Chapter 376: Chapter 373: CATCHING UP 3

That night, Diamond had a chat with Andrea whose concentration was mostly in Dielas, where he was still tinkering with the humanoid robots.

She received the list of possible staff members he had looked into already. And Diamond forwarded that list to Nancy. She was going to be in charge of recruiting and interviewing them.

As for her, that night she slept with a smile on her face.

After failing to reach her lovers for so long, she received a message from Sullivan.

[SULLI: Hey babes. Sorry for not being able to reach out. Working on a confidential project, so won’t be able to talk much. However, will be done in a couple of days. I miss you.]

Receiving that one message was enough for her to be in a good mood.

She sent him a reply, "It’s fine, ae. As long as you are doing well. Take care of yourself. And I was planning on having a triple date on Valentine’s Day. Let’s all meet in Dielas. I will have everything prepared. You just need to clear your schedule."

After sending this to Sullivan, Diamond sent another message to Kian and informed him about the Valentine’s Day date. Relationships require effort, and considering that they were literally having a long-distance relationship, more effort was needed.

She didn’t want to be seen as if she didn’t care. She might not see them as often as other women out there. Or didn’t think much about them, especially when she got an interesting project, but she wanted them to know that she was thinking of them.

Celebrating with them on the most important occasions was one of the ways she could show them, as well as visit them when everyone was available. She couldn’t be seen as a heartless girlfriend after everything she had done, right?

She even gave them her pills and detoxified their bodies. Where else could they find a girlfriend like her?

After waiting for a response, which didn’t come, Diamond flashed into the Golden Space where she worked extra hard in her training and harvesting all the ripe crops.

The next day was a Monday, so Ruby went to school, leaving Diamond and Garnet at the villa.

On this day, Diamond didn’t go anywhere else as she discussed with Garnet about the logos, and once certain points were agreed upon, Garnet went to finish the job that she and Ruby started yesterday.

While Garnet was busy doing so, Diamond contacted butler Hilary and informed him about how she wanted to use the venue on the fourteenth. She wanted the Radiance Manor to serve her first before taking other people.

After giving a detailed list of what she expected, she moved on to something else again.

Reviewing all the businesses under her, there was so much that needed to be done. However, the most urgent one was the café. Since what was stopping the café from opening right now was her, Diamond needed to be busy.

Taking out the recipes she received, she studied them seriously and jotted down where she could get the ingredients for the teas, especially.

The bakery products weren’t an issue. There were professional confectioners hired, so that job was in the bag. What was more urgent were the tea mixtures.

Fortunately, the tea ingredients weren’t that expensive. What was tricky was the measurements. And she didn’t lack time to try something like that.

Knowing where they could be found, Diamond didn’t stay at home anymore but drove out in search of the ingredients.

For the milk tea, Diamond bought the normal milk powder, sugar, and normal tea leaves.

For the red tea, she purchased ginger, peppermint, cinnamon, thyme chamomile and fennel.

All these were usually taken separately when easing period cramps. However, the recipe she got spoke otherwise, and the system had never lied to her.

So, after purchasing everything in large quantities, she returned to the villa where she flashed into the Golden Space.

Who would have known that to get the perfect ratio of the powdered mixture, one needed to have perfect control of fire?

Being an alchemist seemed to be an advantage for her at this moment.

Diamond didn’t know how much time she spent in the Golden Space, but all she knew was that a lot of materials were wasted. She didn’t think that it would be so hard to mix these cheap materials.

After goodness how long, she finally managed to get the hang of it. And the process was too simple, making her wonder if she had to let go of pride and smugness to be able to fry the mixture required.

After several more attempts, Diamond ended up turning the powder into pellets. It was easier to keep and store than having buckets of powders in the shop.

What if they get accidentally wet and everything gets ruined?

So, with the small quantity she had remaining after many trials and errors, Diamond made several pellets of both the milk tea and the red tea.

As for the flavor of the milk tea, call it a radiant flavor, as the tea tasted mysterious. It was like a rainbow, always changing the taste the more one takes a sip.

Fortunately, it wouldn’t make anyone fat, otherwise she would be cursed incessantly for offering such a product and yet people can’t eat to their fill.

With the right measurements now known, Diamond knew what to do next time. And her plan was to make a lot of pellets enough to last a year. She didn’t want to be bothered with the stressful concoction process anytime soon.

Just in case the demand gets high, she was planning on setting the daily demand at three hundred cups a day, that is for both teas. That might not work actually, but a girl can dream, right?

When she returned to reality, she found Garnet done with making the three logos of the buses and was working on the logos of the café.

Seeing how busy she was, Diamond didn’t bother her but simply went to do her own things.

There was still a lot she needed to do and catch up to.

However, as she took her phone to see what was next on her schedule, a message came in suddenly.

It was from a long string of numbers, and the code wasn’t local, showing that whoever had sent her a message was not in Athary.

Curious to know which foreigner or a friend of hers she had forgotten had sent, she clicked on the message and froze suddenly.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" she couldn’t help but curse out loudly as she squeezed the poor phone in her hand.
