SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 389 - 387: ACE FAMILY 3
Chapter 389: Chapter 387: ACE FAMILY 3
The guest bedroom was decorated with blue as the main color, and seeing that made her heart flutter. Happy to see that she would be sleeping in a room that would make her feel comfortable.
That wasn’t all, however. As somehow, she found a portrait of herself hanging on the wall, above the bed.
With a look, anyone could tell who the owner of the room was. She couldn’t help but wonder if there was something wrong with this family.
By doing this, were they implicitly inviting her into their home and promising her a place to stay in the future if she ever came to Strawford City?
What were they doing?
She couldn’t help but look at Anita inquisitively. She was the mother of the house. So asking her provided more definite answers than the girls.
Without her permission, the girls wouldn’t be able to do this at all.
Anita smiled reassuringly at Diamond, reading her queries with a glance.
"Don’t let this stress you!" Anita chuckled lightly as she shifted her gaze back to the portrait hanging on the wall. "We all agreed to this. Since the girls took you in as their elder sister, then having a room in the house isn’t an issue. We can’t have family staying at hotels when there are many vacant rooms here!"
Diamond chuckled faintly upon hearing that answer, finding it very reassuring and senseful.
Since the other had already said this, if she spoke up and rejected, then she would be throwing away this family’s goodwill.
At least from what she knows, they didn’t have any ill intentions towards her. So, there weren’t any hard feelings between them at all.
The twins were nervous about seeing the exchange. They didn’t know if Diamond would accept it or not, but they sincerely hoped that she would.
They could only keep their fingers crossed.
Without going around in circles, Diamond turned to look at Anita and with a smile hanging on her lips, she said, "With the kind of hospitality that you are offering me. I have no choice but to accept it and say thank you!"
And when this was said, the twins cheered happily, rushing toward Diamond and hugging her.
Diamond embraced the twins, who seemed to be naughtier than before with a smile on her face.
She knew that it was the two of them who made this possible, so she ruffled their hair playfully, making the two giggles cheerfully.
Diamond, with a room dedicated to herself, felt emotional, complicated and happy at the same time.
This was the first time that she had a room in someone else’s house which wasn’t hers or her family’s. it felt very surreal.
With the room shown, the Ace family members finally left Diamond to herself to settle down.
With them gone, Diamond could now have a moment to herself.
It’s been hard.

Downstairs, Anita was sitting with the twins in the living room waiting for Diamond to come down.
It’s been over an hour since Diamond went into her room, and dinner was being cooked.
"Sister became prettier than before!" Precious enviously said with a sigh as she thought of how ethereal Diamond had become in just two months.
Patience nodded her head heavily, a helpless sigh escaping her lips.
"It’s as if we are living in different worlds. We use the same beauty cream, so why are the results very different!" she couldn’t help but complain.
Anita, listening to the girls’ conversation, couldn’t help but shake her head helplessly.
People were born different, and their miraculous encounters were all different as well. So how could everything be the same?
She was also curious about what Diamond uses. After all, she was also a user of the beauty cream and its effects weren’t as great as what she saw on Diamond.
Of course, if not compared to Diamond, then the cream was perfect. It was even better than the other beauty products which she was using before the girls introduced her to Diamond’s products.
But a person was greedy. Seeing something better, it was just normal to crave it.
Lost in the conversation, Dean, who had disappeared into the study for hours, finally emerged and he looked a bit tired. Which was normal. The young man was busy catching up with work and none of the three females in the living room felt sorry for him.
He was the heir and the other man of the house. Wasn’t it his duty to carry the burden?
Fortunately, he was used to it. Otherwise, he would be carrying so much resentment towards these ladies.
With everyone in the living room, it showed that dinner wasn’t done yet, so he joined the rest of the family to relax for a bit.
With Dean joining in, the conversation didn’t stop and he could only listen without adding anything. How could he know the gossip of the city that these three were talking about?
A moment later, a coughing sound forced everyone to stop their chattering to look in the direction of where the sound was coming from.
Descending the staircase was Diamond, who had her hand covering her mouth from the sudden cough right now.
Dean involuntarily kept his gaze on her for a while before looking away, his heart thumping a bit loudly and not to his liking.
Meanwhile, the twins looked at Diamond with sparkles in their eyes as they watched her descending the stairs in another outfit.
Diamond had changed from her shorts into grey sweatpants and a tank top. It wasn’t anything fancy and yet when looking at her, they couldn’t help but be amazed.
It didn’t take long before Diamond joined the four in the living room as well.
With an apologetic smile on her face, she said, "I am sorry for coming down late. Had a call to make earlier!" explaining herself in the process.
Anita nodded satisfactorily at Diamond, her thoughts unknown, and answered, "It’s fine. Dinner isn’t ready yet and resting is also good."
Diamond heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing that and shortly was relaxed, joining the girls in the gossiping act.
It was only when the butler called them for dinner that the gossiping came to a halt.
The five of them went to the dining room for the meal. Mr. Ace, the man of the house, was not in the city. He had left the country for a business conference and wouldn’t be back until Diamond was gone.
So, they didn’t have to wait for the man.
With the food set at the table, and with the knowledge that when it comes to food, Diamond was a pioneer, everyone was left to serve themselves like a mini buffet. And Diamond didn’t seem to mind that. In fact, she loved it.
As someone who had been told earlier to treat this place as your own home, how can she disappoint?
