Chapter 379: Chapter 376: GOOD NEWS!

So, after digesting the question for a moment, he collected himself and turned to face Diamond with a solemn expression, "This.... Let me look into it and see what is needed to raise fish. But I think that it’s a good idea. People love fish and raising it ourselves. I am certain that we will attract more customers."

After all, the farm at the moment was raising a variety of livestock, and everything was in demand. If they added fish to the list, he was sure that the farm would go viral.

It was better to raise their own ingredients than buying it. Cain believed that no other water was suitable for raising fish than the one he was currently looking at.

He didn’t know what Diamond did to the water, but he knew that he didn’t have to be worried about the drought. The dam would never dry up, and that meant that water was in excess.

Too bad, the land was now the one which was lacking. Fortunately, there was a solution to that. It would have been a mess if he had forgotten. He would need to inform Diamond before he forgets about it again.

When Diamond heard the response, she nodded as she felt that it made sense. Research was required first. This way they can know what is needed, what needs to be done and how they can do it.

Planning ahead was better than doing everything in a rush. The consequences can be dire.

Wasn’t she seeing that with how impulsive she was when she thought of opening companies? Until now, apart from the security company, the rest of the companies haven’t been opened yet.

Not only that but now it seems that the cafes were going to open first before those companies.

She chewed more than she could swallow. Fortunately, the buildings were hers and she had a lot of money to spare.

However, she didn’t regret doing it. At least, by the time the companies open, it will happen around the same time.

She might as well just deal with the whole company’s issue. This way, she can be saved from dealing with them in the future and deal with other new projects.

A person mustn’t always be stuck with the same things all the time.

Returning to the issue on hand, the two discussed for a while regarding the fish farming business and with Cain’s strong reasoning abilities, Diamond decided to wait until Cain was done with his research before, she could see how to proceed.

After discussing that, Cain suddenly said to her, "Ma’am, I almost forgot to tell you something!" his expression was apologetic as he scratched the back of his head, making her wonder what was going on again.

Tilting her head to the side, her gaze fixated on him, Diamond curiously asked, "What can it be? It can’t be that you are returning to your country anytime soon, are you?"

That would be a pity if it was like that. Cain was a subordinate she didn’t want to lose. Besides, he brought his whole family to Athary. Why return so early?

If he wants to send something, whether money or other goods, can’t he do it via a bus?

However, Cain’s response proved that she was just being over her head, which made her sigh with relief.

Waving his hands hurriedly and panickily, Cain responded, "No. it’s not like that!" his heart racing, wondering what Diamond was thinking in her head.

Taking a deep breath, seeing that her expression was now better, he continued, "It’s the neighboring farm. The owner came to see me a while ago, and he was selling. He was wondering if you are interested in buying it!" revealing the news he had nearly forgotten to share for days.

When Cain shared the news, Diamond was looking at him. So, when the news reached her ears, her facial expression went from calm to frenzy in a second.

There was nothing that she loved hearing more than something being sold. Be it a farm, a beautiful car, a building or a house.

Diamond realized her obsession with such kinds of assets. Maybe it was the fact that these always increase in value more than decreasing, which was why she was like this.

Having these kinds of assets was more of investing than wasting money.

And this farm came at the right moment when she was busy thinking of how to expand.

So, when the news entered her ears, she looked at Cain like he was her savior.

"Is that true?" she asked excitedly, her body trembling with joy and her eyes squinting into crescents, unable to hide the excitement.

Cain, seeing Diamond’s reaction, felt relieved. It was a good thing that she wasn’t mad at him, but happy with the news.

He opened his mouth, a smile on his face, and answered, "Um. He gave me his number. So, you can talk to him and see if you can get it if you want it."

How couldn’t she want the farm? She wanted it so badly that she was going to buy it at whatever price.

It was better having the two farms together than having another one in a different area.

This way, Cain could still manage, and she didn’t have to deal with a new foreman. That would be a hassle.

"Give it to me!" Diamond hurriedly urged as she fished her phone from her small bag.

Cain didn’t linger as well and gave the number to Diamond, who immediately called.

Rather than waiting till later, Diamond decided to strike the iron whilst it was hot. What if the owner had found another potential buyer because she had taken too long to respond?

Cain watched anxiously as Diamond made the call.

Meanwhile, Diamond wasn’t as calm as she seemed. She was anxious and panicking inside.

If that owner had managed to sell the farm, she was going to halve Cain’s bonus. How could he forget to tell her something this serious in time?

After a few rings, the call was answered, [Hello!]

Upon hearing the male voice answering, Diamond sighed with relief. At times, men were easier to deal with than ladies.

There was something about women that just made them very difficult at times.

"Hello, this is Diamond Perry. Am I speaking to Mr. Aleck, the owner of the **** farm?" Diamond introduced herself before asking for clarification.

There was some silence on the other side for a moment before a response came. [Yes. That’s me. How may I help you?]

Hearing that, Diamond pumped her fists victoriously. Since the man acknowledged that he was the owner of the farm, in her ears, it meant that the farm wasn’t sold yet.

So, with that good news swimming in her ears, she hurriedly went straight to the point and the two farm owners had a nice chat.

"Thank you then. I will see you tomorrow!"

[Sure. It was nice hearing from you!]

With a bright smile on her face, she said, "Same here. Have a good day!"

With all pleasantries exchanged, the call finally came to an end and Diamond felt like she was floating.

It was a done deal.
