, she had tricks up her sleeves, and she didn’t mind telling Izzy about it.

"Apart from being beautiful, which earned me a lot of fans in a few days, I used money!" she truthfully answered, as her lips curled in a smirk.

Izzy was baffled by this answer. She couldn’t help but blurt out, "You, are you not afraid that these people might leave you one day after draining you?"

"Why should I be afraid?" she mockingly asked as she brought the glass to her lips and downed the remaining champagne at once, making Izzy’s eyes squint into crescents.

"Even if they want to leave, how can they even dare? If they leave me, can they even have a chance to get more money in the future?" Diamond laughed as she thought of how her fans were money grubbers at times.

She wasn’t a fool to believe that those people who followed her loved her that much. Every one of them had a reason why they were following her. And whatever reasons they had; she didn’t care.

It wasn’t like she was a saint as well.

Izzy found Diamond’s directness to be quite unexpected. However, it was this kind of talk that she was hoping for before that thing worked in her favor.

"I guess they won’t dare!" Izzy echoed as she nodded her head. "So, Diamond, I saw that you announced that you have a boyfriend?"

Diamond chuckled as she poured herself another glass before sitting back and relaxing.

"Um, I have!" she agreed, without denying that.

Izzy’s eyes flashed with a glint of ruthlessness for a second before she continued, twirling her glass in hand, "How is he? Is he good to you?"

Diamond beamed upon hearing that. Like a little girl in love, she began to praise her lover to the nines.

"I don’t even know where to start!" she shyly said as she lowered her eyes, a hue of blush appearing on her cheeks, and her response making Izzy clench her fists beneath the table.

"You know, he ..." she dragged her words as she raised her head so that she was looking at Izzy and seeing that murderous glint in her eyes that she was trying so hard to hide, Diamond wanted to roll on the ground and laugh her lungs out.

However, if she didn’t infuriate this vixen to death, then what was the point of even coming all the way here in the first place?
