Entering the second underground bunker, Diamond, with the protection of the golden shield, didn’t need to stress about the dark energy which seemed to be filling the whole room.

As she walked towards the centre, she even felt some of that energy being converted by the heavenly divine art which helps her to purify her body and keep her body energized all day along.

Whatever was going on in the room, it didn’t have any effect on her, which was a huge relief.

Checking the bunker around, Diamond couldn’t help but whistle with joy as she saw the treasures that these people had been sitting on for centuries and yet never knew they had.

If she were the previous owner, she would rather be tormented by whatever evil spirits that were haunting this place than leave such luxuries. Why should she do that?

Inside that bunker, Diamond found traces of the person who created this maze, a maze that someone who knew about spiritual energy or magic could only access.

Not only that but there were traces of advanced technology, considering the other tech she came across during her treasure hunt.

Looking at some diaries she found, Diamond to not waste time took them into her Golden Space, where she took her time to read. With what was written there, Diamond learnt that the person who created this maze was someone who came from another world.

At this stage, despite her great desire to reject that notion, she could only accept that other worlds did exist. The world where this person came from was an apocalyptic one. Knowing about such a world, Diamond knew that it must have been hard.

A world of dystopia, full of zombies, abilities, cannibalism, and with no manners at all. It must have been tough for him, and she started feeling pity for him.

She didn’t know how he ended up in her world, but from what was written, after finding that loophole, he utilized it and escaped from that world with everything he could gather.

That was why Diamond came across the robots, and the strange stones with energy were the nucleus, of the zombies, monsters and other human ability users.

Since it was an apocalyptic world, jewelry, gold, paintings and other things were no longer of use. As the items needed in such a cruel world were food, clothes, weapons, and vehicles.

Any luxurious items were redundant. However, since he was coming to a new world, he brought everything he could so that he would have a startup fund.

Unfortunately, the era he arrived in was way backwards and the majority of the things he brought up couldn’t be used at all. In order to safeguard all of his treasures, he started building the maze, while he acted as the guardian of Lindwens’ ancestor. The one who bought the mountain and the surrounding land.

For the place to become haunted, unfortunately, this man wanted to live much longer, and he underestimated himself too much.

Wanting to dual cultivate and merge his abilities with the scarce spiritual energy that this world apparently used to have, a new surge of information for Diamond, the man went into overdrive.

The two energies clashed, and everything started going wrong from there. He started dying slowly until he was no more, judging from what she could see from the last diary entries. As for where his body was, she didn’t know. However, she would have Andrea check the whole area and if he was still there, she would give him a decent burial.

After all, she had just cleaned his hidden treasury.

Judging from what she had read, it seemed that the energy from this man was the one which caused all those haunting sightings. But it was her place now and the system never gave her anything haunted.

Although this room seemed to be an exception. Fortunately, the golden shield and her purification physique had been working hard on absorbing the dark energy and turning it into something useful.

After reading the journal and diaries, Diamond returned to the bunker and started sweeping the bunker of everything that she could find there.

In the underground room, she found more treasures, fabrics, jewelry, advanced tech and more robots. It has two other paths which lead to the secret base and another to the other side of the mountain, a place she hadn’t checked yet.

After taking all of that, she looked at the other two paths that obviously were going to take her somewhere.

"Andy, which path should I take?" she asked as she looked at the two.

It was getting late, and if she continued this, who knows where she would end up and at what time?

{For now, take that path to the left. It leads to the secret base. That one on the right will take you a very long distance away from here. Let’s take a look at it another time. It’s getting late.}

Upon hearing Andrea’s suggestion, Diamond didn’t oppose but took the path on the left and after walking a distance, she found herself staring at something familiar.

"This is the elevator path on the mountain, right?" she asked as she looked at the hollow part of the mountain, she was familiar with.

{Um, it is. The secret base is on your right. There is a secret elevator by the wall!}

Hearing that, Diamond looked down to the bottom of the mountain and where the car would drive to before getting lifted up by the elevator. Where she was standing, it was midway, if she was not mistaken.

A silly move and a person can fall to death. That man was truly crazy to have made something like that.

Fortunately, she came across this when she was strong at heart and no longer feared such things as that.

Diamond accessed the secret elevator, which then took her to the secret base. The secret base was indeed a secret one. Hidden in the mountain. If she didn’t have Andrea and her spiritual senses, she wouldn’t be able to know that it was there at all.

Looking around the base, it was just a place where that person tinkered with robots and other things. All of what she was seeing would make a man celebrate in joy and yet she didn’t find anything appeasing there.

Diamond took out all the robots and the gold coins for Andrea to deal with them as he saw fit.

Diamond spent a short time in the secret base and left after seeing Andrea taking over a robot, which started doing the tinkering.

With Andrea a bit busy, she left the secret base and retraced her path until she was back in the main courtyard.

Checking the time, she sighed helplessly, seeing how many hours had passed because of her adventure.

However, when she thought of what she had gained in these hours, a smile blossomed on her face.
