Chapter 365: Chapter 362: RADIANCE MANOR 3
After opening the briefcase, she opened the window, and the drone went online before going invisible. However, she didn’t panic as she knew that Andrea had taken over and the little thing was probably hovering over her car, if not mistaken.
With the drone out of the car, Diamond started driving, her car passing through the tall gates with a plaque which made her heart race, ache and be proud at the same time.
{Are you using the elevator this time?}
Diamond shook her head as she drove towards the main road, which goes all the way to the top of the mountain but takes a lot of time than using the elevator.
"Nope. I want to see the mountain today."
Acknowledging what his mother wanted to do, Andrea went silent as he continued to scan the mountain seriously.
Meanwhile, Diamond appreciated the beautiful scenery though it seemed that the sun had damaged a lot of beautiful scenery, and with the rain refusing to all, the mountain looked a bit depressing. At least in some parts.
After driving slowly all the way to the top of the mountain, Diamond smiled wryly once again as she saw the familiar setting, the group welcome of the staff working at the manor.
Diamond took her car to the main garage since she loved keeping her car in the shed and not under the inhumane scorching sun.
After doing so, she left the main garage and started walking towards her staff, who had been waiting for goodness how long.
As soon as she was closer, the familiar greeting sounded, making the corner of her lips twitch, obviously not used to it and yet feeling giddy because of it inwardly.
"I hope that everything was fine when I was away!" talking to the butler, Diamond said as they both walked towards the castle.
"Yes, everything has been going well. The business has been registered and we are currently working towards decorating the villas to ensure that when we open, we ....." The butler, Mr. Hillary started explaining everything to her and she listened attentively as she found his meticulousness very professional.
After hearing everything, Diamond had finished looking at the one villa which was completed and she loved what she saw.
From Hillary’s mouth, he seemed to be planning to make each villa different, to provide a variety when it comes to themes and so forth.
In her eyes and mind, as long as what was being done made sense and was appealing, she would accept it and go with the flow.
She wasn’t much interested in learning every subject and being proficient with it. She was one person and making herself too overpowered when she could let other people help with the burden wasn’t her style at all.
So, she approved of what Hillary was doing and supported him all the way.
"When do you think we will be able to open officially?" after digesting everything, Diamond suddenly asked.
Hillary smiled upon hearing that and responded, "At the rate we are moving, it should be February. If it’s just the villas alone, before 14 February we can start. However, we have to take into consideration the whole manor."
The manor didn’t consist only of the castle, but there was the mountain which had trees, gardens and other things. There needed to be some other features which should attract the visitors, and Hillary wanted to spend more time ensuring that the manor would have that.
Listening to him elaborating his thoughts, Diamond was once again awed by the man’s mind.
"If it’s like that, then don’t rush. Let’s open it officially on my birthday. It’s on 15 March. I believe that by then everything will be ready. Am I right?" Diamond said as she looked at Hillary.
When the man heard that, a certain glint flashed through his eyes for a second before he nodded, acquiescing to what Diamond wanted.
"That will give us more time to prepare. I think we can do that."
Hearing that, Diamond squinted happily before moving to the next topic.
While roaming around the manor, the two of them talked about this and that before she was taken to the gazebo for some lunch.
"You don’t have to serve me anymore. Once I am done eating, I will take a look around again. You can go and do your duties!" with food in front of her, Diamond shooed Hilary away.
Andrea had just informed her of some good news, and she didn’t want any tail following her around.
Hillary hesitated for a bit upon hearing Diamond’s order before he nodded and left, lost in his thoughts.
With Hillary gone, Diamond was finally left to her devices.
In front of her were several dishes which made her salivate at the sight of them.
When she started eating them, her eyes squinted as she felt the food melting on her tongue. Being a foodie, Diamond enjoyed her lunch pretty much and devoured everything on the plates.
Patting her belly with satisfaction, Diamond felt that life was treating her pretty well. She wasn’t lacking food, money or clothes. Her life was simply perfect.
’I need to increase the donation quota when I return. I can’t just enjoy this by myself!’ she thought as she recalled how she had seen a few beggars on her way to the manor who left her in a complicated mood.
She was rich. That was something that couldn’t be denied, no matter what. Furthermore, with the system aiding her, she would never know what poverty is.
However, while her life was going well, other people were suffering out there. She might as well share some of that money with others. It wasn’t like she would never get it back.
With that thought in mind, she stood to her feet, readying herself for an adventure that was probably going to earn her more money to spend.
"Darling, take me to paradise!" she cheerfully ordered as her eyes twinkled, ready to see what treasures this place has been hiding for centuries.
Who didn’t like treasures?
