Chapter 378: Chapter 375: FARM BUSINESS

If not in a good mood, then the best solution to deal with the problem was to talk about it. Keeping things bottled might cause severe depression, and Diamond wasn’t willing to see herself in such a state at a young age.

So, when she entered her room, Diamond staggered to her bed and weakly sat on top of it as she thought of what to do.

After pondering for a moment, she took out her phone and sent a message alongside the photo.

[Hello, I know that you are busy but I just couldn’t go to sleep with this weighing on my mind. I don’t know who is leaking these photos and sending them to me. Keep an eye out for the crew. You wouldn’t want any drama happening.]

Rather than suspecting much that he might be cheating on her, Diamond wanted to believe that this was a still from one of the projects he had been doing. After all, as an actor, it was inevitable for him to not have any intimate scenes.

These scenes were what viewers wanted to watch after all.

And since he and Kian had promised her to be hers and never stray away, she didn’t want to think much.

With those thoughts in mind, Diamond felt much better and the stress momentarily left her.

She wasn’t going to allow some hater to mess things with her.

Feeling rejuvenated, Diamond that night, spent some time in the Golden Space and worked tirelessly before resting some time later.

The next day, Diamond woke up, did her chores, ate her breakfast with Garnet and took the SUV on a drive.

Garnet was busy dealing with the cafes and other things. At the moment, Diamond didn’t need Garnet to protect her, so she was fine with going out by herself.

Besides, as long as she doesn’t take out the Cagda, no one would know it’s her as long as she remains seated in the car.

Diamond’s schedule for that day was pretty simple. Visit the farm and check the progress. It’s been a while since she had been there. And with the second water seed, she wanted to see if there was a way that she could use it there.

When she arrived at the farm, it was around ten in the morning, and the workers were busy as bees and strewn all over the farm.

There were several cars, those of customers when she arrived and seeing the cars made her smile. It was nice seeing business doing pretty well.

As soon as she parked the car, she spotted Cain hurriedly making his way towards her and she smiled.

It’s been a while since she saw this hard-working employee of hers and seeing him in a rush like that, she couldn’t help but wonder if he had some good news for her.

Diamond picked up her items from the car before alighting. Standing on the ground, Diamond looked at her feet and flexed her toes playfully.

It was a bit hot and wearing closed shoes felt like a punishment to her. So, she picked a pair of sandals and it gave her toes so much freedom that she felt like flying.

As she was admiring her cute toes, the sound of footsteps approached closer, making her raise her head to look at the person she had been waiting for.

Cain was wearing blue overalls with reflectors on them. If it was at night, the man would be glowing. Just thinking of that scenario, a chuckle escaped her lips.

That would be very funny! She thought.

"Welcome, Ma’am!" As soon as Cain reached her, he greeted her enthusiastically, wiping the sweat dripping off his forehead with a handkerchief.

diamond raised her head so that she was looking at Cain’s face. The other was taller than her, so a bit of head raising was required.

"Um. Thank you. How have you been?" Diamond said, her lips curling upwards, her expression beaming.

Struck by the bright expression, Cain felt his neck heating up and flattered. He coughed embarrassingly, placing his fist over his mouth, trying to hide his actions before responding, "Everything is well. Thank you for asking!"

Diamond’s brows rose knowingly, and couldn’t help but chuckle lightly as she started walking towards the farm.

Rather than the house or the marketplace, she was more interested in the crops themselves. She found joy in seeing them. So she would rather chat when seeing that.

Cain, seeing where she was headed, followed nimbly, and the two began to chat.

Cain, when it comes to work, was serious and never ceased to amaze her. As they toured the farm, Diamond received detailed reports on everything which had been happening on the farm from the last time she came.

This was something that Cain could do online. After all, the farm workers were part of the D Angel app as well. Unfortunately, the man didn’t seem to be a tech lover.

It wasn’t anything bad. After all, it didn’t hurt to receive the reports in person. If she continues to get them via emails, then won’t that promote her laziness and make her reluctant to see the farm in person?

So, this was pretty good, and seeing the progress with her own eyes was pretty much better than having hearsay.

The tour took a while and when it ended, Diamond and Cain were staring at the dam, which was flourishing. The water was blue and clear. She couldn’t help but feel like raising some fish.

And since the thought was swimming in her mind, she looked at Cain who was admiring the dam silently and asked, as she tilted her head to the side, "Cain, what do you think about us raising fish?" curious about the answer.

Since she wasn’t the one who would be raising them, she preferred seeking advice from the foreman. After all, whatever would happen after, he would be the one responsible.

Cain froze when the question was thrown at him. Honestly, he wasn’t expecting to get such a question. It came unexpectedly, and it took him by surprise.

However, being Diamond’s subordinate, he had trained himself pretty well to adjust and have a strong heart. Otherwise, if he is weak, he might fall unconscious because of shock one day and never see the light again.
