Chapter 347: Chapter 344: MEETING HIS FRIENDS
Legacy Club
Wearing black and white, a young man was walking carefully in the corridor, as he held a tray with wine and glasses.
"Oh .... Which private room are you sending that to? You got a rich client tonight?" another man in the same dress code asked teasingly as he passed the young man with the tray.
The young man with the tray smiled scoffingly at the other young man and responded, "Tim .... Why are you being nosy? Why should I tell you who I am serving?" rolling his eyes at him.
Tim who had been just chided gritted his teeth as he looked enviously at the other and retorted, "Umph, what’s so special about that? You have to entertain those old fogies anyway!" spatting as he walked by.
The young man being scolded by Tim shook his head helplessly as he continued. Dealing with nutcases was always a difficult thing.
He walked for a while before he stopped in front of a door. He knocked on the door lightly before a grunt was heard inside allowing him entry.
He took in deep breaths first before he pushed the door open and walked inside.
Looking enviously though he restrained his expression, he couldn’t help but praise the luxurious decorations in the room.
This room was one of the VVIP rooms, usually used by the owner of the club though he was very lowkey.
Only a few people knew about the owner and since he barely walked around with a poster on his forehead written, Legacy Club owner, most of the staff didn’t know who he was.
However, he was one of the few people who had served the owner and his group of friends. Since he liked being served by people with the know-how, he was here to deliver the order.
Sitting casually on the couches, were the group of friends he had seen a lot of times and envied a lot.
All the faces were very popular with no one below the other. Some of them were in the entertainment industry and business world. What he knew pretty well was having these people know that they were here, chaos would happen.
As he walked towards the table, he couldn’t help but notice that there was a new face he hadn’t seen before and it was the brightest in the room.
In fact, upon gazing at the group of friends, it was impossible to not be drawn to that face.
Wondering who she was, the young man still arrived and politely gave a greeting. They simply nodded at him as they continued with their chat.
After delivering the order, the young man gave a slight bow before he left hurriedly as he didn’t want to be an eyesore.
However, as soon as he was outside, his cheeks flushed as he recalled how beautiful that woman was.
Just who was she exactly? He pondered as he returned to his post and awaited his next calling.
Meanwhile, inside the private room, a group of six people were seated and talking merrily, with most of the attention fixated on one person in particular.
"I never thought that one day I would get to meet Sulli’s girl. You are one pretty person, Diamond!" talking at that moment, was a pretty mature lady dressed in a beautiful red dress which made her very visible in the crowd.
The color looked good on her since she was light-skinned, so it accentuated her skin pretty much. The other had full lips which looked shiny even from a short distance.
Just looking at her, Diamond could deduce that the lady was definitely a lover of cosmetic products and probably had gone under a Botox procedure in the past. Look at how those lips look suspicious with a glance.
Diamond chuckled heartily without restraining herself at all. Who made Sullivan’s friends to be friendly and welcoming?
"Thank you for the compliment. You are beautiful too!" Diamond said as she returned the compliment.
Despite the surgeries, Diamond could tell that this friend was a beautiful one. And seeing her, she was also relieved that there was no one in Sullivan’s circle to steal her man from her.
Why would he leave a natural beauty like her to go for someone plastic?
"Haha, you have a sweet mouth. No wonder why he fell for you!"
"Linda ... stop teasing her!" seeing how his friend had been teasing Diamond for a while, Sullivan intervened.
Linda glared at Sullivan though it wasn’t the kind that would send shivers down someone’s spine. "Can’t you let the ladies talk for a moment?" she asked chiding Sullivan who was stepping in to cut the fun short.
Sullivan shook his head helplessly seeing how the tables were turning in his favor because of what he had said.
"Just tone it down!" he muttered as he held Diamond’s hand.
Diamond seeing that, gave Linda a polite smile before looking warningly at Sullivan, ’Don’t interfere! I can take it!’ relaying those words though it wasn’t certain whether he understood it or not.
Watching all that unfolding were the other three who wore different expressions on their faces, though a bit difficult to analyze.
"Linda, ignore him. Anyone in this world can get embarrassed but me, I don’t know what that means!" boasting shamefully but sincerely, Diamond stated.
Upon hearing that, all eyes turned to Sullivan who shrugged in response and refused to utter a word. After all, her words were very true. Shy and embarrassed! Haha, maybe he and others would only feel that way.
She was the most shameless person he had ever met. However, he didn’t want to let others see that side of her. He wanted it reserved for him and his brother. Unfortunately, it seemed to be slipping out.
"Haha, you guys are really ridiculous. However, I love you. Come on, tell me how you guys met?" Linda laughed heartily before asking moments later, her gaze on Diamond before shifting to Sullivan.
Hearing such a question, Diamond nudged Sullivan, letting him answer it. How was she supposed to tell them how it happened? Even if she didn’t know how to be embarrassed, she knew what to divulge and what not to.
Considering all that, she passed the hot potato to Sullivan and let him deal with that.
Seeing that she had left everything to him, he held her hand and began to satisfy his friends’ curiosity.
