Chapter 353: Chapter 350: SHOPPING

Diamond didn’t know how big the impact that post would be, but all she knew was that at least for now, letting people be aware of what might be happening in the country which would affect them badly, was for the best.

Droughts were the scariest, although the country would definitely have some food to distribute to the citizens. What she feared was the black-bellied businessmen who didn’t care about the people and only cared for profits.

Such people, she couldn’t stand them at all and thought of how much would have to suffer for those people to be happy. Her heart ached so much. That was why she didn’t hesitate to share the post. With millions of people following her, there would be an impact.

Whether it was bad or good, at least something would happen, which was what she wanted.

As for the government, what does she have to do with them for her to be worried about them? She was just a rich young lady with nothing much to do.

Unfortunately, she had no idea that some moves were enough to get one on the radar.

With the post sent, Diamond concentrated once more on her lover. Watching as he drove with one hand, humming to a tune and once in a while looking at her without disturbing her, Diamond found herself falling for him more.

She didn’t know when and why it happened, but she was falling for the twins and it was simply scary. Moreover, there was nothing much she could do to stop herself from feeling that way. Otherwise, she, who had vowed to never think far, wouldn’t have tolerated or even thought of getting engaged to the twins in the future.

Without her knowing, she had started to lose interest in finding other lovers, as she vowed to do when she first earned money.

Her mind and heart were both occupied by the twins, despite not spending much time together. Was she corrupted by them that much?

Nevertheless, if she was corrupted, then this kind of corruption, she liked so much.

After being on the road for nearly two hours, they finally arrived at their destination.

Looking at the place where they were, Diamond was sceptical about everything. She was here to find some clothes and yet Sullivan took her to a place which more or so looked like a private property.

Something that didn’t scream boutique at first glance. However, since she was here, she would rather go and check the place out. After all, gems were usually found in unexpected places.

Holding her hand with his, Sullivan led her to the house as he explained to her and helped her understand what was happening in the process.

"This is a private house of a designer friend of mine. He likes being too lowkey, so only a few people know that most of his collections are here. He is not in the country at the moment, but he told me to come and help you choose whatever you want."

Diamond, hearing that, finally understood why they were there. If it was like that, it made some sense, but who was this designer friend?

"Since he is a friend of yours, I can guess that he is good at his job!" Diamond was flattered as she looked at Sullivan, fishing for more information and surely, he took the bait within a heartbeat.

"Um, he is good. He works for BORMUGA and at the same time, he has his own brand. I prefer his brand though, it’s unique and limited," Sullivan further revealed more information.

Diamond hearing that, her eyes lit up. She was someone with so many clothes from BORMUGA and she knew how good the clothes were. So, being able to take a look at the private stash of a designer of such a brand, she was thrilled.

"His brand, what’s the name?" however, she was more interested in the limited brand than BORMUGA.

Anyone with money can have it. Why should she rush for the common?

Without hiding anything, Sullivan answered her, "LGNTE’. More of elegance, but with style, that’s how he explained it. He started his brand just last year and so far, only a few close friends of his own his pieces."

"That’s good. I love the brand name already. I hope that I will find myself a few good pieces. And money is not a problem!" she said, her eyes shining and looking forward to what she was about to see.

Sullivan, however, tapped her nose playfully as he said to her, "Why talk about money when I am the one who brought you here? I will spoil you. Isn’t that why I am here?"

Diamond grinned happily upon hearing that, and she leaned into his body, rubbing herself onto him playfully.

"Hehe, I didn’t dote on you for nothing!"

Sullivan flinched for a second before bursting into laughter and pulling her into his arms, "You surely doted me well, dear!"

The couple affectionately made their way to the house, where they were welcomed by a middle-aged butler.

"Master already informed me of your visit. I have everything prepared for you. He said that you can take what you want from there and he will deal with you when he returns!" the butler politely informed as he led Diamond and Sullivan to the second floor.

"Thank you and sorry for the trouble!" maintaining a respectful tone, Sullivan said to the butler.

"Just doing my job, sir. Please, come this way!"

After a while, the butler led them into the display room where several gowns, shoes, jewelry and bags were shining like stars on the stage.

"Wow!" that was the word which came out of Diamond’s mouth as soon as she saw the room.

Sullivan smiled triumphantly upon seeing how his friend’s clothes had managed to entice her.

"Are they good?" he asked as he nudged her and she nodded her head without uttering a word, her eyes busy scanning what was in front of her.

"Um, if you like them, then go around and check what you like! You can take your time!" he said dotingly, pushing her forward so that she may go crazy with her shopping.
