So much can happen in a day, and honestly, as Diamond alighted from the car that evening, she couldn’t help but scoff at how predictable this person was.

Nevertheless, some things in life should be followed as they were. Otherwise, where would the fun be?

"Sis, are you sure that you don’t want us to accompany you?" following Diamond out of the car were the twins who had escorted her to the place where she was going to meet with Izzy.

Diamond smiled assuringly at them as she responded, "Don’t worry. Nothing can happen to me. This place, I can be considered a deity!" a smug smile on her face as she pointed at the plaque hanging by the doors of the establishment.

The twins looked in that direction and saw what they already knew, "Moonlight Lounge," but couldn’t help but wonder what she was talking about.

Unfortunately, before they could ask, Diamond’s phone started ringing.

Diamond tapped her earbud and answered, "Um. I am by the door. I will be inside in a short moment!" before hanging up.

The girls, seeing that, couldn’t help but be anxious, but seeing Diamond’s confidence, they couldn’t help but put their trust in her.

"Should we send the driver later?" before Diamond left, Precious asked.

Diamond shook her head and answered, "It’s fine. The meeting won’t end soon!"

The twins, hearing that, could only board the car and drive away, praying that everything would go well.

Meanwhile, for Diamond, she sashayed into the club and was welcomed warmly. After all, she had made a call earlier and the manager, knowing that she was VIP, treated her pretty well.

Walking towards the private room where she was meeting with Izzy, Diamond asked the manager, "Is everything settled?" a mysterious smile on her face.

The manager’s lips turned upwards into a smirk as he responded, "Don’t worry. It will be perfect!" with a reassuring smile on his face.

Hearing that, Diamond tapped the man’s shoulder approvingly.

"Don’t worry, you will be rewarded for your services!" she promised with a smile.

The manager’s smile widened upon hearing that and began showering Diamond with flattery.

The manager didn’t go far, as Diamond chased him away after she received a call.

This time it wasn’t from Izzy, but the twins.

"Did you come across trouble again?" she couldn’t help but ask.

They had just parted a few minutes ago, and they were already calling! She couldn’t help but be suspicious.

[No. no. it’s not like that. It’s just that Portia contacted us. She said that she will do a live broadcast tomorrow morning. Something came up today!]

Diamond scoffed upon hearing that, "I thought that the little missy bailed out!"

[Hehe, Portia isn’t the type to bail out easily. Especially when her image is on the line!]

"Then that’s good. Tell her I will patiently wait for it and watch it carefully without missing a single thing!" she sarcastically said, a smirk on her face.

[Hehe, I will surely pass on the message!] The other playfully responded before hanging up.

Thinking about Portia, Diamond couldn’t help but chuckle, amusement in her eyes, just at the thought of it.

The little girl must have heard some lessons the whole day. And now she ah confidence to do it. Thinking about her working hard just for a bet, Diamond once again found Portia pleasing to the eyes.

Anyway, she was destined to lose this bet from the beginning. She never planned to win it. So, she was curious as to how much hard work Portia had put into winning this game this time.

Diamond shook her head, a chuckle escaping her lips as she boarded the elevator, taking her to the floor where Izzy planned on meeting with her.

On the elevator, due to her identity, she took the VIP elevator. She didn’t need to share with others and shortly arrived on the fifth floor where the meet-up was.

After exiting the elevator, Diamond walked towards the room and on the way, she brushed shoulders with several other guests.

Men winked at her flirtatiously while ladies glared at her as if she owed them millions or more.

It couldn’t be helped when coming to a club, then dressing like a clubgoer and not as if you are going to the temple to worship.

It was evening, and the venue happened to be Moonlight Lounge, one of the hottest places to visit anywhere in Athary and a place where the rich always gather.

It was a place of influence and connections, so dressing the part was a must.

When Diamond entered the room where Izzy was, the other’s face froze for a moment, nails digging deep into her palms, envious and hatred filling her, seeing how beautiful Diamond looked once again.

For this event, Diamond wore a black mini feather sequin bodycon dress, which accentuated her curves, those long legs and, above all, half of that daffodil tattoo on her thigh.

She was wearing silver strappy heels which matched with the clutch with literally nothing inside. All her valuables were safely stored in her space.

With the hairstyle of yesterday still in effect, Diamond looked completely stunning, and she looked much younger compared to Izzy, who was in her thirties already.

Izzy, seeing Diamond looking like that, felt more hatred towards the other.

They were both women, but why should Diamond strive and look better than her?

What does she have that she doesn’t for her to be so lucky like that?

And thinking about the things that Diamond might have and she might also get in a while, Izzy forced a smile on her face as she stood up.

"Welcome, Diamond. I hope you had it easy on the road!" Izzy enthusiastically said in welcome, opening her arms for an embrace.

She was really impatient and didn’t have time to entertain Izzy for that long.

As the two of them separated, Izzy generously said, "I didn’t wait that long!" as she returned to her seat, and Diamond followed along.

"It’s good that’s the case. Now that I am here, let’s party and enjoy ourselves!" Diamond crossed her legs as she suggested that, a playful smile on her face.

Izzy, hearing that, smiled brighter as she echoed, "That’s why we are here! Let’s party!" and she was planning on making sure that they did.
